UUtente ospiteI want to thank hosts of Akari no yado personally. The hosts were nice and worked really hard to feel ourselves at home. The place was clean and the common room was big and comfortable. Bathroom was old fashioned but if you want modern bathrooms you were able to use the bath house for showers and toilets in the common area. Breakfast is made of pastries and all I had was pretty delicious. You can also have marmalade and margarine with breakfast pastries and there are drinks (tea/coffee/milk/juice) to choose from. We checked out early and hosts prepared our breakfast to go even if it wasn’t breakfast time yet. They even drove us to the station when we asked if they would be able to call us a taxi!
Bath house was spacious with two different baths. System is easy and we were able to use it whenever we wanted (between 16.00-23.00 of course). They are giving free rental yukatas and they were so comfy. They also have guides everywhere to help you (our room even had a guide on how to prepare a futon bed!) the place felt like we were part of a family and that was the most amazing part for me. I even got teary eyed when it was time to go. Thank you Akari no yado! Hope to see you soon again!

Rresolute_55Situato a Kinugawa, la posizione è piuttosto remota, quindi è consigliabile viaggiare in auto. Tuttavia, l'atteggiamento del servizio è buono e il prezzo è abbordabile. C'è anche una sorgente termale all'aperto dove puoi immergerti nella sorgente termale mentre ti godi la vista del fiume Kinugawa. UUtente anonimoEnjoyable stay at yutorelo nikko, which was conveniently located near lake chuzenji. Room was big and had a nice view of the lake. Hotel onsen was very legit and nice especially when the night was cold. There is free sake and alcohol in the lounge. Breakfast was a delicious set meal with drinks available. Hotel is walkable distance to kegon falls. Would recommend :)

MMargaret TomAmo la zona e i bagni pubblici all'aperto. I pasti erano buoni. Mio marito si lamentava che non c'era carne ma mi piacevano tutti i piatti vegetariani forniti. Era molto buono. Ci sono un piccolo pesce fritto e poche tazze sashimi. Mio marito ha il prezzo del cibo per essere 3/10 mentre lo tengo 5/10 perché sono sorpreso di come fanno i piatti vegetariani così bene.
Non serveno pesce per colazione che è molto diverso da altri ryokan che avevamo fatto. Aveva più verdure e un uovo per colazione.
Il ryokan ha un servizio di trasporto aereo gratuito per prendere e scendere per coincidere con le ore di autobus, molto conveniente, responsabile e tempestivo.

UUtente ospiteHo avuto un fantastico soggiorno all'hotel! Il personale era incredibilmente amichevole e attento, rendendomi benvenuto. La stanza era pulita e confortevole, con vista stupenda. Le strutture, tra cui la primavera calda e il ristorante, erano di prima vista. Raccomando molto questo hotel per una via di relax!

JJ. SimonThe hotel is around 10mins walk from Kinugawa-Onsen Station. Although there are many abandoned hotels, shops, residences, buildings around the surrounding area, I can still explore the area as the street lights are lit in the evening.
The hotel is divided into different wings and occupies a large area. I stayed in the upper floors of the hotel’s main building (Kirakukan) but there’s an option to stay at the hotel’s park-cottages that is built on the cliff of the riverbank and overlooks the Kinugawa river.
The Kinugawa Park Cottage is located separately further away from the main building.
I only noticed a local Japanese family of four or five persons being escorted by the hotel staff to one of the cottages.
Other than that one-off encounter, I didn’t see anyone else at the area around the cottage which is also super quiet.
Likewise for the other wings of the hotel i.e. Kinoyakata and Kishintei, I didn’t see any guests maybe due to low season.
Love the onsen and the private open-air bath, the traditional Japanese kaiseiki breakfast and dinner.
There’s also a souvenir shop, ramen & snack shop as well as an outdoor swimming pool which I couldn’t use as it is only available for use come summer time.
Just across the road from the hotel, there’s the Waterside Cafe Terrace, a 7-Eleven convenience store adjacent to the hotel and since there’s no self-service washing machine/dryer in the hotel, the nearest 24h laundromat is around a 5-min walk from the hotel located behind the Waterside Cafe Terrace and across the road facing “Galarie Cafe Painto E”.
On the day of check-out, the hotel helped to store my luggage and I had lunch at “Suzukawa Cafe” just next to Galarie Cafe Painto E. The food prices here are slightly cheaper than the ones near Kinugawa-Onsen station.

UUtente ospiteI don’t understand why someone would leave a negative review due to their own negligence. Trip.com clearly mentioned the additional 300-yen tax (I assume this is the onsen tax) per person, yet they still claimed they were “scammed.”
My overall experience at Hotel Euro City was wonderful. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, and the shuttle bus service was amazing. If you want to get to the hotel easily, check the shuttle schedule on the hotel’s homepage so you don’t have to walk from the station. They run it every day at 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 15:15, 16:15, 17:15, and 18:15 from “Nikko Station Hotel Classic,” right next to JR Nikko Station.
The room was spacious and comfortable, and the onsen in the backyard was great. It’s true that the room had a mild smell, but I assume it was due to recent pest control (it smelled like pesticide). Just open the windows for a while and it goes away.
Breakfast was okay—not as fancy as in the advertisements, maybe because it wasn’t peak season. Overall, I think this is a very good choice, especially if you’re traveling with family.

私のホテル・ユーロシティでの滞在はとても快適でした。スタッフの皆さんはとても親切で、シャトルバスのサービスも素晴らしかったです。駅から歩きたくない場合は、ホテルのホームページでシャトルバスの時刻を確認すると良いと思います。毎日、JR日光駅のすぐ隣にある「日光ステーションホテルクラシック」から 9:00／9:30／10:00／15:15／16:15／17:15／18:15 に運行しています。
部屋は広くて快適で、裏庭にある温泉もとても良かったです。確かに部屋には少し匂いがありましたが、おそらく害虫駆除をした後の匂い（殺虫剤のような匂い）だと思います。窓を開けてしばらく換気すればなくなります。
朝食は普通で、広告ほど豪華ではありませんでしたが、ハイシーズンではなかったためかもしれません。全体的に、特に家族連れの方にはとても良い選択だと思います。

小小八哥La posizione dell'hotel non è molto conveniente per il bus oltre ai passeggeri.Il tipo di camera prenotato è solo fumatore, e l'aroma di fumo è molto dolce per arrivare alla stanza.La fornitura di cibo è molto buona e sorpresa.La piscina calda è buona. Questo hotel deve davvero migliorare la qualità dell'igiene. L'indirizzo è nero e la stanza dovrebbe essere cambiata in fumo.Ma il rapporto di prezzo è molto alto, soprattutto con Trip.com preferenze e supporti
