Friendly staff, excellent room, soft sheets and towels. Nice location. Good breakfast. And love the pool and bar area.

Everything was really nice! Cleanliness, upkeep, pool/ hot tub and pool area are great. The staff were friendly day and evening. Fireplace, Great 👍

The room was in disrepair so they gave me a different room. The second room was worse.
I left after the first night.
The wall heater was so load and kept waking me!

We've stayed at a couple hotels in Pinetop-Lakeside, and this place, by far, is the best. It's extremely clean and inviting. They have a small bar with great beer on tap. Breakfast was great. We'll be staying here every time from now on.

Front desk staff at check-in was not well trained

Early morning we requested an upper story room due to having a newborn traveling with us and we’re told it wasn’t promised. We checked in and they gave us bottom floor next to the “new years party area” COMPLETE OPPOSITE of our asking. I wasn’t allowed to check in until after 4. I was told 3pm and tried to check in and instead got sent away due to rooms “not being done” so we had to find something to do with our newborn and anxious toddler. 1130pm there was so much noise and my wife called check in asking for any possible way to change rooms due to our newborn being unable to sleep. My wife said we requested this morning an upstairs due to our kids and being new years we knew it would be too loud downstairs. The lady said “you talked to me this morning about a room I’m the general manager” well why couldn’t you accommodate? Luckily someone didn’t show up so we got a suite but we should’ve been accommodated from the beginning.

Reserved this property because of inside pool. It was closed when we arived. Also tub did not drain well so when you done showering you was standing in 3 tob4 inches of water

We've stayed more than a few times over the last year. It was our go to for a weekend getaway while staying close to home, but thanks to the lady at the front desk (Lori), we'll probably never come back.
Phone started ringing at 959 the morning of check out to remind us that checkout was at 11, pounding on the door at 1030 threatening to call the police if we didnt open up (were showering at the time), had to open the door still covered in soap with just a towel on to tell her i was in the shower. Then, in a stern manner, she tells me to stop by the front desk so she could talk to me, all while im still covered in soap.
Upon leaving, she asks for my credit card again because there "wasnt one on file." Yet, the evening clerk took my card when we checked in. After all that, she tries to get us to sign up for the rewards program.
Nope, thanks to Lori, we will be taking our business elsewhere from now on.

Everything was perfect until 10 am thebday of checkout. Our phone started ringing over and over, staff began knocking our door, and we were repeatedly harrassed that checkout was at 11. We were told that if we stayed past 11 we would be charged an extra $25.
We got up, got ready, and were out of the room at 11:05 and the lady at the front desk had already looked up our booking history, then began to act nice. Before all of this, we had planned to stay an extra night but started to have 2nd thoughts after this interaction.
Ended up booking an extra night anyway and the 2nd morning was even worse. Phone calls at 959, banging on the door at 1030 and being threatened with calling the police because i was in the shower and didnt answer the first 3 knocks. Then being told "stop by the front desk on your way out, i need to talk to you."
Never again!!!
