UUtente ospiteIn sintesi, questa è un'ottima opzione per una guesthouse boutique. Le guesthouse raramente arrivano in cima alle pagine delle recensioni, ma le recensioni erano impeccabili, quindi ho deciso di provarla.
Servizi: È una casa centenaria. A dicembre faceva freddo, ma l'acqua calda non era eccezionale, il che era l'unico inconveniente. Tuttavia, considerando la difficoltà di drenaggio negli edifici antichi, dovremmo essere comprensivi. La scarsa insonorizzazione è inevitabile, ma onestamente, questo è un problema comune per le strutture sotto i 1000 RMB. Pulizia: Molto pulito, nessun segno di degrado, una ristrutturazione accogliente e invitante.
Ambiente: Adagiato contro le montagne e vicino all'acqua, con fiori selvatici in fiore. L'unico inconveniente è il breve terrapieno fuori dalla guesthouse.
Servizio: Eccellente. Il proprietario è stato molto disponibile e ci ha persino preparato la colazione da soli, niente cibo precotto. Abbiamo potuto provare i panini al vapore, i noodles di riso e le torte Qingming, specialità di Wuyuan. Servizio di prelievo dalla stazione ferroviaria ad alta velocità: hanno chiamato in modo proattivo, molto disponibili.

MMafan198La stazione ferroviaria del capo è conveniente per la spedizione, l'alloggio dell'hotel è ben igienico, il servizio è entusiasta, la colazione è molto deliziosa, andare ai punti di attrazione per aiutare a contattare la macchina, i punti di attrazione di Liu Yuan non sono lontani. Il giardino del capo è molto bello. La porta della casa non è lontana da una tattica, il flusso d'acqua è bellissimo

YYk LamThe guesthouse owner was very helpful. He came to fetch us from the taxi drop-off point at the main road upon our arrival. The guesthouse was very well designed and the room was spacious even for a family. The owner led us to the back entrance to Wuyuan's Huang Ling tourist attraction spot via a shortcut. It's a very memorable stay in this cosy guesthouse.

UUtente ospiteWhen we arrived in Huangling we called the hotel and within minutes the owner arrived (husband) to show us to the hotel (follow him if you are driving) which is just a 1 min drive away from the B cable car (use this cable car to go to the top - the A cablecar only goes to halfway up). He also took our luggage up to the 4th floor.
The room was a good size, very clean and in excellent condition and had the usual amenities. Here are my ratings for the usual important provisions :
Cleanliness (bed, sheets, room, bathroom) : ‘A’ everything was very clean and new
Hot Water : ‘A’ (as much as you want, very clean and hot)
Breakfast : Bento style. It was OK though for Chinese tastes rather than Westerners.
Friendliness : ‘A++’ the husband and wife owners were so lovely and kind. They were very helpful and friendly and very generous, even providing us with a small food gift when checking out.
Location : ‘A’ it is just a 1 mins drive, or 5 mins walk, from the B cable car (the best one) !
Services : ‘A’ when we wanted to visit different places in the area / or get picked up to return to the hotel, the husband was just a call away - even when his car had a flat tyre he found another means of transport to collect us !
We really enjoyed staying at this hotel and I have no hesitation in recommending it. We will stay there again when we next visit Huangling !

UUtente anonimoLa signorina ha visto che avevamo due bambini e ci ha spostato gratuitamente nella stanza ”Picking the Stars” Ai bambini è piaciuto molto e si sono divertiti molto nella stanza e nella hall al primo piano. Oltre alle sue eccezionali discipline umanistiche e alla sua storia, il villaggio di Sixiyan ha anche un'atmosfera di vita speciale: esci dalla famiglia la mattina presto, fai una passeggiata sulla strada di campagna, ascolta il suono dell'acqua e osserva i contadini amici che lavorano presto nelle risaie e sotto il ponte di pietra Lavare e lavare i panni... Le nuvole rotolano e le nuvole si rilassano, l'alba e il tramonto, la vita nel piccolo villaggio è molto struggente.

HhumblezThe hotel staff were sweet and helpful. They offered a tea service for guests, which was such a lovely touch. The hotel owner used to run a tea factory before opening the hotel, so the tea they serve is their own in-house production. When they served it, it wasn’t just a cup of tea handed to us, but they led us to the seating area, sat down, and prepared the tea right there for us. We could slowly sip and savor it until the flavor faded. If you come here, you can enjoy it as soon as you arrive or later (we arrived in the afternoon but saved it for the next morning).
Another thing that really impressed me was the room, which was much nicer than I expected from the pictures. I was traveling with older family member, and they absolutely loved the room. It felt spacious and cozy thanks to its design and layout. At first, I thought we might have been upgraded, but it didn’t seem so—this was the original room I had booked.
The hotel grounds are also quite spacious. Some of the buildings are designed with traditional Chinese architecture, and there’s a garden on a hillside at the back that took us around 30 minutes to walk through.
As for the breakfast, it was decent—plenty of food, though the variety was fairly standard. Still, I’ve got to say this again—the tea served at the hotel was great. They even gave us a box of tea leaves when we checked out!
If you’re coming from the train station, it’s easy to reach the hotel by bus. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and routes 2, 3, and 520 pass by. However, buses stop running fairly early, with the last ones around 5–6 PM. Conveniently, the bus stop has a QR code you can scan to track the buses in real time.

UUtente ospiteDisappointing stay here. We had no choice but to extend our stay because it was Chinese new year and very difficult to find another place to stay and also my husband was sick so we had to change our plans and stay an extra night so he could rest.
The place smelled like smoke everywhere. We have a baby with us and wanted a smoke free place. Despite the signs in the lobby saying No Smoking, people were smoking there and the front desk people didn’t care. The towels in our room had ashes on them and smelled like smoke. They were also ripped and badly needed to be replaced. (We got a smoke free room and learned on our trip that all they do for smoke free rooms is open the windows to air it out before you arrive. 🤦🏻♀️)
There was insufficient toilet paper when we arrived and although they did provide more when we asked it was just inconvenient. The toilet paper holder was broken so we had to find somewhere else to put the roll of toilet paper. The sink leaked and it was supposed to be a dry washroom which is one of the reasons why I booked the place but turned out to be a wet washroom. Incredibly inconvenient with a baby.
The shower drainage was missing a cover and it didn’t feel safe for my child when showering because her little feet could get stuck inside it.
One of the days we needed to rest a little longer and the housekeeper asked us when we were leaving so she could clean our room. We said we needed 2 more hours (around 2pm) she kept trying to peer inside our room and said she wanted to get off work early. I found that incredibly rude. I understand it’s CNY and you want to go home early but that’s not something you should say to a guest who paid to stay at the hotel. Front desk people also did not seem friendly. Never saw any of them smile. We obviously don’t speak Chinese fluently and they laughed at us when they couldn’t understand us and wasn’t helpful in any way.
Overall, not a very pleasant stay. Would not stay here again.

UUtente ospiteWe came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages.
We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too!
Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms.
It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained.
I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me!
The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain.
This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.

WWHUThis is our third week travelling through China. Our stay at Wuli Shanshui Wenquan Dujia Jiudian. Mentioning the full name of this hotel pretty much gives you a full description of what you will likely experience. A lot of good value for money!
The hotel is situated at the bank of a river and behind the river you will see beautiful forested hills. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon you will hear the birds singing.
Your stay in this hotel comes with free entrance tickets to the hotpools, each with its own theme. You have the Danggui, the Red Wine, the Green Oasis, the Milk and Red Vinegar pools. We spent about 10 minutes in each of them. Relax, take time to have the body adjust to the temperature. I sat on the side with only my legs and hands under water. Later I let my body slide into the water fully. That night I slept like a baby and this morning I had a smooth soft skin, like a baby 😁
The rooms are fully equipped with all necessities and the reception was very helpful. We got a fruit basket as a welcoming gift.
Unfortunately there was no restaurant service but the reception helped us to order in lunch and dinner from a nearby restaurant. All we had to do was to pick from the menu and send the order to the reception via Wechat. For a modest fee our lunch, dinner and cold beers were delivered to our room 👍
The breakfast buffet offered great variety with fresh Ginseng fruit and mini tomatoes.
We liked it here so much that we booked a second night.
There is so much to explore in the neighbourhood with the beautiful old villages of Likeng and Wangkou nearby.
