UUtente ospiteOur stay at the Floral Hotel in Wuyuan was lovely and unforgettable . The family that owns and manages the homestay is extremely kind and attentive. As Europeans, we were very disoriented and had lots of requests and doubts. Lily, the daughter of the family, who speaks English, helped us in any possible way and never made us feel as if we were being difficult. Her mother cooks meals with ingredients straight out of her garden and with locally farmed meat. Thanks to her, we tasted the delicious wuyuan cuisine, with homemade recipes that are far from the stereotypical dishes we eat in Europe.
I can’t stress enough how beautiful the Homestay is. It is located in a small village which might not be a ticketed scenic area, but it’s extremely charming and authentic. You wake up and walk by the river where women are washing clothes by hand in the water. The village feels frozen in time. The house was built by the family’s grandfather, and is the most exquisite building we have seen throughout our trip in China. Beautifully preserved, and every corner is decorated with taste and attentiveness, even the lighting in the room is carefully curated. We stayed in December, and if you are travelling in winter we recommend the smaller room upstairs. It gets much warmer than the bigger room on the ground floor. The room is a real gem, the bed is very comfortable and the small windows overlook the characteristic roofs of the village. We will always cherish our time spent here, and we will recommend the Homestay to all our friends who will visit China, I’d say it is worth coming to Wuyuan just to stay here.

UUtente ospiteThis was the second homestay we stayed at during our Jiangxi tour, and we were truly impressed by its smart home features and Muji-style design. A big thank you to the lady owner for her warm hospitality and generosity—she even gave us a free room upgrade so I could take better care of my elderly dad.
From the moment we arrived, she greeted us warmly and helped carry our luggage to our room. Not only that, but she also personally guided us to Wunuzhou, which is just a five-minute walk from the homestay—a very convenient location. After our visit, she kindly offered us a free car ride back since the weather was extremely cold.
The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Afterward, the lady owner recommended a sightseeing spot, and the boss himself drove us to Moon Bay. Later, he even took us to buy some souvenirs, all free of charge.
We had read great reviews about the homestay’s food, so we decided to book lunch there—and it exceeded our expectations! The home-style cooking was absolutely delicious, and we loved the cozy, authentic flavors.
Our children especially loved the smart home features and didn’t want to leave! But unfortunately, we had to continue our journey to the next destination.
Overall, this homestay provided exceptional hospitality, thoughtful service, and a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended!
这里是我们江西之行入住的第二家民宿，我们对它的智能家居和MUJI风设计感到惊喜！非常感谢女主人热情好客，她还免费为我们升级了房间，让我能更方便地照顾年迈的父亲。
抵达时，女主人亲自迎接我们，并帮忙搬运行李到房间。她还亲自带我们去婺女洲，步行只需五分钟，地理位置非常方便。游玩回来后，天气寒冷，她还贴心地开车免费接我们回民宿，十分周到。
第二天的早餐非常美味。用餐后，女主人推荐了一个景点，老板还亲自送我们去月亮湾游玩。之后，他还特地带我们去买特产，全程免费接送，服务非常贴心。
我们在点评中看到很多人推荐这里的家常菜，于是决定预订午餐，果然没有让我们失望！味道非常棒，远超我们的期待，家常风味让人倍感温馨。
孩子们特别喜欢民宿的智能家居，玩得不亦乐乎，甚至舍不得离开！可惜我们还要继续行程，只能依依不舍地告别。
整体来说，这家民宿的服务非常周到，给我们带来了难忘的体验，强烈推荐！

WWHUSalve. Siamo una coppia olandese e stiamo trascorrendo la terza settimana della nostra vacanza in Cina a Huangling. Avevamo programmato di trascorrere solo una notte a Huangling, ma ci siamo trovati così bene che abbiamo prolungato il soggiorno di una notte in più.
Il B&B si trova in cima alla montagna e la nostra camera era all'ultimo piano. I corridoi di ogni piano e la camera stessa sono arredati con gusto, con attenzione ai dettagli. La camera è completamente attrezzata. Tutto appare in ordine e pulitissimo. La porta accanto dà accesso a una terrazza panoramica con lavanderia e cavi per stendere i panni.
La proprietaria (la signora Zhan) ci ha accolto calorosamente ed è scesa dalla montagna per venirci a prendere, dato che il tassista non poteva salire oltre. Sebbene avessimo prenotato la camera Tatami, ci ha suggerito di spostarci nella camera accanto. Quella ha un balcone. Abbiamo accettato volentieri il suo consiglio.
Dopo esserci rinfrescati in camera, ci ha mostrato il sentiero che sale sulla montagna e conduce all'ingresso. Ci ha detto di contattarla via WeChat a fine serata, così da poterci riaccompagnare in hotel.
La mattina dopo ci ha accompagnato giù dalla montagna per fare colazione vicino alla stazione degli autobus. Da lì avremmo potuto facilmente prendere l'autobus per un altro splendido villaggio antico nei dintorni, Likeng.
Il capo ci ha lasciato e ci ha augurato una buona giornata. Non sapevamo che mentre mangiavamo sarebbe tornato al B&B e sarebbe sceso di nuovo per portarci un ombrello per ripararci dalla pioggia o dal sole. Non glielo avevamo chiesto. Abbiamo apprezzato molto questo gesto gentile e cortese.
Il primo giorno ci siamo divertiti molto nel villaggio di Huangling. Il secondo giorno lo abbiamo trascorso nel villaggio di Likeng. L'atmosfera a Likeng era molto rilassante. Sembrava davvero autentica e le persone qui sono molto amichevoli e accoglienti.

UUtente ospiteWhen we arrived in Huangling we called the hotel and within minutes the owner arrived (husband) to show us to the hotel (follow him if you are driving) which is just a 1 min drive away from the B cable car (use this cable car to go to the top - the A cablecar only goes to halfway up). He also took our luggage up to the 4th floor.
The room was a good size, very clean and in excellent condition and had the usual amenities. Here are my ratings for the usual important provisions :
Cleanliness (bed, sheets, room, bathroom) : ‘A’ everything was very clean and new
Hot Water : ‘A’ (as much as you want, very clean and hot)
Breakfast : Bento style. It was OK though for Chinese tastes rather than Westerners.
Friendliness : ‘A++’ the husband and wife owners were so lovely and kind. They were very helpful and friendly and very generous, even providing us with a small food gift when checking out.
Location : ‘A’ it is just a 1 mins drive, or 5 mins walk, from the B cable car (the best one) !
Services : ‘A’ when we wanted to visit different places in the area / or get picked up to return to the hotel, the husband was just a call away - even when his car had a flat tyre he found another means of transport to collect us !
We really enjoyed staying at this hotel and I have no hesitation in recommending it. We will stay there again when we next visit Huangling !

UUtente anonimoLa signorina ha visto che avevamo due bambini e ci ha spostato gratuitamente nella stanza ”Picking the Stars” Ai bambini è piaciuto molto e si sono divertiti molto nella stanza e nella hall al primo piano. Oltre alle sue eccezionali discipline umanistiche e alla sua storia, il villaggio di Sixiyan ha anche un'atmosfera di vita speciale: esci dalla famiglia la mattina presto, fai una passeggiata sulla strada di campagna, ascolta il suono dell'acqua e osserva i contadini amici che lavorano presto nelle risaie e sotto il ponte di pietra Lavare e lavare i panni... Le nuvole rotolano e le nuvole si rilassano, l'alba e il tramonto, la vita nel piccolo villaggio è molto struggente.

HhumblezThe hotel staff were sweet and helpful. They offered a tea service for guests, which was such a lovely touch. The hotel owner used to run a tea factory before opening the hotel, so the tea they serve is their own in-house production. When they served it, it wasn’t just a cup of tea handed to us, but they led us to the seating area, sat down, and prepared the tea right there for us. We could slowly sip and savor it until the flavor faded. If you come here, you can enjoy it as soon as you arrive or later (we arrived in the afternoon but saved it for the next morning).
Another thing that really impressed me was the room, which was much nicer than I expected from the pictures. I was traveling with older family member, and they absolutely loved the room. It felt spacious and cozy thanks to its design and layout. At first, I thought we might have been upgraded, but it didn’t seem so—this was the original room I had booked.
The hotel grounds are also quite spacious. Some of the buildings are designed with traditional Chinese architecture, and there’s a garden on a hillside at the back that took us around 30 minutes to walk through.
As for the breakfast, it was decent—plenty of food, though the variety was fairly standard. Still, I’ve got to say this again—the tea served at the hotel was great. They even gave us a box of tea leaves when we checked out!
If you’re coming from the train station, it’s easy to reach the hotel by bus. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and routes 2, 3, and 520 pass by. However, buses stop running fairly early, with the last ones around 5–6 PM. Conveniently, the bus stop has a QR code you can scan to track the buses in real time.

NNasHanVery charming landscape of the property so we enjoyed taking lots of pictures there. Unfortunately, it was heavy rain on the night we stayed plus the day after so we didn’t go out to Wuyuan Huanglin as planned. We liked the food there a lot, the cooks are so nice and kind. Also they dropped us to Wuyuan Train Station. Hope to return on a sunny day.

WWHUThis is our third week travelling through China. Our stay at Wuli Shanshui Wenquan Dujia Jiudian. Mentioning the full name of this hotel pretty much gives you a full description of what you will likely experience. A lot of good value for money!
The hotel is situated at the bank of a river and behind the river you will see beautiful forested hills. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon you will hear the birds singing.
Your stay in this hotel comes with free entrance tickets to the hotpools, each with its own theme. You have the Danggui, the Red Wine, the Green Oasis, the Milk and Red Vinegar pools. We spent about 10 minutes in each of them. Relax, take time to have the body adjust to the temperature. I sat on the side with only my legs and hands under water. Later I let my body slide into the water fully. That night I slept like a baby and this morning I had a smooth soft skin, like a baby 😁
The rooms are fully equipped with all necessities and the reception was very helpful. We got a fruit basket as a welcoming gift.
Unfortunately there was no restaurant service but the reception helped us to order in lunch and dinner from a nearby restaurant. All we had to do was to pick from the menu and send the order to the reception via Wechat. For a modest fee our lunch, dinner and cold beers were delivered to our room 👍
The breakfast buffet offered great variety with fresh Ginseng fruit and mini tomatoes.
We liked it here so much that we booked a second night.
There is so much to explore in the neighbourhood with the beautiful old villages of Likeng and Wangkou nearby.
