Hotel a Parkville, Australia

Let's start with what is good about this business- * New carpets in the rooms/hallways * New furniture in reception * New beds/linen/TVs/lamps in the rooms * The location is unsurpassed- walking distance to the Women's hospital AND numerous parks, Brunswicks nightlife and shopping district * The carpark is generous * The staff are pleasant But then... what's bad? * No bins in the bathroom * Not enough power points in the rooms in convenient locations ( We all have to charge devices these days) * The pool looked lovely until you realise that in mid-Summer... it's not clean * Value is poor- I understand tennis is on in Melbourne so the motels are set at a premium... but really? Mid renovations and unfinished rooms... and they feel they can put the price up??That reflects badly on the management of this location because it's opportunistic in all the wrong ways. * Rooms are not maintained during your staff- beds were not made when we returned from our day out ... and then the ugly! * The water literally wasn't on in the morning... due to the lack of presence of hot water, we had learned to turn the taps on and let it run for a few minutes... but on the second morning here it literally stopped and no water came out for about five minutes. Thinking it was safe once the water returned, I showered, only for it to stop for about 20 seconds mid shower * Water for the shower runs hot and cold... literally mid-shower * Renovations are occurring like other reviewers have noted and there is clutter in the hallways It's not a motel that one would return to in a hurry, but if they manage to make good on their renovations and revitalise the outside areas ... it has potential to be something special.

Ho avuto una splendida esperienza di soggiorno in questo luogo. La reception è pronta a servire dalle 8 alle quasi le 10 e tutti parlano inglese e mandarino. Il luogo è proprio accanto a una strada principale così conveniente per quasi tutte le destinazioni. Il parco reale e il parco principessa è a pochi minuti di distanza. In realtà sono andato a correre per due giorni. Ancora una volta, un posto molto bello. L'unico piccolo ostacolo è che se non avete una macchina e sarà limitato dal trasporto pubblico, potrebbe non sentirsi così felice, soprattutto quando piove. Le immagini sono allegate ai parchi vicini.

This is a lovely little hotel with only 10 rooms. There's a restaurant/pub below with excellent food. It closes before 10pm, so no real issue with noise there. I was given room 104 which was their largest room with a sitting area. It has no view which wasn't the real issue. The problem was a large compressor outside the window which went on and off all night which disturbed the sleep quality. I requested a change of room and the staff were happy to oblige, most politely with no questions asked. I was given one of the rooms facing the main road which was not particularly busy and so was essentially quieter. However the trams start at about 5.45am which woke me up early (luckily I had to wake up about then anyway to catch my international flight). There was some other noise at around 2am with a couple of guys talking loudly outside but that's another story ... The other problem I had is that I suffer from allergy and this bothered me during my 3 night stay. I suspect that the carpet was made from wool (which I'm allergic) to rather than feather pillows (which I'm also allergic to). But this would not be an issue for normal folk! Overall, I liked this place. Loved the boutique style. The food downstairs was delicious. Staff were polite. I chose this hotel because of the location close to the Uni.

We didn’t look to the hotel for more than just a bed for the night, so didn’t check out the other facilities. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice, and the room was set up in a modern and pleasant way. The room has most of what you need but it is very small, with very little space to even set down a suitcase. I would have preferred access to a full size ironing board rather than a desktop one.

Un hotel economico in una grande posizione. Passeggiato per uno spettacolo nella città e facile camminare lì e indietro. Parcheggio gratuito in un'area sicura, chiuso in sicurezza è stato apprezzato. Personale amichevole. Camere pulite. Pensavo sarebbe stato rumore ma non era. Rimarrei.

Service was very good but overall experience I would rate it as mediocre. The location is very convenient. The room looks quite dated. When we entered the room, i killed 2 bugs and was very worried if they were bed bugs, so called room service and they came down to attend to us right away. However, the hotel facilities were not functioning very well. For instance, the touch screen lift was not working well. Many time we scanned our room cards, it doesn't detect our floors so we ended up missing our floor and went up or down with other guests. The bath tub with spa function was so loud when turned on, you could hear them by the bed outside the toilet. All the furnishing in the room and surrounding seems very outdated. The chairs on the breakfast tables were not looking very new and quite dirty with stains and dirts.

Siamo così felici che ci hanno lasciato entrare al più presto circa le 12:00, perché c'è spazio disponibile. Abbiamo effettuato il check-out in anticipo e la ricezione ha conservato i bagagli in modo sicuro e sicuro mentre stiamo esplorando la città tutto il giorno. L'hotel è vicino al Mercato della Regina Victoria e sono così felice di prendere un po' di colazione e anche, si può acquistare i souvenir australiani efficienti. Inoltre, vicino alle stazioni di tram e treni. La stanza è pulita soprattutto il bagno.

L'unica cosa che amo su questo appartamento è la posizione. Il suo vicino a un cultico negozio di convenienza e una stazione tran proprio davanti a esso. È anche a 5 minuti a piedi dal Mercato della Regina Victoria. Tuttavia, un valore per il posto di denaro per avere un tetto sulla testa per il vostro viaggio/visita a Melbourne.

È sempre stato un soggiorno fantastico e bellissimo. Ha soggiornato molte volte dal momento che il nostro bambino più anziano ha ricevuto una diagnosi medica all'inizio del 2020, che ha portato a molte viaggi da Tasmania a Melbourne. Essere in grado di utilizzare un hotel così stupendo per queste viaggi, sia per mio marito che per il mio figlio e per me che per il custode all'ospedale Royal Children's, sia per tutti noi che per il momento che il nostro figlio non ha dovuto essere ammesso al custode. Non siamo mai stati delusi, il servizio è sempre un 10 e le viste sono sorprendenti. Guardando in attesa di fare un viaggio non medico a Melbourne in futuro e prenotare un alloggio qui sapendo che ci apprezzeremo il nostro soggiorno.

Uno dei migliori hotel in cui soggiornare e ottimi prezzi. Personale adorabile e accogliente. Posizione fantastica perché è in una strada tranquilla con un sacco di parcheggio. Aldi è accanto così comodo. I panorami della città sono bellissimi soprattutto di notte tutta illuminata. Consiglio vivamente a chiunque di soggiornare qui. Ho soggiornato qui da solo e con bambini in un paio di camere di dimensioni diverse e sono tutte accoglienti, pulite e confortevoli.
