AAlyseFirst let me say that the owners were incredibly kind and accommodating. It pains me that to even write this but I thought fellow travelers should hear my experience. First, there are two aye stays in Inverness. My gps took me to the wrong one first. That was awkward. After I finally figured it out, the place was very cutely decorated with Scottish and Loch Ness decor. Contactless check in was easy however a board with everyone’s name and room numbers does not feel super safe for me a solo female traveler. But over all easy enough. Next I stayed in room 7 which is up a flight of stairs so make sure you pack light! (Which you should do anyway in Scotland.) My room had just been renovated with new carpet but it smelled like off gassing and I had to open the window (which was broken) there was a radiator for heat which I had no idea how to use. So it got a little chilly. Now here comes the problems: the rooms are very close together and the walls are paper thin. I was kept up until 3 in the morning hearing conversations and snoring. We were only given the choice of receiving breakfast between 7:30-8:30 in the dining room. So I woke up earlier than I would have liked to eat breakfast. Which was just okay. Nothing too outstanding to write about but again the hostess was very sweet. Overall I could see that they’re trying their best. But I would recommend sound machines in each of the rooms or something so people can have a good nights sleep. The location was pretty good and just over the bridge from the high street.

UUtente ospiteExcellent hostel! Great common self-catering facilities; there were two full kitchens with plenty of tables and seating so multiple parties could be cooking at a time. Staff were very helpful and let me leave my bag before check-in and after check-out to accommodate my bus times.
The room (4-bunk female dorm) was very spacious so plenty of room for sorting through my bags. Bunk was large and included a USB plug and power outlet there. Room had large attached shower and toilet rooms.

UukmingLa stanza è molto pulita e più comoda, cioè senza aria condizionata, a volte è un po' calda.La temperatura della stanza è diversa, si può chiedere alla reception.Ma non c'è problema di vivere.

2205528****在高地的行程中選擇了尼斯湖附近的酒店，入住時下着毛毛細雨天色漸暗，司機按照導航差點開到了隔壁民居，看似也不是第一次碰到，友情地告訴我們去酒店的方向。在黑暗的小道上很快看到燈光，英式鄉村別墅映入眼簾，酒店前台不大，前廳的壁爐的火燒得通紅，暖暖的一掃陰霾。房間是主樓邊單獨的一幢農舍，踏着沙沙的石子小路，打開房門，燈火通明房間温度也是暖暖的，好似回到家裡。
清晨推開門，清新空氣撲面而來，晨曦霞光萬道，看着遠處翠綠的山，一切都是靜謐的。早餐一定是英式風格，單點一份現做的英式鄉村全餐或者班尼迪克都是不錯的選擇。不夠可以再來點自助的餐點。或羊角麪包或芝士或水果。衹是遊客總是那麼的匆忙，吃完早餐又在路上了～

UUtente ospiteEvening event dinner was at best poor. Starter which should have been hot was cold, main course just warm, the desert had run out by the time our table was served.
The hotel toilets were in need of an attendant checking regularly .
We ended up laughing about it with references to faulty towers.
However our room was beautiful, clean, well presented, the bed was very comfortable. We had a great night sleep.
At breckfast the arm of my chair was loose and lifted up when I would go to move my chair in/out from the table. When I was looking around the continental breckfast counter I could hear a male member of the kitchen staff shouting and swearing using the F word, not at all what I expected from any Hotel.
Lasting impression I would not rush back.

LLishBWe arrived later afternoon Andy received us with biscuits what a warm welcome. It has a homely feel with old school locking key, had a fish supper which compliments to the chef Peter was fabulous, great dinner atmosphere with other guests at restaurant and bar/lounge.
Spacious clean room, quality linen and warm enough one minus next door guy snored through our walls (not hotel's fault).
The hot breakfast was served to order which is fab as it gets to you hot and fresh also avoiding waste and dry dull food. So keep it up guys. And keep getting everyone up early enough.

UUtente ospiteThe location is quite good — only around 20 minutes by car from Loch Ness town. Our cabin was the one all the way at the top, overlooking the sheep and cow farms ahead, with a small water stream running beside it, which made the whole place feel really peaceful and relaxing.
The cabin itself was spacious, cosy, and clean. However, there are no amenities provided, so make sure to bring everything you may need, such as shower gel, shampoo, etc. There is also only one small towel provided per person, so I’d recommend bringing your own if you have space in your luggage.
There is no WiFi, but we did have 4G signal throughout our stay, which was helpful.
The shower was excellent, with different settings and perfect water temperature. Just keep in mind that the hot water does run out, and it takes a few hours to heat up again.
The only downside for us was the bed, which was not the most comfortable as it sank in the middle.
