Hotel in zona Jardin Secreto, Playa Del Carmen

We enjoyed our one night stay in Playa del Carmen and we were glad to have chosen this place. Our room was spacious, very clean and had modern furnishings. We booked our room to include a free breakfast (from the healthy cafe/shop next door) but it wasn't worth what we paid; small cup of coffee, 2 pieces of toast and a few small pieces of fruit. However, the hotel has an excellent location - close to the beach, shopping, restaurants and night life. As well, the hot tub on the balcony was amazing and we will definitely come back and book with Soho Playa Hotel again!....minus the free ”breakfast.”

Non consiglierei questo hotel. Non c'era acqua nella stanza e l'elettricità nella zona comunale (che significa non sollevamento) per il nostro soggiorno di notte scorsa. Dobbiamo portare il nostro pesante bagaglio nelle scale per controllare. Il ricevitore ha promesso di rimborsare i soldi per l'ultima notte, ma il nostro agente di prenotazione ha detto che l'hotel non è raggiungibile perché non rispondono mai alle chiamate telefoniche o alle email, quindi la nostra richiesta di rimborso è ancora in attesa. L'hotel si è impegnato a procedere immediatamente con il nostro rimborso, ma ovviamente non è così.

Let me first start off and tell you that the reception staff and maids are absolutely lovely really helpful my issue is not them at all. I'm going to write this review completely honest because I don't want another person to go in blind like I did. If you like sleep and you like quiet do not stay at this hotel. First of all when we arrived at hacienda del Caribe after an 11 hour flight we were told we were being moved to their sister hotel which is a bit of a walk with a disabled child our daughter and four suitcases anyway we were tired and happily agreed.The hotel is the most noisiest hotel I have ever been in and we have travelled the world.Not street noise that I can understand as it's the town no it is people inside the hotel because the windows are sheet thin and the doors have huge gaps the security do not care. I took videos of the noise.i complained to the hotel who moved us up a floor however we were without a room entirely from 11am until 4pm my disabled son needs a quiet room and this is unacceptable. The noise was just as bad I took more videos of a man trying to kick our door down I rang reception for security no answer my husband ran out to restrain him as he was biting guests and he strangled the receptionist armed police turned up then security I did not feel safe after this and I told them this. It was packed with people who were like wild animals screaming all hours day and night not once told to be quiet? It ruined the holiday if I'm honest but you get what you pay for.oh might I add aswell I had earplugs in! Pros Pools nice but could do with a scrub The staff especially the maids are just lovely Local to everything really If you want to party definitely your hotel Cons Noisy like extremely noisy Attracts the wrong kind of people noisy,rude obnoxious The large windows to the room are extremely unsafe can easily be broken into The beds are like concrete The cafe next door is overpriced for the food you get but that's all of plays del Carmen horrible food

Piccolo hotel carino, a 3 isolati dalla Fifth Avenue. una zona tranquilla, bei ristoranti vicino al centro, buona colazione, l'unico svantaggio qui era che l'aria condizionata non funzionava, ma il responsabile ha fornito una nuova camera di aggiornamento. L'hotel ha un potenziale ma necessita di un aggiornamento esterno. La foto è una pizza vegana proprio accanto! Sorprendente.

We are a well travelled couple who are generally easy going and not hugely demanding. Positives: - The hotel is centrally located. - The hotel is quirky and a little quaint (personal opinion). - The hotel is fairly cheap. - Cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. - Our room was huge. OK's: - Reception staff friendly-ish (some more than others). - Cute little pool but way too much chlorine. Negatives: - The reception staff can barely communicate in English and made no effort to get hold of someone who did. - We booked a room with two beds. The one bed was very firm and the second not useable (it was too unstable to sit on let alone sleep on. - The pillows were made from memory foam and accordingly very hard. Woke up most mornings with back and neck ache. - Air-conditioner leaked non-stop. We had to use both trash cans in the room to collect the water and they needed regular emptying. Reported this to reception on 4 occasions without remedy. - Lack of furniture in the room. The room is listed to cater for 4 guests however there was only 1 dinning chair in the room for use at the little table. - The balcony is a good size but no chairs, however there was a table. Also the railing around the balcony was very wobbly and badly rusted (certainly wouldn't let children play on that balcony. - The shower-head was very old and blocked which resulted in the bathroom getting flooded and a rather unpleasant shower experience. - General maintenance of the room was terrible. Windows and balcony door opened and closed with difficulty. Front door was felt very insecure and the internal locks (chain lock) was barely attached to the door. (granted I never felt unsafe). Holes in the walls that have never been filled or repaired. - One day we noticed what appeared to be bloody foot steps in the pool area. It unfortunately took the staff two days to clean these footprints. Unfortunately, I would never stay at this hotel again. I would also not recommend this hotel to anybody else.

Tutto è andato bene, le strutture sono un po 'antica ma di buona dimensione, suggerimenti sarebbe che aggiungere un asciugacapelli nelle camere e che cambiare le tovaglie perché durante il nostro soggiorno non ci hanno cambiato le nostre - Una tovagliola.

Siamo una giovane coppia che ha deciso di trascorrere due giorni in questo fantastico resort soggiornando in una delle 400 camere presenti. La nostra camera in particolare aveva una vista sulla laguna che attraversa il resort. All’arrivo, Alfonso, personale del resort ci ha subito accolto e preso le nostre valigie e le chiavi della nostra auto per portarla al parcheggio. Dopo aver effettuato il check-in ci siamo diretti con una macchina da golf presso la nostra camera, dove abbiamo potuto osservare parte del resort in compagnia del signor Alfonso che ci spiegava le attività e i ristoranti presenti nella struttura. La camera il letto fronte alla laguna ti regala dei colori mozzafiato ad ogni risveglio. Entri in camera e ti senti a casa, tutto quello che desideri è lì a portata di mano, non manca un dettaglio, puoi persino lasciare il tuo alimentatore per caricare l’iPhone a casa perché sono presenti prese Usb accanto al letto. Il pomeriggio ci hanno fatto trovare degli ottimi cookies e una borsa con all’interno un termos, un telo mare e un set da viaggio per cosmetici. Il secondo pomeriggio una porzione di frutta fresca, tutto senza mai aver chiesto il servizio in camera. Ogni giorno la camera veniva ripulita e se mancava qualcosa dal frigobar o del caffè veniva rimpiazzato, cosi come i cosmetici presenti nel bagno. Il resort è molto grande e il modo migliore per visitarlo è prendere una delle tante biciclette che si trovano nei vari parcheggi e fare un giro per poi lasciarla sulla spiaggia, bere un ottimo Margarita e tuffarti in mare o in una delle piscine, senza ricordarti di prendere un telo mare perché presso ovunque è presente un armadietto con teli mare a disposizione dei clienti. Avendo optato per il piano All-inclusive, avevamo quindi accesso a tutti i ristoranti presenti tranne al ristorante “Gaia”. La colazione in questo resort rende difficile la scelta di come iniziare bene la giornata perché il buffet è cosi ampio che non si sa cosa scegliere. Tutto di qualità, frutta fresca, pane, cornetti, salumi e tanto altro ancora. Pranzare e cenare presso qualunque ristorante presente nella struttura è sempre stata un’emozione. La mia fidanzata è intollerante al glutine ed in ogni ristorante che siamo andati, il cameriere chiedeva sempre le intolleranze prima di prendere un’ordinazione, un dettaglio che fa la differenza. I ristornati sono eleganti, dallo stile retrò al moderno, molto buono il cocktail “Papi’s Home” presente nel menù del bar da “Tauro”. Alcuni emozionanti, come “Fuego” dove puoi pranzare a piedi nudi sulla spiaggia e ammirare la bellezza e i colori del mare che la natura ti regala. Il Mayakoba da l’opportunità di effettuare anche alcune attività, noi abbiamo optato per la canoa, ma non puoi allontanarti oltre a delle barriere che sono presenti nel mare per trattenere le alghe. Il giro di circa 45 minuti sul catamarano ci ha permesso di andare un pò oltre e poter apprezzare ancora di più i colori del mare. Alla fine del nostro s

uno dei migliori hotel che abbia soggiornato, avete tutto come 12 ristoranti da mangiare e le piscine e il posto per fare kayak e essere sui piscine oceaniche Ara sorprendente il suo bel ristorante con tutto quello che si può sognare, superficie sorprendente e il ristorante il mercato San Juan è sorprendente per colazione il suo cibo in tutto il Messico si ha bisogno di una settimana per vedere l'intero hotel, più si ha accesso a tutti i parchi di Xcaret noi provare i xensi e Xcaret alla notte è bello, tutto per tutta la famiglia meglio di quelle disneys ritrovo Uno dei 10 migliori hotel del mondo, ha qualcosa per tutti i gusti, dalla privacy a molti posti per socializzare.

This was my second stay at the Westin Cozumel. The property is beautiful and well-maintained, and in a nice location - just a 5-10 taxi ride into town. There are several restaurants that are excellent and just steps away. The private beach and snorkeling steps away is a real plus. The staff is very pleasant and kind, particularly Damian at the front desk. We also enjoyed a massage at the Zazil spa on-site - excellent services with hydrotherapy and very skilled masseuse. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and amazing views. Would recommend! The only I thing i foresee needing an update would be the bathroom tile work - it's starting to look a little dated/ragged. It's a short ride from the airport so, traveling from Houston, we can be on the beach with a drink in hand in under 4 hours. Win. win.
