Hotel con parcheggio a Nanping

We were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended. The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour. The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

La cena è tutta fatta in negozio, per non parlare del gusto, votiamo con le nostre azioni. Infine, voglio elogiare: l'acqua del bagno è molto calda e confortevole e anche la pressione dell'acqua è ottima.

Che tu sia già affettuoso per il tè o appena iniziare il viaggio, Buzhichun è il luogo perfetto per rimanere a Wuyishan una città profondamente radicata nella cultura del tè. La stanza è spaziosa, super pulita e con un minimalista di toccature.I colori e i materiali naturali creano un'atmosfera tranquilla che si sente come casa perfetta per una vita lenta. Il bagno è grande, senza spot e ben attrezzato con attrazioni. Mi piaceva soprattutto la bella luce naturale nella stanza. Nel pavimento c'è un negozio di tè vibrante dove i giovani locali cadono, creando un'atmosfera vivace. Troverete esposizioni storiche e oggetti curati che offrono una visione sia di Wuyishan che del ricchissimo patrimonio del tè cinese. E non perdere incontro Xiaobai, il cane amico che vive sempre felice di salutare gli ospiti. Il 6° piano dispone di una accogliente stanza comune, in stile tatami, completata da un tavolo da camminare e da una tavola da tè, con vista panoramica sulla montagna un luogo ideale per rilassarsi. Quello che davvero pone questo posto separato è l'ospite e il personale. Sono caldi, benvenuti, e sempre pronti a condividere il tè con voi ogni volta che tornate da una passeggiata o vieni giù. Ho soggiornato due notti e ho provato almeno 6–7 diversi tipi di tè Wuyishan. Anche come un solo viaggiatore e un straniero, mi sentivo coinvolto nelle conversazioni e facilmente collegato con altri ospiti. Pro tip: Se conosci un po' di cinese, ti aiuterà a immergersi più profondamente nelle storie dietro il posto. Ma anche se non lo fai, la lingua del tè ti farà sentire a casa. Grazie, Buzhichun, per aver trasformato il mio viaggio a Wuyishan in una tale esperienza memorabile.

Wonderful stay at this hotel/resort, maybe one of our best stays during our travels in China. Asian culture with western hospitality - amazing! Breakfast 10/10 - Yum! Great for families - the hotel has all the amenities for kids/toddlers. Small hiccups with the spa experience, but the team quickly handled the situation very professionally. Big thanks to Fiona and Ally for their great service and friendly treatment. We will return when we come back to WYS.

This place makes me wish there was an option for six stars. I study Asian art for a living, and I travelled to Jianyang to visit the home of Jian ware, classic tea bowls of the Song dynasty (960 to 1279 CE), distinguished by their black and brown glazes. Over the last few decades, firing Jian ware in the Song tradition has been revived in the area. I chose Nanping Colourful Village Homestay because it was in Jianyang, affordable, and accepted international guests. What I found was a luxury resort with all the warmth and personal attention of a homestay. I asked the front desk about an excavated Song kiln site in a nearby village, and the receptionist brought me the manager, who arranged for someone to take me the next day. My driver was Ms. Huang, an employee of the resort whose job involves buying and selling contemporary pieces. She knew everything about Jian ware! The kiln site isn’t run as a tourist site, so I was only able to view it because Ms. Huang arranged for it to be opened for me. I had told them I was vegetarian, so for lunch they took me to lunch at a vegetarian buffet. Then we visited the town’s Jian ware museum, where they have exhibits on the history of tea and Jian ware, historical pieces, and the work of contemporary Jianyang potters. To my delight, Mr. Gao, the potter-in-residence at the resort, uses a Song-style wood-fired dragon kiln, built right on the grounds! His pieces that range from beautiful but quite affordable to exquisite and appropriately expensive. They include both iridescent silvery oil spot and orange-to-black hare’s fur pieces. I am still thrilled that I was able to purchase wood-fired pieces on my limited budget. For dinner, the resort’s restaurant prepared vegetarian versions of Fujian cuisine for me. The food was all delicious, featuring classic Fujianese mountain ingredients like local bamboo and mushrooms. Then we visited Mr. Gao’s dragon kiln, and later his studio, where he experiments with different local clays and glaze recipes. The rich colours and iridescence of Jian ware are the result of the iron-rich local material fired at high temperature, and the results are as unpredictable as they are beautiful. The next day, they drove me to Mr. Chen’s family tea plantation in the mountains, where they grow famous northern Fujian teas. These fine teas were all wonderful, smooth and rich with a touch of smoke, and sometimes fruity in flavour. We strolled through mountainsides of tea bushes and visited groves of centuries-old tea trees. This is a perfect place for an immersive experience in China that is also very comfortable and convenient. I often find tourist experiences in China claustrophobic due to the press of people, but the resort was spacious and airy, and they took me to places where there was no one else but us and the occasional local going about their business. Everyone was very patient with my limited Chinese language skills. They were also happy to work with translator apps on our phones, so if you don’t speak any Chinese, you will be fine. This would be a great place to come as a family. There are gardens and rides for kids right next to the resort. You can learn how to whip Song-style tea and carve your name into the base of your own Jian ware cup. Not far away is a historical theme park with a collection of real architecture from the Ming (1368 to 1644 CE) and Qing (1636 to 1912 CE) dynasties. The employees wear period dress and there are performances and activities. Nearby there are hiking trails, historical sites, and lovely villages to visit. It’s also very close to Wuyi Mountain National Park, so it would be a perfect place to stay if the mountains are your destination. If you ask, they could arrange for you to visit famous sites or take you to breathtaking places that only locals know, whatever you want. They can also arrange transport to and from the train station or airport.

La camera era abbastanza pulita. Prendete il treno K1 dalla stazione ferroviaria ad alta velocità fino al Manxin Hotel e camminate per pochi minuti fino all'hotel. La posizione è ottima. Ci vogliono solo pochi minuti di taxi per raggiungere il Monte Wuyi. È molto comodo per mangiare e prendere i taxi. La colazione è nella media. L'unico inconveniente è che il bagno ha un cattivo odore.

L'ambiente è tranquillo e bellissimo, e le camere sono pulitissime. La proprietaria e la sua famiglia sono incredibilmente gentili, facendoci sentire come a casa. Tutti sono così cordiali. Ci hanno accolto appena entrati, facendoci sentire come a casa, e abbiamo gustato un tè e chiacchierato ogni volta che ne avevamo il tempo. Anche la posizione è comoda, con facili collegamenti, il che rende tutto senza problemi. Si può prendere l'autobus n. 9 direttamente dalla stazione di Wuyishan Nord, ed è gratuito, il che è un vero sollievo! C'è anche un ristorante dove si possono ordinare piatti, con prezzi chiaramente indicati. I piatti sono deliziosi e le porzioni sono abbondanti, rendendo il pasto soddisfacente. Based on my recent two-night stay, the Metropolo Hotel Wuyishan Sangu Holiday Resort is an excellent choice for exploring the area. The location is truly great, with easy access via the public bus right outside. Our room was impressively spacious and very clean. A special mention must go to their staffs, who were super nice and incredibly attentive to all my requests. The breakfast offered a great variety and quality to start each day. I would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Wuyishan.
