Great property, wonderful views and love the history behind the resort. Built for the Kings coronation, it is the oldest hotel in Bhutan. Set among pine trees, wish rooms in the main building and warm log cabins with great beds! The staff are friendly, and food was decent. I would come back again.

For travellers who loves nature and heritage must stay at this 23 acre hotel over looking valley in Paro. Beautiful traditional Bhutanis cottages with modern amenities surrounded with pine trees . Big dining area which serves tasty food is worth trying . Yes… service of courteous staff was good too.

rooms were nice and big, food was good and waitstaff were very nice...Our favorite part was sitting in the courtyard and sipping wine and having a bonfire going! A memorable experience! We would stay again and recommend this hotel highly!

Very good hotel. Excellent restaurant with warm hospitality with hot food all the time. Very cooperative staff at restaurant. Good and descent atmosphere and location. Old but we'll maintained property.

We stayed at the Olathang hotel for 2 nights. I absolutely loved my stay here... Everything about the hotel is top notch.. The staff are very warm & welcoming especially at the restaurant. they even made puri sabji for me for breakfast on special request !!! We just loved our stay it. Will surely come back again.

We stayed at the Olathang cottage for 3 nights. Absolutely loved my stay. Everything about the hotel is top notch --- location, staff, warmth, hospitality and the food. The views of Paro valley from the cottage is spectacular. The cottage had all modern amenities & toiletries. The temperature was low single digits when we were there. There was adequate heating provision, including 2 room heaters in each cottage. The staff is very warm & welcoming, especially at the restaurant. They took special care of the entire family. We just loved it. Will come back again.

Comfortable, spacious rooms/cottages, staff attentive and helpful, excellent laundry service, catered for gluten free, out of main town up a steep hill, need transport, free from barking dogs. Good view of town,

I really enjoyed spending my one day quarantine at this hotel. The room was huge and very rustic (in a good way). I had amazing views over Paro from my cabin and the food was good (and great portions)! I’m a bit sad I won’t be staying here on the way back!

Really bad hotel to stay in, rooms are completely worn out. I had to quarantine in this hotel for 6 days and really bad experience. Food is also very bad, no way to connect with higher management. There was no proper connection of WIFI in the hotel. PLEASE DONT STAY IN THIS HOTEL…..
