Hotel con parcheggio a Distretto di Thiruvananthapuram

I was weary about booking as the website photos looked quite tired. All of the photos are really old - it was an amazing stay and so much better than I expected. I enjoyed the complementary pottery making and the tea cart in the afternoons. The food à la carte was absolutely delicious. I avoided the buffet a bit as I do in all hotels. The pool is clean and there is excellent service, with staff helping you with towels, umbrellas, and drinks. The rooms are really pretty. Good air con. The gym is good and has air con although the air con is not as powerful as in the bedrooms. The gym has two treadmills, a static bike, basic leg press, weight rack and bench, and some of the arm/shoulder machines too. There were only a few downsides. 1) The beach that it backs onto is actually quite gross (there was nappy in the sand and gunk that looked like sewage), but it’s easy to avoid this. 2) The beach has a real drop from the sand into sea so it’s not very safe to swim in unless you want to be smacked against the bank. These two things don’t matter though as the hotel is lovely and there is enough to do that you don’t need to go on the beach. 3) I booked 2 nights in one booking and 1 night in another booking. I asked when I booked the single, third night, whether I can keep the same room. They said they’d let me know at check in.  They didn’t let me know at check in. They said they’d tell me on the second day in the day, but nothing. I kept asking at reception and I called them on the phone twice, and they kept saying they’d call me back. It was 9.30pm on the night before I’d have to move rooms before they told me I could stay. I’m not really sure why it took so long or they messed me around on this as 3 of my exact rooms were available on the website for those nights, so by that logic it would not have been a problem!

Items were frequently forgotten, and follow-ups became necessary more often than expected. The Concerning: We requested a late checkout until 1:00 PM. The front desk approved only a 30-minute extension, yet our bill reflected a 2-hour late checkout. This discrepancy requires immediate attention from management. Recommendations: The property would benefit from comprehensive staff retraining to align service quality with the excellent facilities. Additionally, rooms and common areas could use renovation to maintain the overall standard. Bottom Line: The facilities make this hotel worth considering, but the management team needs to invest in service training and operational consistency. With these improvements, O by Tamara could easily become a standout property. I remain hopeful that management will address these concerns promptly. Thats all!!

The hotel is centrally located , it is near to railway station, bus terminus and all major temples. It has spacious parking, The staff are very helpful. The rooms are neat and clean. The food in the restaurant is good & tasty. It is a good place for a family to stay. Camere spaziali. Bellissima staffa. Belli giardini. Piscina pulita. In realtà è uno dei tre hotel adiacenti e gli ospiti possono utilizzare piscina, ristoranti, yoga, meditazione ecc in qualsiasi dei tre durante il loro soggiorno. L'accesso alla spiaggia è attraverso le scale o l'ascensore, poi 100 m a piedi sulla sabbia. Gli ospiti sono principalmente d'Europa e soggiornano per i programmi di trattamento ayurvedic - che devono essere buoni, dato che ci sono stati molti ospiti di ritorno annuale. Tuttavia, se non siete in un programma, questa è una scelta costosa per questo settore. Gruppo yoga €20 per classe se non in un programma (che è un po 'molto). Si consiglia di rimanere qui se si cerca un pacchetto di trattamento di lusso ayurvedic.

Шикарное расположение отеля, номер брали в главном корпусе. Красивая и ухоженная территория, персонал приветлив, всегда интересовались нашими пожеланиями. Бассейн небольшой, но у номеров с видом на сад и клубных есть свои бассейны, поэтому людей было мало, спокойно можно было разместиться на лежаках. Не понравились навязчивые таксисты у въезда в отель. Вызвали убер, так они не дали водителю нас забрать! Пришлось подняться чуть выше (в сторону отеля Гоколам) и только там мы смогли сесть в машину. Очень неприятно, а для отеля такого класса не понятно почему разрешают стоянку такси, почувствовали себя не в безопасности! Имейте ввиду, если будете пользоваться убером, что на территорию отеля водитель заехать не сможет и даже к воротам, нужно пройти выше по дороге, только там можно будет сесть в машину, минуя эту мафию таксистов.

Overall, I am happy to stay here throughout this one week simply because all the staff are super friendly. Greetings to me every day and smile all the time. Only some personal comments regarding the hotel access card, no disturb/ clean my room card are not 5 star hotel standard. Most importantly is the hygiene issues need some effort or improvement. The drinking water cap is dirty, the cup is dirty, the wall gets mouldy, etc. Most of the food in the restaurant is not available. Advice to simplify the menu. Gym facilities are old, some already spoiled and not fixing yet. No towel provided.

Questo hotel non è certamente una proprietà 4-star come si afferma di essere. Le camere sono sicuramente pulite e comode, ma i positivi finiscono lì. Il servizio è assolutamente abominabile. Ho ordinato un caffè, ma non l'hanno servito nemmeno in un'ora, nonostante le avesse ricordate due volte.Una volta dopo aver fatto la doccia, l'acqua scorreva sotto la porta a dormire. Non c'era nessun buffet e c'erano solo due opzioni - Puri sabzi o tosta! Non avevano nemmeno tè o caffè pronto. Dopo qualche ricordo, finalmente portarono il caffè. L'ho messo a terra con un tostapane e mi sono spedito a controllare. Opt per questo hotel se lo ottiene a buon mercato, ma non essere delusi che avrai un'esperienza 4-star!

Location was good but it looks like the hotel gives you sub standard rooms if you book through mmt, the bed had very rough bedsheet, broken washroom soap holder, broken fan regulator, all that could have been done before the guest could check in.

We were in Kovalam at this property for a week. First things first, the rooms we got were nice, had a decent balcony overlooking the front of the property, the air conditioning and hot water worked well. It is really close to a wonderful beach, some small shops and local food joints and only a short walk away from a quiet beach and spots that you could enjoy. The property itself had a lot of work going on, so I can understand that they were preparing for a major tourist season and it might become better. The pool was dry and I was hoping that I'd get to enjoy some pool time but that did not happen. Perhaps due to the low tourist season, the restaurant had limited dish choices but the food was good. The staff is very sweet and nice but the hotel can do with some more thorough upgrades with housekeeping, such as providing fresh towels timely and so on. Otherwise, the hotel is nice but my family and I felt that for the price we paid, we could have gotten more for the price. Nevertheless, it is a good and decent hotel, I wouldn't keep high expectations. It will certainly get 10/10 for it's location and sweet staff. This is not to reflect on the hotel management or staff directly or negatively but it would be nice if they set ground rules for some big tourist groups they get, particularly the Gujarati tour groups, in reminding them of maintaining the calm and quiet on the property. Again, it is more about the tourist behavior than anything on the hotel itself.

The hotel’s cleanliness was satisfactory, but the food left much to be desired. Not only was it of poor quality, but it was also outrageously overpriced. The breakfast selection was shockingly limited. I didn’t use room service, so i can’t speak to that. The room itself was decent, but there were glaring issues: the wash basin in the toilet is mounted far too low, making it an awkward struggle for taller guests. Worse yet, the closet seat cover was improperly installed, adding to the discomfort. When i requested a slightly later checkout, the front office manager bluntly refused, citing that since i booked, no flexibility was allowed. As a result, i had to pack up and leave by 9:30 am, which was completely inconvenient. I won’t be staying here again, and i certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a decent experience.
