JJessicaOur flight is cancelled in the midnight so we had to stay near the airport for an extra day. Hotel staff are helpful and friendly. Room is spacious and the breakfast is good. However unlike other IHG hotels, they do not provide bottled water, toothbrush and slippers complimentarily to customers, you have to bring your own.

SSteve 1957Check in a bit slow, we booked room with queen bed and sofa bed (for our 9y.o daughter). Upon check-in, attitude was you only booked for 2 people and were “put out” when asked to prepare sofa bed ASAP (just off a 10.5hr flight). Eventually sofa bed was set up (again by a guy with bad attitude). Plenty of choice of hotels around Heathrow so I will use a different hotel next time. This is not typical of service I am used to from Holiday Inn group.

AAmbaRoOttima posizione, proprio fuori dalla stazione della metropolitana. La camera era pulita e accogliente, il personale disponibile, visto che abbiamo lasciato i bagagli prima del previsto per poi tornare per il check-in più tardi quella sera, dopo la partita di calcio. In generale, il bagno della reception al piano inferiore era sporco e rotto e la moquette del corridoio sembrava aver bisogno di una pulizia profonda. A parte questo, per un Premier Inn andava bene.

UUtente ospiteThis is the second time I’ve stayed at the Radisson Red in the past month due to flying from Heathrow. It is also the second time that checking in was chaotic, with the self check in computers not working and this not being resolved with increased or quicker staff. Moreover, the staff have a habit of not making eye contact with you, not acknowledging you, not really managing the chaos or reassuring properly. In the end, I waited in a queue for around half an hour to check in. People are naturally tired when they get to an airport hotel- the staff need to show some awareness of that. Then in the morning, I asked when the next shuttle to heathrow was and was informed, 2 minutes. I waited for 25 minutes and no bus. I went back to reception to ask what was going on and was told ‘it’s heathrow that run the bus, not us.’ It was yet more unhelpful at tidied and an unwillingness to be at all accountable.

UUtente ospiteL'ambiente è buono e il prezzo è conveniente. La fermata dell'autobus da e per i terminal T2/T3 dell'aeroporto è proprio accanto all'hotel, il che è molto comodo. Ma gli hotel a Londra non sembrano accettare contanti, solo carte di credito. Ricordatevi di portare una carta di credito Visa, UnionPay è difficile da usare.

The room is best so far I stayed in London for 4 difficult hotel. Towels are very clean. Large TV, soft bed but extremely comfortable.
The bus stop just outside of hotel near all the hotels in bath room (I think it is the closest stop compare to all other hotels)
I didn’t have chance to try the restaurant but people are just so nice.

UUtente ospiteThe room was large, bed fairly comfortable but not for the price being charged. I never got to the pool or gym as I’d planned to do but that was the main reason I booked. The shuttle service is a bit annoying that you have to pay and there are only set pick up and drop off times, so if you want to catch a different bus (which I did) to the nearby Renaissance hotel then that one is more frequent and only a short walk away from this hotel. The shuttle price isn’t expensive through, at around 6£ each way, it was useful. Breakfast options were decent with enough choice for a vegetarian, but nothing to write home about and I opted not to pay the 16£ for the second day I was there. Overall it was decent, but cleanliness of room needed help. I asked the cleaner if she could hoover the room as when I arrived there were bits all over the floor, she did in front of me and her technique was great, she did a wonderful job but when she left there were still things all over the floor so it was obvious it was the tool (the hoover needs to be updated). The staff were kind and obviously hard workers, good customer service, they just need more support from management or corporate to update their capabilities like with new hoovers. The chair also had “something” on it, so I general it would be good if staff had access to better cleaning tools to steam out stains on furniture and curtains. I’d probably stay again if it was a bit less expensive or if these issues get sorted.
