Hotel in zona Quinta Da Jardinete, Ponta Delgada

Ottimo hotel 5 stelle alle Azzorre. Le camere vista mare si tolgono il fiato. Ottima colazione. Piscine e servizi perfetti. Ristorante e bar sempre all altezza. Cambio asciugamani da piscina all'occorrenza. Spa interna di livello. Prodotti da bagno Ok

L'hotel è moderno e tranquillo, camere grandi e con terrazza . Ha piscina interna con aria condizionata e esterna, che si ringraziano quando si fa di nuovo viaggi sull'isola. Il personale di accoglienza è molto gentile. La colazione era buona ma uguale ogni giorno, poco variata. Nella città dove si trova l'hotel c'è abbastanza offerta gastronomica, ma è consigliabile auto per muoversi

Bella, molto tranquilla, complesso con appartamenti e camere d'albergo. Il complesso è situato nel tranquillo villaggio di Capela, a piedi di quartiere dalla capitale e dall'aeroporto. Una macchina è un must, ma è comunque necessario per visitare questa splendida isola. Il nostro 2-kamerappartement era molto spazioso e pulito. I letti erano buoni con la scelta di due cuscini. Cucina molto completa con forno, microonde, dispositivo Nespresso (cuppe a pagamento) e cucina d'acqua con tè gratuito. L'hotel vuole incoraggiare gli ospiti a utilizzare meno il servizio di pulizia a causa dell'ambiente. In caso di pulizia non si riceverà un buono di €3 al giorno per spendere nel ristorante. Tuttavia, €3 in questo ristorante non vale molto, poiché i prezzi sono enormi: un cappuccino costa qui €3,50 mentre su tutta l'isola i prezzi per il caffè sono circa €1, 20 È necessario chiedere i buoni, Non ho trovato un sistema conveniente e la compensazione è ovviamente totale non proporzionale (€3 contro nessuna pulizia, asciugamani, letto formato, te' supplementare e bottiglia di acqua). Il ristorante dove abbiamo bevuto il caffè con i buoni ci ha trovato insapore. La sauna, il fitness e la piscina all'interno e all'esterno non sono stati utilizzati, quindi non posso nemmeno valutare. Parcheggio sufficiente. Bere caffè confortevole tra i locali in caffetteria Moby Dick nel villaggio. Supermercati Pingo Doce e Continentale vicino a macchina a distanza. Tutti con un buon soggiorno.

This apart-hotel complex is absolutely beautiful, flowering bushes everywhere with a lovely scent. Our apartment was large and airy and had a great private terrace on the first floor (2nd floor if you’re North American). It really was a home from home with a full dining area with table and chairs and lounge area with sofa, soft rug and tv. The main double bedroom was upstairs with an anteroom having a sofa/pull out bed for children or guests 3&4. Lots of storage in the bedroom but there was a distinct lack of hangers in the wardrobe but loads of drawer space. The kitchen is adequate enough for simple meals (no oven) with a twin hob and microwave, kettle and toaster, and a selection of pots and pans. We managed really well. The hotel provides breakfast 8am - 10am if you want it at 12euros per person. We didn’t try this option. Housekeeping are amazing and come every day! Everything is clean and beds are made. Towels can be changed daily if you like. For a self-catering holiday we found that a lot was provided in the apartment for us: washing up liquid, washing up sponge, washing up cloth and a tea towel. These are replenished and changed as needed. There is also toilet roll, shower gel and hand wash provided in the bathroom which was lovely - again, replenished when needed or on request. The complex gardens are beautiful and well-tended. The pool looked lovely and well-cared for, however we didn’t try it out. There seems to be a hot tub in a wooden building off the pool area - we took a look but it was grubby and the water had floating debris. I’m sure they would have sorted it out if we had asked, but we were out and about discovering the island every day. You definitely need to hire a car for the duration of your stay here as there isn’t any bus route nearby and taxis would be very expensive to get around the island. HANDY TIP: If you’re picking up your hire car on landing at the airport and driving to Quinta da Santana - to get into the complex there is an electronic gate that requires a remote control. When you first arrive, drive past the big metal gate and find the next smaller (pedestrian) gate. Put the hazard lights on in the car and get out to ring the bell. This alerts reception who will come and open the gate for you or just give you a remote straight away so you can drive into the complex. We had a horrendous time of looking and looking and going around and around the roads trying to find the entrance!! We didn’t know about the need to ring the pedestrian gate bell (face palm!) The reception staff are lovely and very accommodating and speak English very well. I’m not sure what other languages they can speak. The area that Quinta da Santana is situated in is the one fly in the ointment….it seems really run down and the road they are situated on is all full of industrial buildings and commercial businesses. Further exploration within Santana uncovers the grubbier side of agricultural life with its local working class community.

La struttura esterna monolitica affacciata sul porto non è entusiasmante ma basta entrare in questo raffinato hotel della catena portoghese Octant per rendersi conto di trovarsi in una dimensione di lusso discreto ed autentico che non è facile da reperire su queste meravigliose isole non ancora invase dal turismo di massa. L’hotel è molto moderno, le camere eleganti ed estremamente funzionali sono di dimensioni adeguate, sia pur non eccessive, e si affacciano tutte sul porto con una bellissima prospettiva sull’azzurro del mare. Il servizio è accuratissimo, la colazione è offerta nel bellissimo ristorante ed è di eccellente qualità. Anche la cena a la carte nello stesso ristorante è di livello ampiamente superiore allo standard locale (e con prezzi ugualmente superiori). E’ presente una piccola e reffinata spa, una ben attrezzata palestra ed una deliziosa area solarium con una piccola piscina all’ultimo piano In generale l’atmosfera è di livello elevato ed i prezzi di conseguenza adeguati all’offerta. Esperienza comunque assolutamente ripetibile, volendo il meglio in questa bellissima isola.

Il centro di San Miguel è stato il nostro primo viaggio a San Miguel e possiamo solo raccomandare questo hotel! 10 minuti dall'aeroporto, personale fantastico, centro a tutto e spaziose, camere pulite. Tutto era senza spot, il personale alla reception molto attento e utile. Abbiamo dovuto prenotare per colazione, ma non c'è problema, se non vuoi prenotare per evitare di aspettare, c'è un bar/magnifico proprio fuori a sinistra.È centrale un perfetto per esplorare Ponta Delgada e l'ambiente. Non ha un parcheggio se si noleggia un'auto ma c'è un parcheggio appena in piedi per 50p l'ora.

Wanted: a conveniently-located comfortable hotel. Found: the Hotel Matriz. Flight delays from Lisbon meant I arrived after midnight but the night manager took care of all my needs. A comfortable room but looking out on a major building project - the only thing to see from my window. I didn't come here for the view, so no problem (although the noise at my siesta time was a bit invasive). In the room, everything I would expect of this category hotel. Breakfast was adequate but, after a week, it gets a bit repetitive. Car parking (free) is three floors below the hotel and best if the rental car is SMALL! Would I stay there again? ABSOLUTELY!

Di fronte all'Oceano Atlantico e direttamente sul mare, non ci sono ostacoli di fronte. La camera ha un balcone, molto confortevole e con ampia vista. Puoi vedere il mare direttamente dal letto. Il bagno è dotato di vasca. Puoi fare il bagno guardando il mare. È comodo! L'hotel è molto pulito, mi piace molto il suo stile di decorazione, ha un senso del design, l'abbinamento dei colori è molto adatto allo scenario locale e i dettagli sono ben fatti. Il servizio è molto buono, il ristorante per la colazione a buffet può guardare il mare e il cibo è abbondante. L'hotel dispone di una piscina a sfioro all'aperto. Puoi nuotare mentre guardi il mare. Se non vuoi nuotare, puoi salire pigramente per crogiolarti al sole. C'è anche un bar accanto alla piscina.
