We stayed at Dagu Glacier Gaer Manor and honestly, it was such a pleasant surprise. The room was very spacious not just “big” but properly comfortable to move around, open luggage, and still feel cosy. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and everything felt well maintained. But the highlight? The view. Waking up to mountain scenery right outside the window was unreal. The air felt fresh, the surroundings were peaceful, and it really made us slow down and appreciate the moment. It’s one of those stays where you just stand by the window for a while and take it all in. After a long day exploring Dagu Glacier, coming back to a warm, beautiful room with such a stunning view made the experience even better. If you’re planning to visit Dagu Glacier, this hotel is definitely worth considering especially if you enjoy comfort with breathtaking scenery.

What started as a disruption turned into a surprisingly positive experience—thanks to efficient problem-solving and a warm, comfortable new stay. Following the unexpected change of plans, we stayed at Heishui Gaduo Manor Homestay, and it turned out to be a genuinely heartwarming experience. Although the staff did not speak English, their willingness to help was evident in every interaction. Through gestures, smiles, and sincere effort, they made us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. As we were preparing to visit Dagu Glacier Scenic Area, we purchased instant noodles and additional canned oxygen from the property, just to be safe for the high altitude. The prices were fair and reasonable, with no sense of overcharging. What stood out the most was the genuine hospitality—proving that meaningful service goes beyond language. True hospitality isn’t defined by words, but by the sincerity and care you feel along the journey.

The room was spacious, clean, with a nice view that made the stay even more relaxing, although the place is not easily accessible from the main road. The service was excellent throughout, and the host was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Overall, I enjoyed my time here and felt very comfortable from check-in to check-out.

The hotel was great, the bed is very comfy and even has a bed heater, the hotel also has AC can be used in winter and summer time.. if you plan to go to dagu glacier, this hotel is perfect match.. the owner very helpful and very kind.. overall this hotel is very recommended

The location was nice, it was easy to find and there were many restaurants nearby. We booked for 3 rooms with twin bed, once arrived the hotel, the receptionist greeted us with Thai word “Sawasdee krab” that was so kind and touched our mind. He provided us more information with Thai translation and made us more understanding. The room was clean, big size high ceiling and well prepared. There was electricity blankets provided so we all slept well and charged the energy for the next day. It was nice to have a chance to stay in this lovely hotel!!!

This place is a one of a kind stay, if you've never been to China, this stay will put you in awe. This stay is more if a homestay owned by families. Rich with ******* heritage and hospitality. We were quite surprised that they said to just go upstairs and choose any room we liked 🤣. We really enjoyed our stay although the amenities were quite lacking but just enough. At night we were asking the owner if there is any nearby convenience store to buy some snacks but all stores were closed at the time. But the very kind uncle (owner) invited us to walk with him to his friend's store in the village. The store was closed but he called his friend to open the shop just for us ♥️. Overall a once in a lifetime memorable experience. 👍

I am Thai🇹🇭. I stayed in a room for three people for two days. The cleanliness was still not up to standard, and the bathroom had a slight smell. However, on December 30, 2024, it snowed at night. When I woke up and looked out the window, everything was covered in snow. It was incredibly beautiful, like a scene from a fairy tale. The free food provided was steamed buns, boiled eggs, and bland rice porridge, which were just okay. But don’t forget to ask for a WeChat taxi contact because taxis are very limited. Just in case there’s no car available for the return trip from Tagong.
