Vivace Hotel

Very friendly staff , the location is good near Big C supermarket and kamala beach

We enjoyed our stay at the VIVACE. It's close to the beach, clean and the hostess ladies were wonderful --- greeting us on our late night arrival and making sure that we enjoyed our stay. Note, there are three buildings with rooms. Visitors may have a preference on location relative to the front desk/pool area

Kamala beach has plenty of accommodation on offer so it is very difficult to choose a property. We made our selection based on the excellent reviews given to the Vivace hotel. As soon as we arrived at reception we knew we had made the right choice. Ju,one of the owners checked us in and was very friendly and helpful. Our room was a deluxe studio with a patio leading directly to the very inviting pool. The room was well equipped with a modern bathroom including a bath and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Towels were changed everyday and beach towels were also provided. Although the hotel does not offer breakfast it is possible to have a coffee in the morning. Normally we avoid a cappuccino unless we are in Italy but the cappuccino here was on a par with that so we had one every day. Water , soft drinks, wine and beer are also available. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk to the beach and there is a huge selection of shops and restaurants nearby. The night market is also within walking distance. Ju and Zen the owners are such good hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. Although they are very busy they still make time to chat . Every time we returned to the hotel after a day on the beach the property never failed to make us think of a little oasis , peaceful and restful. We were really sorry to leave and are already looking forward to returning next year.

Where do I start? The most perfect hosts I have ever known on a holiday, and we do lots of trips. Ju and Zen helped us book shows, taxis, recommended restaurants, coffee shops, what to do and where to go - ALL PERFECT. The hotel is SPOTLESSLY clean, modern, beautiful bathrooms, a lovely little pool for afternoon sun, nice balconies and perfectly placed just off Kamala road and beach. Everything is within 5 minutes walk. Patong is a 10-15 min taxi ride so no problem for a day/night out. I just cannot praise this hotel and the 2 hosts enough. They go above and beyond what any other owners have done for us on a holiday. If you are contemplating Kamala do not hesitate to book this hotel, you won’t regret it.

After a two-week adventure hopping around Thailand’s islands, we wrapped up our trip at Vivace Hotel before flying back home to Sweden. Let me tell you, I wasn’t initially hyped about Phuket after all the island magic, but Vivace completely changed my mind. Hands down, this was the best hotel of our entire trip! The stars of Vivace? Ju and Zen. These two are absolutely fabulous, working tirelessly every day with the biggest smiles and the warmest service. You can really feel their passion for making every guest’s stay perfect. The cleaners are amazing too and the most respectful and kind people we’ve met. We stayed in a room facing the pool, with stairs leading directly into the water. Really cool and definitely a luxury feature. The balcony was super spacious and cosy—a perfect spot to chill with a drink or just soak in the peaceful vibes. The rooms themselves are spotless with a minimalist, refreshing interior—super comfy and nothing like the over-the-top décor you often find in other Thai hotels. It’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel relaxed and calm. Location is spot on. You’re close to everything you need—7-11, restaurants, and two or three big markets just around the corner. The markets were a blast to stroll through, full of cute and odd products, and local vibes. The hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant but they serve the most amazing coffee. Zen must be a secret award winning-barista, brewing som kind of magic. Seriously the BEST coffee I had in all of Thailand. Vivace Hotel is truly a gem. If you’re heading to Phuket, don’t think twice—this place is a winner! The only downside was that we had to leave.
