UUtente ospiteOverall, the stay itself was comfortable, and the room met expectations. The hotel's aesthetic is elegant and beautiful, and its location is convenient, surrounded by chinese restaurants within easy walking distance. The breakfast buffet was also good and enjoyable. However, the experience was unfortunately dampened by issues at the front desk, hygiene standards in the common areas, and soundproofing. We arrived around 10am and requested an early check-in, fully understanding that the standard check-in time is 2pm and that any earlier arrangement is subject to room availability and discretion. However, we were told by staff that early check-in would only be possible with an additional charge of RM160. This created an uncomfortable impression where it felt less like a matter of room availability and more like withholding an available room in order to impose extra charges. The tone suggests monetising convenience which we weren't particularly happy about.
After checked-in around 5pm. we noticed dirty plates on the floor left near the lift area. What was more concerning was that these plates were still there in the same spot the next morning when we checked out. This raised questions about cleanliness and hygiene, especially in shared spaces. In addition, the soundproofing could be improved. Noise from children crying near the lift was clearly audible, and due to the hotel's proximity to the airport, airplane noise could also be heard. This may be a concern for light sleepers or guests seeking a quieter stay.
While the room and overall stay were generally good, these experiences affected our impression.

SSSalThe location very centrally to miri city,the reception she very helpful like to day had small incident with the Grab driver(language barrier) immediately she was ready to sort it with the professionalism and help,thank you sorry i did not get her name but the one with masked.
The cleaning everyday in the room with new towel and the best smell towel ever cross around hotels.
The in-house hotel called The Yard very handy to the customer's especially now the rainy season in Malaysia.

UUtente anonimoOne of the receptionist counter staff was rude and asked me, “bila mahu cau,” which was very disrespectful. I am a regular customer, yet I was treated poorly by her. The other receptionists were okay; she was the only issue. Because of this, I rated my experience today 2.5/5.

YykhzLa stanza era in generale pulita e con le attrezzature che dovete chiamare al custode per richiesta. La vista dall'hotel è così bello che mi ha fatto eccitare di svegliarmi la mattina. Bene per le famiglie con bambini, perché ci sono abbastanza camere per andare intorno nell'appartamento a 3 camere da letto.

MMalaysia SabahFirst of all, it's cheap for a family of 3 to stay there. Convenient location . But first impression we checked into the room is the smell from the toilet. It's very unpleasant.
Secondly, there's still hair on the floor. So cleanliness is just average.
Surprisingly, the bed and pillow is comfortable. We had good rest. The Aircond is cold too.
Hot shower is okay. Need to know how to adjust. It gets too hot, then user has to keep adjusting it in one session. Well it's personal preference I guess. It's too hot for me. Maybe not for others.

UUtente ospiteLocation is very good. Beautiful scenery from the apartment. Very strange and rigid rules. I knew 1 person from apartment was entitled to have free breakfast a day. I was given 3 breakfast coupons for 3 day stay but when I tried to have 3 persons from my family to have breakfast together for the same day, the receptionist bluntly refused. The conditions of each apartment we stayed was different. My sister had a 3 bed room unit with full utilities including dinning table and yet there was no wash basin for cups and plates. The bathroom sinks were leaking.

JJennifer YentyThe unit where we stayed is clean, have a breathtaking full view of the sea. Miss Nisa is very helpful to inform me the unit that we supposed to stay according to my booking have problem with their air-conditioning. So she change it to another unit. We really enjoy staying at Bay Resort. We can brisk walk and sight seeing. There's a lot of Chinese restaurants nearby too. Its a great experience to us as this is our first time coming and staying in Miri. This place is recommended to travellers with families who loved beaches and love to listen to the sound of the waves.

HHajidiIn realtà, questo hotel ha superato tutte le mie aspettative.
Il personale del front office era incredibilmente benvenuto e attento, facendomi sentire giusto scegliere e assicurarmi di avere tutto quello che mi serviva per un soggiorno confortevole.
La camera era pulita, accogliente e ben mantenuta. Il letto era sorprendentemente confortevole, offrendo un grande sonno notturno. Mi sono anche compiaciuto delle strutture fornite, tra cui Wi-Fi veloce, TV a schermo piatto e bagni da bagno.
L'hotel è situato in una posizione ideale, convenientemente situato vicino alle attrazioni locali e il trasporto pubblico è facile da chiamare.
In generale, consiglierei molto a chiunque cercasse un'esperienza eccezionale di grande valore. Sono ansioso di tornare alla mia prossima visita!

AA mahmudQuesta è la mia seconda visita al Pacific Orient. Come si prevede, è bella e pulita. Controlla e controlla è veloce e facile. Ho avuto la mia stanza di fronte all'edificio del centro commerciale Bintang e era fantastico. Qui, il parcheggio è limitato. Quindi chi vuole parcheggiare la loro auto, meglio venire presto o prenotare presto.Il colazione mattinale era semplice. Non molto possono offrire.Dopo tutto, non si aspetta troppo, dato che le tariffe delle camere offerte erano inferiori a 100 ringgit.
Sicuramente rimarrà qui se avesse la possibilità di visitare Miri.
