"Like being welcomed into a private home! Beautiful people who can't do enough for us guests, to the point where two of the lads, Dawa and Sanjit even helped me dress in my traditional Gho. (Tricky.) We wish that we knew everyone's name to say how good you all are! The food's great and there's so much of it. At breakfast it's probably best to say what you DON'T want, otherwise you'll need to be carried to the lift. There's no bar in the hotel but if you want anything you can bring it in. First night at dinner I asked about wine and some beers, so Dawa went across the street to Mr Sagar's shop and got me some! Sometimes there are small misunderstandings and little delays but hey; we're welcome guests in a distant land. Be nice and go with the flow. Our room looked a bit 'tired' and the WiFi can sometimes be a bit hit and miss but the bed was great, the shower was great and the view from the balcony across the neighbourhood (chillis drying on the roofs!) to the hills, gold. There's TV too if you want. We love Nirvana Inn Paro, especially because of all of you working there. Kadrin chey la."

"Probabilmente è l’hotel migliore in cui abbiamo soggiornato nel tour del Bhutan, soprattutto per il livello del servizio e per la cena e la colazione a buffet. Difficilmente otterrebbe più di 2 o 3 pallini se fosse ad esempio in Nepal, ma per il Bhutan credo si meriti i quattro pallini. in ogni caso le camere sono ampie e confortevoli, ben riscaldate ed anche il bagno è riscaldato e con l’acqua calda. Hanno anche organizzato per noi, attraverso l’agenzia una serata con le danze locali, ben organizzata e piacevole. Qualche problema per mia moglie celiaca… pur avendoli avvisati in tutti modi… si erano dimenticati della sua allergia. In ogni caso decisamente migliore e più confortevole rispetto alla media del paese. Non è a Paro, per spostarvi avete comunque bisogno dell’auto."

"Incredibly photogenic 5-star hotel located just 20 mins from Paro Airport. Booked a junior suite for 2 nights at the end of my 10-day Bhutan trip and enjoyed every minute of it, including all the modern luxury amenities in my room alone which included an authentic Bhutanese ground coffee complete with French press! Every detail exudes class... down to the toiletries and in-room cutlery. The architecture is simply gorgeous and the main hotel building which houses the reception lobby and restaurants also has numerous comfortable seating areas overlooking the Paro valley... great for relaxing, sitting quietly or reading a book. There's also a small Buddhist temple at the top which you can visit and take pictures of - a good preview of what's to come from you Bhutan trip if this was your first stop. Food was generally very good, offering a good mix of Western dishes and an authentic Bhutanese platter... again, a good introduction if this is your first stop in Bhutan. But as I was already on my last leg of the trip I opted for the Western options including the beef burger (very good) and twice-cooked pork belly (a bit tough). Like what I had experienced for most of my trip, locals seem to still need to get the hang of cooking meat, something perhaps not widespread given the Buddhist culture. :) Otherwise, the food, including their homemade ice cream was excellent. Staff was incredibly attentive, hospitable and responsive, as one has come to expect from the very gracious Bhutanese people. If I had one feedback is that there was NO BIDET in my room which was really strange given that even the smallest 3-star guesthouse I stayed in over the course of my holiday had one. I mentioned this to one of the staff who explained that they were slowly upgrading all the rooms to have a toilet bidet, so I guess I was just unlucky I got one of the older rooms (which was still gorgeous nonetheless)! So don't forget to request for one if this is something you're expecting. Overall, a great way to pamper yourself after all the physically taxing hiking and driving through Bhutan. You can easily spend a day simply soaking up the beauty of the hotel (which I did!) and enjoying all the other FREE activities (which I didn't do as had already seen/done them all earlier in the week!)."

"Absolutely stunning location, beautiful lodge with a recently refurbished shower room which was huge. We absolutely loved it in our lodge. So peaceful, we were sad to leave. Evening buffet was good, specially prepared for the few tourists that were there. Breakfast ok, but it would have been lovely to have had more fresh fruit and curd available, we did ask and got some. Excellent Masala tea."

"Dzi Pema è un piccolo hotel sulla spiaggia di una collina a pochi passi dalla città di Paro. Ha ottima vista sul valle di Paro. La mia stanza aveva una vista diretta di Rinpung Dzong, ma non tutte le camere potrebbero avere. In ogni caso, c'è una struttura comune di gazebo con divano e libri che ha la stessa visione che ogni ospite può godere. Il personale guidato da Dechen era sempre caldo e attento. Anche la cottura del posto e l'atteggiamento degli ospiti si sono sbagliati sui clienti, e ogni volta che siamo riuniti in sala da pranzo, abbiamo avuto conversazioni amichevole, scambio di storie di dove abbiamo avuto o pianificato di visitare e di sfondi. In tutto, un soggiorno molto memorabile. Questo era il primo hotel sul mio viaggio. Li raggiungi prima del viaggio. Hanno risposto per posta elettronica e l'onorevole Tandin mi ha aiutato un po' con le regole del Bhutan e ho modificato i miei piani di conseguenza."

"We suffered through a Two-night stay in three different rooms and not one was fit for habitation! The Hotel is well outside of town and a bit of a challenging drive through the local village, construction, and narrow roads ending at an appealing wooden structure built into the side of the mountain. This is all part of the charm – The charm ends once you are checked into the room! A few hours after checking into the first room we lost heating a necessary requirement in early March. Twice that night the engineer would arrive and reset the heating, indicating another occupant had adjusted their thermostat which would shut down the heat in all four units. We awoke at 4:00 AM again with no heat and a cold room. Again, the heating was reset – Only to last less than a couple of hours. All the hotel would do is indicate there is nothing we can do except provide you with electric space heaters which did not heat the large room and apologize, “Sorry for the inconvenience” Our guide and tour company next battled on our behalf to get us another room which only happened when they threatened to move us to a different Hotel. Room number two, had central heating and heated floors. This time the opposite occurred. The bathroom floors were so hot we could not stand on them in slippers or bear feet, the heating unit just pumped out continuous heat. After leaving the exterior doors open for two hours the temperature in the room was still 29.0! The hotels solution was to spread towels out on the washroom floor so we did not burn our feet! With the help of our guide and tour operator we would move late at night to yet a third room. The third room had no issues with heating. However, my husband while sitting on the toilet turned to get paper and the toilet tipped over and he fell off unto the floor. Embarrassing, undignified and horrified do not describe what could have been an injurious incident. All the hotel would say was, “sorry for the inconvenience”. See photos of a toilet that was not attached to the pipe or the floor! Not one of the three rooms were fit for habitation & we believe the hotel was fully cognizant of this, yet greedily crossed their fingers and rented the rooms out hoping tourists would just accept the conditions for one or two nights while the hotel profited! This hotel caters to tour groups who take over the hotel – Not being part of one of the large tour groups we were left to fend for ourselves and watch the large tour groups be served cooked breakfast eggs while our order went unfilled even though ours was submitted first! Greedy ownership and a hotel not fit for habitation all the while masquerading as a four-star property! “Sorry for the inconvenience is not an acceptable response!” Shame on you Naskel – Not only have you tarnished our perception of your resort & Country, you have tarnished your good name and that of the Country of Bhutan whom you also represent!"

"Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per due notti mentre a Paro. La posizione era grande, perché si poteva facilmente camminare in città per shopping e ristoranti. "Non-existent welcome (no welcome drink, no special attention, arrived at 6:00 p.m.; no lounge or reception open, just the icy corridors and stairs!). However, very good bedding. Dogs bark at the start of the night then calm down. Good restaurant for dinner although the room is small, the dishes are good. Bathroom needs to be reviewed (unhygienic pipes and pebbles). Quite a good breakfast. Not that far from the city by car. In short, we recommend it."
