Stayed one night for transit. Hotel is a bit old. Light in the lobby lift area is dim.

Super beautiful hotel. Peaceful area, near to riverside (not walkable tho). I love the colonial design and super strong jasmine fragrance from lobby to lift. The hotel was very kind to upgrade me to presidential suite, me & my friend absolutely enjoyed the stay there. One thing to point out there is no fan in the entire unit, only AC, I kinda struggled abit to sleep due to that.

Nice hotel but not the Palace Gate I thought I had booked. I know it’s the same ownership group, but having two hotels with the same name within 1km of each other is confusing. I’d change it.

Big and clean room with a nice city view, staff were very friendly and helpful. Charming building design with a very good breakfast selected. We will stay here again when we go back to Phnom Penh.

Hotel was nice and our room/suite was very spacey the only thing was the air a bit stale and dusty smells because room wasn’t being occupied for a while. Other than that it was great room and hotel location as well.

The hotel is ok, nice room. However hairs left in the shower and sink from the previous guest. Breakfast is good. No bar, you have to sit in restaurant to drink, the lobby with nice seats 5m from the restaurant they won’t let you drink there. Just stupid rules

Beautiful temple view from the room. And I love the lemongrass and ginger welcome drinks at the lobby.

Nice and quiet and not too many mainland Chinese tourists spitting and smoking everywhere.

Very nice hotel overall with a nice pool and a great breakfast. I really hope someday that the hotel management grows up and stops forcing people to pay a large deposit upon check-in. This is a redundancy, as the hotel already has your passport information and the room was already paid for. It wouldn't be bad except that when you pay by ABA, they refuse to repay you in that way upon checkout. They instead give you large, torn bills which they know that you'll be completely unable to use anywhere in Cambodia, which is of course why they wish to get rid of these bills in the first place. It's a highly sneaky and unprofessional business antic and should stop. Very unbecoming for what is otherwise a classy hotel.
