What a lovely friendly and welcoming place. Your staff and you as the hosts were wonderful from beginning to end. We all enjoyed everything about your Inn. You were both efficient accommodating and lovely people and your staff were an honour to you , they have learnt well. The food was great and we really enjoyed it. The rooms were spotless and well laid out. My friends were as delighted as I was. I am sure you are proud of your business and it shows . Thank you so much for such a wonderful time 🥰 Mark

Lovely place to stay. Staff are extremely friendly and great to chat to. Good variety of dinner options and all very well cooked - mushroom starter is brilliant. Good cooked breakfast with a decent choice of options. Beds very comfy, nice bathroom with good shower (shower over bath, no separate cubicle). Free parking in well lit, cctv covered, car park. Close to main road. Overall superb, I'm trying to find an excuse to go back!

What a beautiful little pub with accommodation and restaurant. We booked last minute and got a great deal on a twin room. For me, the place is made by it's staff and I want disappointed. Saul was very welcoming, the staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were stand out, beautifully appointed. We are there over night, good menu lots of choice and the food was gorgeous. Lamb shank, fish, ribs, plenty of choice and served piping hot. Our meal for two with a sharer starter, two big main courses, one dessert, including lots of wine and diet coke cakes to about £70 which was stunning value. I can't taste this place highly enough

We went to Little Crown spur of the moment last night. New ownership. Have been there to charity band days and Sunday lunch etc in the past and always liked it there. The restaurant area was really busy, but no-one eating in bar area(by design i suspect)which has all been made more open plan. I do prefer the bar area tbh, but we were grateful to be told we could eat, despite one member of staff on bar, serving food, cleaning tables, taking orders for food and drinks constantly!! Her name is Hannah and she was literally running around asking if everyone was happy, getting more drinks etc, all with a smile on her face! We were worn out watching her lol. What a wonderful girl to employ, worth her weight in gold! I hope she gets rewarded for working above and beyond! We both had steaks, which were cooked perfectly and the chips are always really good, so compliments to chefs too! But many thanks to Hannah, who is a star! 🤩

An absolute gem of a place, we were made to feel welcome by the owner immediately, who took us to our room and explained the history of the inn which was fascinating. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food was exceptional we had an evening meal and breakfast. We were in the twin room which was decorated to a very high standard with extremely comfortable beds and I had one of the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. We will definitely be staying here again.

Didn’t do it for me. Check in at the bar with a very friendly and helpful waitress. The room however (room 1) was poor. Cheap uncomfortable mattress , small shower and dated room with really small TV. On the plus side bottled water, blackout at night, plenty of parking and an acceptable breakfast. Also, once kitchen and bar closed, peaceful.

Good accomodation, excellent food, exceptional service. Bedrooms clean and comfy; restaurant excellent both for breakfast and dinner; good bar and outside seating area; made to feel welcome Felt like we were staying with friends.

I stayed in room 5 which was spacious with a large en suite bathroom with walk-in shower. There was great attention to detail - bed side lights as well as main lights, a blind as well as curtains at the window, shelf space and hooks in the bathroom, a heated towel rail in the bathroom, plenty of sockets for hairdryers/charging phones, big full length mirror, small bottles of water as well as the usual tea and coffee tray. Everything was spotlessly clean and with nice neutral decor. There was no noise from the bar or the road (Tuesday night). There was free off road parking and free wifi. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. My only slight disappointment was that the water pressure in the shower wasn't very strong - it was adequate, but having seen the high level finish I had expected a power shower. Overall the room was very comfortable and excellent value and I would stay again.

Lovely stay! Owners so welcoming! We came for the WWE Clash of Castle show in Cardiff! We arrived at 12 thinking we could just drop the bags and go but they let us in the room early! Brekkie was fab too!!😆
