My husband and I just returned from our 5 night vacation at Grand Velas. We stayed in the Grand Class section which is the adults only area. We had an ocean front room that was beautiful. We were located on the 3rd floor with a plunge pool on our balcony. Our view of the ocean was absolutely incredible. We enjoyed breakfast and pre dinner drinks on our balcony every day. The Grand Class pool was perfect. There were plenty of loungers and umbrellas for everyone. We went down most mornings around 9am and were the only ones in the pool area for hours. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The service was fantastic. Luciano took such great care of us all week. He made sure we had cold waters and drinks throughout the day. We were also able to order lunch directly from our loungers. It was by far the best service we have ever had. Thank you Luciano for making our week incredible. We loved the food at Grand Velas. We dined at Sen Lin, Piaf and Cocina De Autor. We also enjoyed pre dinner drinks at the Sky Bar as well. Each restaurant had a variety of dishes and there were some incredible vegetarian options to choose from. We had in room dining twice which was a great choice on the nights we didn’t feel like doing much. Our concierge, Nora, was incredible. She took care of all of our needs and was always available for any requests or questions we had. Lastly, every single employee we came in contact with went above and beyond to make sure we were cared for. I can’t thank the staff at Grand Velas enough for their incredible hospitality. It was such a great week and we will certainly choose the Grand Velas brand next time we come to Mexico.

La stanza è grande, pulita e confortevole, l'ambiente è bello, il terreno è particolarmente conveniente. Our family recently stayed for one week at Rosewood Mayakoba. We went for Thanksgiving week and there were lots of festive theme dinners with delicious food and music. The service by the staff was exceptional- some of the best I have ever experienced in all my years of travelling. ( Including reception, concierge, waiters at restaurants, pool and beach attendants). It is an gated community with lush landscaping , lagoons and a beach. The setting is truly magical. Be sure to take the boat ride offered by the hotel that goes through the resort. My grandchildren loved the resort including the bicycles provided to all the guests, the complimentary beach equipment including a sail boat. The 1.5 hour snorkel trip was great too. We ate at all our meals at the hotel and Zapote was our favorite. Look into the meal plan that is not advertised but is reasonably priced. My son and his wife did the community dinner and said it was a highlight. At the beach and pools the staff come around with treats all day long. The snowballs are great too! The suites are fabulous and large with luxurious bedding. Housekeeping cleaned our suite to perfection 2x a day. There is a great spa with a sauna and steam area and a beautiful adult pool at the spa. Rosewood Mayakoba does everything first class! I want to thank our amazing butler- Gerry. He provided us with great service during our stay and had the best attitude. Be sure to download the app- to contact the butler. He will respond immediately. Thank you also to Susana Palacios/ Concierge- for your great communication in planning our trip. Also to Jorge Garcia- Reservations Agent- for being so kind to us. It was a pleasure meeting the Rooms Director- Alberto. Thank you for the beach bags. A resort that is that special does not just happen without the leadership of the General Manager- Daniel Scott and the Resort Manager- Christian. They are always present and very engaging with the guests. I loved talking with both of them. There is a reason Rosewood Mayakoba is rated 5 stars by Forbes Travel Guide. They have also won numerous awards including Travel and Leisure Worlds’ Best. Our whole family enjoyed our week at Mayakoba and look forward to coming back.

Il servizio presso la reception/lobby è fantastico, utile e amichevole. Anche nella piscina, il personale cerca di fare il meglio come molte persone ordinano e penso che hanno bisogno di più personale per servire tutti. Tuttavia, al ristorante La cocina per colazione e cena al ristorante Sushi: il servizio era piuttosto lento, anche alcuni piatti erano stati dimenticati e abbiamo cancellato, alcuni cibi arrivati freddo bisogno di migliorare il servizio da tavola. Stavo solo in una delle unità per 5 notti. Sono stati in larga misura adn questo si trova in definitiva come uno dei migliori posti che ho soggiornato. Solo un giro 30-45 min dall'aeroporto di Cancún. Puoi organizzare il traspo in anticipo attraverso il condo/hotel. Il check-in era senza saldatura, signore al divano frontale così amichevole, professionale, cortese. L'intero personale per questo è gentile, utile, ti aiuterà a ottenere ciò che vuoi o ne hai bisogno. Erick è sempre stato super utile!!! Le strutture sono lussuose, verde, decorate bellissimi, grande brisa forma l'acqua. Il luogo è immacolato. Piscine sono grandi pulizie, bellissimi tubi caldi w costruiti in sedili di fronte all'oceano è un bel toccamento! Alcuni di questi impianti hanno i propri tubi caldi. Sono stato così piacevolmente sorpreso da tutte le strutture come i terreni di caffè, i prodotti di carta, la forma dell'acqua, il distributore ecc- le strutture non sono di solito incluse quando ho affittato condotti. Amorevole essere in grado di ottenere giorno passa per la palestra locale e godere di yoga, bootcamp, ecc. La posizione è perfetta. Sargassum è stato cattivo per alcuni giorni, ma gli hotel sulla spiaggia cercano di tenerlo pulito, non la loro colpa, il problema lungo le coste, anche Florida si batte duro. Pochi isolati da qui a 5° piano sono tutti negozi, ristoranti, musica., club notturni.L'ho gia' gia' prenotato una stanza per un viaggio.

Banyan Tree is a wonderful, special place with a lot to be both celebrated and considered before booking. Pros: The Staff - Anyone can spend money to make a beautiful hotel, but an incredible staff changes the entire experience. I believe that’s what makes it memorable at the end of the day. This place has figured it out. We have been fortunate to travel the world and this staff and service might be the best we’ve ever experienced. Diana, manager of the Tomahawk steakhouse went so far above and beyond to make my 7 year old son feel special that said “Daddy, can I pay to work with her?” Ricardo, Raul, Diamante, Santiago, and Edwin make the pools/beach something you’ll never forget. They are highly skilled cocktail makers with great energy and ability to connect with people. Ricardo‘a spicy mezcal drink and Raul’s smoked rosemary drink were the best of the trip. Kids Club Diana and everyone there are wonderful. Jesus was always there to help and a great boat tour captain. And we can’t forget Ana, who was the perfect welcome and goodbye at the property. The Service/Communication - They are incredibly responsive via phone call or WhatsApp for absolutely anything you need. Rooms - These villas are incredible. Just make sure you check if your living room is disconnected from your bedroom suite, in the event you’re planning to have children/guests stay there, if it matters to you. Note: wildlife will come into your room if your doors are left ajar at all. Medical Care - The Mayakoba property has a phenomenal doctor on site who showed up within the hour both times we unfortunately had to call. We had stomach issues that had nothing to do with the property and they provided shots that got us back in the game nearly instantaneously. If you feel it starting, I cannot recommend getting the shot immediately more. It saved our vacation. And they take United insurance, shockingly. Pool - The pool at the beach with live music was the crown jewel of the property for us, but the lobby pool has a great vibe with trendy music and the best drinks and swim up bar. Breakfast - Outstanding. Everything you could want - too much to list here. HAAB Dinner Experience - Their signature dining experience is pretty epic. Pricey but worth it. Henry is then perfect host and guide. El Pueblito - The 4 Mayakoba properties share a little town square that you must see. There is also a small but worthwhile arcade for kids. Cons: Mosquitoes - The resort is built into a tropical jungle lagoon. The mosquitoes are bad. Not visibly bad, but you will get bites wherever you go. There’s a clear lack of indoor dining seating. Cost - Everything is very, very expensive. Especially for a la cart. With hotel prices sky high right now, we found the combination of room and food/drinks to be as/more expensive than the nicest US properties. I think most people would expect more for the money in Mexico. To their credit, it doesn’t feel nickel-and-dimey and you don’t feel like you need
