Went to a concert at PPG arena. This is right across the street. Fantastic place to stay. Extremely convenient

Great place to stay if you are seeing an event at the PPG arena. It’s literally right across the street. You can walk to it without any issues.

Great stay other than 3 things. Had to valet due to the parking garage being only 6 ft tall…Jeep Wagoneer was too tall. Had to wait in line for check-in for 30 minutes. Had a relatively significant wait for elevators every time I used.

Hotel was nice and it a great location for why we where there. However our room was located right by the elevators and we could hear them all night long and if that wasn’t enough the vending and ice machine was right across from our door. Walls must be thin we could also hear other people alarms going off in the morning and all the talking from people just walking by.

I didn’t like that there are charges for wifi if you are not careful the way you log in. $13 a day is a bit excessive. All other hotels in the area have free wifi. This hotel had it listed as free, until you go to log in. Disappointed in the sneakiness of the setup.

Do not stay here on weekends or when full if you like hot (or even warm) showers. I stayed here for 5 nights, from Wednesday to Monday. Of the 6 attempts to have a hot shower, 2 were hot (Thursday morning/Sunday night). The other 4 attempts (Friday night, Sat morning, Sat evening and Sun morning) were ice cold. In talking to other guests they all said they experienced the same thing. In talking to staff, they said the system was old and couldnt handle being full. The place is clean, modern, has good food and very friendly staff, and is an excellent location. Just be prepared for cold showers if youre there when its full. I will NOT stay here again. Far too expensive for a 4 star hotel to not get hot water for a shower.
