Le Reve Beachfront Hotel

We went for our 20th anniversary. The resort and service were amazing. We had the most wonderful stay. The food was incredible and we had plenty of activities when we wanted something to do. Our room was 2nd floor oceanfront. It was perfect. We had a beautiful view and ocean breeze. All of the staff were gracious, kind and hospitable. We are already planning our next trip.

Very nice Resort. The views are amazing & Beachfront is literally on the beach. The grounds are well maintained & clean daily. The room we had was very nice, but could use some work, like bathroom corners were dented, had some cracks in the walls, small stuff. Staff was great! Food at Santa Sirena was the best, my personal favorite, 2nd was Sea Olive. Overall I would consider visiting this Resort again

The staff is actually some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Staying at the beachfront was honestly the best choice we could’ve made being at this resort since the views are absolutely stunning, and the food is above average for all inclusive places. I mean, everything here was top tier. I ended up texting the staff in our group chat the day after we got back home since I missed them so much. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here, you will have no regrets. My partner and I were here for our 2 year anniversary and were surprised on our last night by the housekeepers decking out our room. Everyone made us feel so special, and was attentive to everything we could’ve possibly needed and more. I recommend staying for at least a week to experience a taste of what they have to offer. No regrets at all.

Le Reve has an advantageous location and may have been a great place. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. The description and photos on the website are outdated, and the property is clearly neglected by management and/or owners. During our stay at one of the beachfront villas with pool, we noticed that the place is falling apart and not properly maintained. We experienced power outages for at least one-third of our stay, no water for a significant portion of two days, and no hot water from the evening prior to our checkout until we left at noon. There is no maintenance crew, and the front desk associate had no tools to try and fix a broken pipe. The furniture and fixtures are old, some are broken or missing, and the beach chairs and lounges are beaten up with no umbrellas. The pipes are rusty, light bulbs are missing, and the mattresses are hard. The bedding and towels are old, stained, smelly, and have holes. The rooms are only half cleaned, and none of the common areas were cleaned during our three-night stay. The few employees who showed any care did their best with what they had, including Arturo, Javier, Alvaro, and Beth. Unfortunately, we did not see any management during our stay. We hope that this review will serve as a warning to others considering this property. The issues we experienced are not isolated, as other recent reviews have referenced the same problems and the hotel’s responses not followed with actions. This hotel should not be operating.
