Woodlands Park Hotel

Good location

Woodland Park was absolutely amazing! I enjoyed every moment and will surely return. The room was very clean & spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We had afternoon tea for my birthday and it was exceptional. The food was fresh and tasty and the service was up to the standards. The lobby area was so cute with plenty of seats so people can relax. Best part was the breakfast!!! Absolutely delicious with so many choices. The offer table service which was a plus. The check-out experience did not fall behind. This is a hidden jewel. Rooms were very comfortable and quiet. There is a hiking trail close to the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Convenient to Heathrow. Reasonable prices. Checked all the boxes for me and I would highly recommend the hotel.

A superb stay from check-in to check-out. The reception team was so lovely, friendly, and attentive. Especially, Aysha with her profesionalism and eye for detail. Aysha ensured we had all the information needed for our stay. The room was large, very clean, and with a comfortable bed. The service was great, especially Juaquin, the bartender. He did his very best and went above and beyond for us. Breakfast was so good in every way. The food was hot, delicious, and of great quality. Table service is a plus, too. What a lovely hotel Woodlands Park is. I can't wait to re-visit. Thank you!

My friend & I were excited to go out for afternoon tea to celebrate out birthdays. On arrival the greeting was lukewarm and we were directed down a corridor where we were met by a member of staff, acknowledged and then walked back down the same corridor to where we started. The chairs were uncomfortable so we moved. it was cold - my friend had her coat draped round her shoulders during the entire meal. Customer service was excellent to start with but then our server disappeared and we were left to our own devices. I had a code for a free drink which I had given at the time of booking but even so I had to had over the magazine advert (good thing I took it). I was charged £4.50 for a bottle of fizzy water on top of £35 a head for the Afternoon Tea - this was not made clear. The background music was too loud for talking so we had to ask for it to be turned down. I asked for English Breakfast tea - when it arrived it was far too strong like ink so I had to ask for hot water to dilute it - this was not automatically served with the tea. They did have soy milk though. The food was impressive - dainty sandwiches, scones and cakes - but not if you were gluten free. My gluten free choices paled in comparison to my friend's and I am not convinced everything was gluten free. During the meal only once did a server come to check on us. At the end of the meal, my friend had to get up from the table in search for a member of staff in order to get the bill. We also asked for doggy bags to take home the food we hadn't eaten. We were presented with cardboard containers and had to put the food inside them ourselves. The member of staff seemed keen to see us gone. There was a general feeling that they didn't really care whether we'd had a good time or not. We then wandered down several corridors looking for the exit and no member of staff came up to us to assist. Eventually we figured it out for ourselves. We did wonder why the hotel was deserted. Now we know.

Stayed in a standard double room which was quite small especially the bathroom. No walk in shower which is disappointing and just felt it needed updating . However All the staff in all departments were absolutely professional and extremely friendly . Would stay there again but would certainly look for a room which was larger with a more updated bathroom
