We had a fantastic holiday at the best western bang tao everything about this hotel was excellent, food, pools, beach and especially the staff. The restaurant near the beach was great with freshly cooked food at lunchtime and evening and a lovely ambience, we celebrated our friends birthday while we were there and the hotel went out of their way to make it a memorable occasion. Thank you John for all your help before we arrived. Would definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed here for 4 nights Bed & Breakfast & were upgraded. To say the room was an upgrade, it was in need of refurbishment. Also desperately needed a dehumidifier as the walls were soaking with water from the air con. The card holder hanging off the wall & everything a bit dated all around the hotel. However, the staff were pleasant, maid was actually amazing and the rooms cleaned daily’. Came back to an amazing “happy birthday” touch for my daughter’s room . Pools were ok. Prices weren’t too expensive in the hotel. Mini bar was restocked and prices reasonable (we dont drink alcohol). Beach unfortunately had a lot of litter washing up, however staff worked hard in the mornings to clean up. I would rate this as a 4 and no more.

I have stayed at Best Western Premier Bang Tao many times over the past ten years and I am always impressed by the facilities and the professionalism of the staff. A great location right on the beach.

This is was my second stay at BW Bang Tao and I can't fault it. The location is ideal for a quiet holiday, but there is also easy access to Phuket attractions and culture. We used local taxi, tuk-tuk and the hotel shuttle bus. The hotel trip/excursion agent is helpful and was very quick to resolve a situation that happened on a trip we had booked. there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and on the beach, lots of choice if you are not All Inclusive. The 7-11 across the road also ideal for provisions (G&T!) In the hotel, everything is clean, well presented and the staff so courteous, helpful and kind hearted - nothing is of too much trouble to make guests feel they are at the centre of their role. Special thanks must go to Daniel, the customer relations team member. We were given such a warm welcome as returning guests and our rooms had been beautifully decorated with extra orchids. Throughout our stay Daniel went above and beyond to always stop and chat and help out if we needed anything - an extra mattress topper for a bed, local information and arranging a later check out for us. I was travelling with my elderly mum and this made our final day in the hotel so much more relaxing and stress free before departing on the long journey home. THANK YOU We certainly hope to return to BW Bang Tao as it is a wonderful escape - i can't recommend it enough if you are looking for laid back, safe, comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Phuket.

We had an amazing experience during our 2 week stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Daniel was exceptional - regularly check how our stay was going and offering excellent suggestions for days out. Daniel is a real credit to the hotel! The location is also perfect: away from the chaos found at other resorts but close enough to atmospheric bars and restaurants if desired. We highly recommend staying at this hotel!

What a perfect place to stay and spend time with your family. The food was all good, especially breakfast. Lunch at seaside has a massive amount of servings, the staff are nice and approaching. I always look forward on talking to Maebel, she’s very easy to communicate with and always smiling. The view was very nice because our sun bed are located at the beach front. I will definitely go back again when have time.

The hotel is perfectly located, it is right next to the sea. The beach is not crowded at all, and there are many sunbeds, enough for everyone. The rooms are clean, furthermore the beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are ready to answer all your questions, share their experience and give advice.

We spent here a very lovely holiday. The hotel is nice and clean. The general areas are kept clean. Rooms also are well cleaned daily. The pools are big and there are plenty of sunbeds available around them and also on the beach. Staff is nice and very helpful. Breakfast was good and variable enough to get your day started. Some good restaurants nearby. Recommendation especially to Pooh and Friends. Biggest asset for this hotel is the location right on the beach. The beach is n.ice and long where you can find enough activities to you liking or some calmer spots.

The first thing I will say is that the staff here are great! I had some issues with the hotel and they couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. That said, we left after a few days and went to a different hotel for the remainder of our holiday. This is not 4 star standard. The pool area is lovely, ( although there are signs warning guests not to leave towels on sun beds and disappear!) The rooms, however, are not great at all. They smell quite musty. The paint work is scuffed, the bathrooms are dated, the pillows are dreadful. There are no lifts and some rooms are 4 floors up. Both the bar and the restaurant are outdoor - no air-conditioning and very few fans. We only had breakfast here, but compared to other hotels on our trip it was just ok. The bread and pastries were particularly poor. The area outside the hotel is not great either. It’s quite run down, (although Crave restaurant, which is just across the road, is excellent and worth a visit.) If we had paid quite a bit less, ( which we mostly do), we would have been happy enough, but given what we paid for a 4 star hotel, it just wasn’t good enough.

This hotel is a for anyone that wants to be spoilt. It is very comfortable, the rooms being a good size. They were kept very clean and the bed was so comfortable. The hotel was right on the beach. The staff were amazing always smiling, helpful and very attentive. There were some Philopino trainees there namely Maebel and Louis. They will, no doubt finish the course and go on to do their chosen career. We with them the best for the future along with the others. I spent my birthday there and WOW I certainly enjoyed it. First breakfast. The staff gathered round and gave me a cake and sang Happy Birthday and presented me with a birthday sash. Then at evening the same thing.

A lovely hotel ideally situated on the beach, offering excellent service and food with extremely helpful staff. There were too many beach bars and beach umbrellas for our liking on a stretch of about half - a mile.( past the hotel) However they offered great food and drink . The hotel is one of the best in the area. We opted for a Garden room, they were great quiet and well pointed. Lots of restaurants locally to choose from all selling the same sort of food. We found the alcohol here the most expensive of our holiday paying up to 180 bart a large bottle of lager. Gand T same as the UK . Previous resorts were priced a large beer was 90- 100 barts approx . But still still cheaper than the UK. Two lovely swimming pools which 3/4 were in the shade most of the time due to the 4th floored bedroom blocks.The hotel adopts a excellent policy regarding reserving sunbeds and they stick to it . The local market was a waste of time . But a trip ( organised by the hotel on a the mini bus, cheaper than the local taxis) was well worth it to the old town, just to have a look around for a couple of hours. There is a lot of development taking place outside Bangtao beach. If you are going to go , go now before it becomes very busy and commercial.

We travelled as 2 mature couples and stayed at the hotel between the 16 and 31 January 2024 on an all inclusive basis. First impressions were a little bit underwhelming, the hotel is situated off an internal road in a ramshackled little town comprising of mainly restaurants shops and massage parlours.There is a 7/11 shop directly across from the hotel which stocks just about everything.The reception area, grounds, pool areas and beachfront were spotless and really well cared for. Check in went smoothly and we were shown to our rooms on the top floor of block 4 overlooking the adult pool and with a limited sea view. We paid TUI extra for our room with a sea view…don’t do this as all rooms have a sea view!! WiFi is linked to your room and worked reasonably well all holiday.The rooms were fine albeit a little tired, the aircon is on permanently and became a little chilly during the night. The rooms were clean and serviced beautifully each day. Don’t choose a room on the 4th floor if you have mobility issues there’s a lot of steps to climb!! In relation to our all inclusive package….firstly I had writers cramp after the holiday because you have to sign a chit for every drinks order…a real pain!! Secondly I’d suggest only appx 10% of all guests were on all inclusive the rest on a B&B basis. Breakfast time was really vibrant, plenty of choice and really good with plenty of staff clearing and replenishing plates. Lunch was served a la carte at the Seaside restaurant again plenty of choice and good standard of food, you could also book the restaurant for Dinner which we did once. Dinner in the buffet restaurant had a different theme every night and had resident singer which we enjoyed, there was also a professional act once per week, we enjoyed the traditional Thai dance evening…the other act was terrible and in bad taste. Back to Dinner the buffet restaurant was like the Marie Celeste, there were more staff than Customers although the food and overall choice was acceptable.We also believed we had limited access to the sister hotel….we never actually found the hotel but passed it on our way back to the airport… it seemed miles away and not a feasible option!! Now to Drinks… served from the pool bar during the day as well at the Seaside restaurant and buffet restaurant at night (more chits to sign) All Inclusive guests can only get evening drinks up to 10.30pm which is a little bit mean. In relation to quality of alcohol…the Chang beer was fine and decent brand mixers, the red and white wine were just about palatable but the spirits were terrible…. Any labels of note e.g Gordon’s gin was charged as extra…enough said!! Water sports and daytime entertainment… The sea was definitely murky in front of the hotel, I only went in once but in fairness it was clean further around the bay but there were a plague of jellyfish so we gave the sea a miss. Jet skis and boat trips are readily available from the beach. The Pools were lovely and clean with fresh towe
