Sofia Luxury Residence

Just has a weeks holiday at Sofia apartments. We literally booked in the morning on the day we arrived. There were 6 of us and we hired 2 apartments one standard and one deluxe. We were both in Block C. i can honestly say it’s one of the nicest accommodation we have ever stayed in. The photographs on the website are true to what you get. The whole complex is absolutely spotless. Rooms are presented very well and all linens, bath towels, pool towels, were spotless. Our deluxe apartment had a huge wrap around balcony with seating. And a view over the beautiful church. The other had a smaller balcony with less of a view but still large enough for seating and to hang towels etc. Both rooms had washing machine and dishwashers, all crockery and utensils needed, nice drinking glasses, and extras such as washing up liquid, dishwashing tablets etc. and iron, hairdryer, clothes maids, pegs. Little touches which make a massive difference and are a great help. Safe remote control gates for parking and parking spaces which were well lit - and also spotless! With wonderful art on the walls. Doors are secure and stairwells well lit - on timer switches and a lift too. We had a couple of issues with tv and air con on when we arrived and was immediately rectified by Irina, who was great. Nothing was too much trouble. You can also hire out the bbq on the penthouse but we didn’t bother as it was so warm of an evening (August). Also if you have young children there was a play room with toys and outside swing which we thought was a really great idea. We travelled with older teenagers who also thought the apartments were great. they used the Tv and logged into netflix. Elemis toiletries in The bathrooms where a great touch The walk to the prom area of Paphos is less than 5 minutes and is an easy safe walk. The Kings shopping mall is less than 5 minutes walk in the other direction. Buses and taxi ranks are everywhere but i don’t think they are needed. If i am honest, the pool area, although was spotless and modern could have been a bit bigger. However we only used this of an evening after a day jumping in the sea at Paphos, which was also clean and safe. It wouldn’t put me off staying again. I would recommend some coaster for drinks/glasses in the apartments as the place is so nice we were frightened to out a drink down and the electric curtains drove me a bit mad in the lounge bit once had the hang of them i couldn’t t fault anything else. Thanks to Irina for great service and the cleaning lady whose name i didn’t get for the cleaning service. I have just read. One star review of the Sofia and i don’t know where they stayed but it certainly did not match our experience we would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
