Officially the hotel has five stars, but based on my experience it is a one star hotel. The hotel shuttle did not wait at the airport as planned with them, I called them, they said I had to wait. Once they appeared after more than half an hour, the driver said we had to wait some more for other passengers… so the very close hotel was far away…. Once we finally arrived, we were not really impressed about the lobby, old and run down. The front desk staff were unfriendly and not helpful at all. Everything we needed had to be asked several times. For example, we asked for Moskito spray, I called the front desk five times, and it did not arrive. Only at the restaurant they gave me a bottle of Moskito repellent after I told them my issue. Also I asked them to pick up some laundry from my room,I had to call them several times and only after one and half hour they arrived. So simple things get very complicated here. The rooms are old and dated with broken walls, a lot of stains and dirty as well. And you bet there were lots of Moskitos. The Restaurant served simple breakfast and simple dinner, food was edible but not good. Also here the service was not good at all. Only positive thing is the location close to the airport - so if you don’t mind a very basic hotel with bad service, then you might be happy. But if you are a decent traveler with some expectations you better avoid this hotel.

Beware of this location guys …I ordered a room here on Priceline and I paid it , but I was also told to pay again when I got to the counter at this hotel …so I got charged twice …I was told back in March that I’ll get a refund , I’ve been getting the run around since and I still have not gotten a refund ….when I didn’t call for a month they thought I gave up so they told their customer service line that I was refunded on June 15th , but that was a lie …since I kept calling for the refund, they are now admitting that I was not refunded because they are holding my money until they receive their payment from Priceline …so because they have a hard time getting their money from Priceline , they decided to charge me again and keep my money because they think that Priceline won’t want to pay them, and Priceline is refusing to pay them now also, so I am the one who is stuck with two credit card charges when I only stayed one night …I am still trying to get my refund and we are in august now , I am never staying in this hotel again

Avete apprezzato il soggiorno - sala tranquilla al retro dell'edificio, molto grande stanza, splendida pressione idrica, efficiente Air/Con. Grande doccia e accensione per il bagno. Buffet per colazione è stato buono, chiedete le uova come le piace (scrambled, poached, ecc). Utilizzando Google Translate, potevamo comunicare con la donna al desk front. Era molto utile nel chiamarci una cabina radio per il volo internazionale di 3am. Intorno alla strada è 24 ore di negozio di comodità per quei snack di notte tardi! perfetto luogo per il soggiorno di notte o veloce.

Ieri sera siamo stati lasciati aspettare per più di un'ora nell'aula mentre il dipartimento frontale ha cercato di ordinare una prenotazione ”persa”. Ho avuto i miei 3 figli, compreso il mio 4 mesi di bambino. La gestione non è stata utile, anche se ho avuto la mia conferma di posta elettronica della mia prenotazione. Il personale dell’hotel ha chiesto di vedere la prova di pagamento sulla mia carta di credito, che ho fornito, e poi hanno detto che l’unica soluzione era pagarmi due volte, finché non potevano risolvere la riserva mancante alla fine. A quel punto, in lobby, aspettava quasi un'ora, quindi gli ho detto che era bene che mi recargassero di nuovo mentre lo ordinavano. Ho guardato la mia ricevuta e era 2 volte l'importo che avrebbe dovuto essere, quindi mi sono recargato 3 volte! Le ho chiesto di rimborsare le nuove tasse e abbiamo lasciato a 1:00 per andare in un altro hotel. La gestione non è stata utile e se questa è l'ospitalità che mostrano al check in allora non siamo interessati a rimanere qui di nuovo. Abbiamo soggiornato a Marriott lungo la strada per dozzine di volte senza problemi.

We have been at the Cortez three times, we couldn't even consider going to another hotel. The staff is so friendly and efficient, they make you feel at home. Lovely rooms, a charming patio with an inviting swimming pool and plenty of spaces where one can relax and enjoy.. Wonderful breakfast with a generous variety of fresh fruits. Although there are many good restaurants in the vicinity, it is a good idea to dine right there, great food!
