In sintesi, questa è un'ottima opzione per una guesthouse boutique. Le guesthouse raramente arrivano in cima alle pagine delle recensioni, ma le recensioni erano impeccabili, quindi ho deciso di provarla. Servizi: È una casa centenaria. A dicembre faceva freddo, ma l'acqua calda non era eccezionale, il che era l'unico inconveniente. Tuttavia, considerando la difficoltà di drenaggio negli edifici antichi, dovremmo essere comprensivi. La scarsa insonorizzazione è inevitabile, ma onestamente, questo è un problema comune per le strutture sotto i 1000 RMB. Pulizia: Molto pulito, nessun segno di degrado, una ristrutturazione accogliente e invitante. Ambiente: Adagiato contro le montagne e vicino all'acqua, con fiori selvatici in fiore. Abbiamo avuto un soggiorno assolutamente meraviglioso in questa bella B&B! La posizione è perfetta, a pochi passi dalla città principale attrazione antica, a destra del fiume per splendide passeggiate serali, e molto vicino ai negozi e ristoranti nel centro della città. Anche se siamo arrivati tardi alle 9:00, i proprietari ci hanno accolto caldamente con tè e dolci, e anche portato le valigie fino alla nostra stanza. Non parliamo cinese e non parliamo inglese, ma sono stati incredibilmente pazienti, utilizzando un'app di traduzione per spiegare tutto in dettaglio e dare delle raccomandazioni locali sorprendenti. Erano così gentili che ci hanno offerto di prestarci il loro scooter per esplorare! La nostra ”Camera ospite - con View” era spaziosa, eccezionalmente pulita e completamente attrezzata con tutto quello che ci serviva, tra cui bottiglia d'acqua fresca, scarpe e toletta. Era semplice ma incredibilmente delizioso e riempito, con la farina di wonton, le stronzate, i pancake, la patata dolce e l'incredibile Youtiao Mochi-Stuffed. Per scongiurare la loro incredibile ospite, il proprietario ci ha anche condotto alla stazione ferroviaria per il prezzo, che ci ha fatto sentire così incredibilemente benvenuti qui e che era un grande valore per il prezzo. Se torniamo a Wuyuan, rimarremo qui! Molto raccomandato!

We had the best time in this stay, the lady was so kind to us that we feel like we had no way to give back the attention and care she provide for us during our stay. The location of this house is perfect, providing amazing views of the city river and fields around. We had breakfast and lunch which the aunt cooked beautifully and was some of the best food we had in China so far! The room was very artsy, comfortable with nice linens and towels, good water temperature and pressure, and you could see there was a lot of attention to detail. We had a problem with our taxi driver not being able to receive our payment due to international card restrictions and the lady was so kind to help us without asking for anything in return, we will never forget. Also she spoke a little English which is very helpful!! We hope to come again and stay for longer. 💗🙏

Non abbiamo scelta, ma di prolungarci perché era un anno nuovo cinese e molto difficile trovare un altro posto dove stare, e mio marito era malato, quindi abbiamo dovuto cambiare i nostri piani e rimanere una notte extra per poter riposare. Il posto è profumato come fumare ovunque. Abbiamo un bambino con noi e voleva un posto libero. Nonostante i segni nel lobby che dicevano No Smoking, la gente fumava lì e la gente del desk non si importava. Le tolette della nostra stanza erano di cenere e profumavano come fumo, ma anche distrutte e difficilmente necessarie per essere sostituite. (Abbiamo una stanza senza fumo e abbiamo imparato durante il nostro viaggio che tutto quello che fanno per le stanze senza fumo è aprire le finestre per farlo fuori prima che tu arrivi. 🤦🏻♀️) Quando arrivammo, non c'era abbastanza carta da bagno, e sebbene fossero stati più a disposizione quando chiesemo che fosse semplicemente inconveniente, il portatore di carta da bagno era rotto, quindi dovevamo trovare altrove per mettere il roll di carta da bagno. Il bagno si è svuotato e si è pensato che fosse una lavatrice asciutta, che è una delle ragioni per cui ho prenotato il posto, ma mi è sembrato una lavatrice bagnata. Il drainaggio del doccia mancava una copertina e non si sentiva sicuro per il mio bambino quando si dorseva perché i suoi piccoli piedi potevano essere bloccati dentro. Un giorno abbiamo dovuto riposare un po' più, e la custode ci ha chiesto quando andavamo, per poter pulire la nostra stanza. Abbiamo detto che avevamo bisogno di altre due ore (circa alle 2:00) e ha continuato a cercare di fare il peer in camera e ha detto che voleva andarsene presto. Ho trovato che era incredibilmente brutto. Capisco che sia CNY e tu vuoi andare a casa presto, ma non è qualcosa che devi dire ad un ospite che ha pagato per rimanere all'hotel. La gente del Front Desk non sembrava neanche amichevole. Non ha mai visto nessuno di loro sorridere. Ovviamente non parliamo cinese fluentemente e ci hanno rideto quando non ci hanno capito e non hanno aiutato in alcun modo. In generale, non una stanza molto piacevole. Non mi fermerò di nuovo.

Had a wonderful stay at the resort. It is a short 10 min DIDI ride from Wuyuan railway station, or you can choose to take a bus instead. Here is what i will do, if i am going back there again. 1. Have an early lunch and arrive at the resort early afternoon. 2. Spend the rest of the day touring the resort and taking lots of photos. 3. Enjoy the free live performance at 5pm and go for dinner. 4. Then get ready for their night events lined up for us 5. Spend the next day on a day trip to nearby villages (Have to book our own tours and make our own arrangements for this) 6. Depends on which part of the resort you are staying at, adjust your timing. Because the breakfast is something like in the middle of the resort. And the distance from the restaurant to the entrance is a little bit far, so might be a bit rush, depending on what is the pick up time for your tour 7. Enjoy the night activities again 8. Watch their live performance at the main theatre at 8pm (This one need to pay) The resort really comes to life from mid afternoon. In the morning, most of the shops are not open. The main food street opens from evening time, and there is a karaoke bar in another street. From mid afternoon , there are already various activities to do. The 2 performances i mentioned above, is the ones at the main theatre And last but most important , the number 1 activity i will super highly recommend , is to go for the tui na massage. In fact, i recommend that should be your first thing to do upon arrival, and if time permits , the last thing you do before departure All in all, will visit again to enjoy what the resort has to offer

This is our third week travelling through China. Our stay at Wuli Shanshui Wenquan Dujia Jiudian. Mentioning the full name of this hotel pretty much gives you a full description of what you will likely experience. A lot of good value for money! The hotel is situated at the bank of a river and behind the river you will see beautiful forested hills. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon you will hear the birds singing. Your stay in this hotel comes with free entrance tickets to the hotpools, each with its own theme. You have the Danggui, the Red Wine, the Green Oasis, the Milk and Red Vinegar pools. We spent about 10 minutes in each of them. Relax, take time to have the body adjust to the temperature. I sat on the side with only my legs and hands under water. Later I let my body slide into the water fully. That night I slept like a baby and this morning I had a smooth soft skin, like a baby 😁 The rooms are fully equipped with all necessities and the reception was very helpful. We got a fruit basket as a welcoming gift. Unfortunately there was no restaurant service but the reception helped us to order in lunch and dinner from a nearby restaurant. All we had to do was to pick from the menu and send the order to the reception via Wechat. For a modest fee our lunch, dinner and cold beers were delivered to our room 👍 The breakfast buffet offered great variety with fresh Ginseng fruit and mini tomatoes. We liked it here so much that we booked a second night. There is so much to explore in the neighbourhood with the beautiful old villages of Likeng and Wangkou nearby. Thank you! 🙏

We came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages. We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too! Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms. It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained. I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me! The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain. This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.
