Hotel situato in buona posizione, il palazzo si presenta bene all’esterno mostrando un carattere storico. Gli spazi comuni all’interno (hall, scale, ascensore, corridoi) sono poco illuminati, con arredamento troppo scuro, pesante e vetusto (non antico!). La stanza era piccola e certamente non all’altezza degli standard di un 5 stelle: moquette macchiata, muri sporchi e rovinati, lenzuola e copriletto non stirati, gli infissi in legno delle finestre erano scrostati e rovinati, il bagno troppo piccolo sebbene pulito e funzionale. Perfino la porta di ingresso alla stanza era storta, così come il pavimento e la porta dell’armadio. La vista della camera affacciava su un cortile interno maltenuto. A ciò si aggiunge la mancanza di cura dei dettagli, altro requisito essenziale di un hotel a 5 stelle. Unica caratteristica in linea con un hotel 5 stelle è il prezzo. In definitiva, questo non è per niente un hotel 5 stelle, chi cerca tale tipologia di hotel deve dirigersi altrove; questo hotel può andare bene a chi cerca un hotel 3 stelle, spartano e senza pretese ma con un prezzo assai elevato per ciò che offre. Abbiamo visitato per la prima volta per qualche giorno Oxford con la famiglia. Ci siamo trovati in questo hotel estremamente buono: buon servizio, molto buon colazione, (il tè alto sembrava anche piacevole, ma purtroppo non siamo arrivati a questo). Il servizio era molto amichevole e flessibile: una sera i bambini volevano mangiare un po' di piccoli IPV nel ristorante e sono stati installati immediatamente nel bar e hanno potuto scegliere quello che volevano mangiare (sceglievano una pasta e un toast ham/cheese). Inoltre, molto centrale. Un consigliere!

Durante le vacanze estivi, i prezzi sono sconsigliati, le camere sono tutte di dimensioni uniformi e i prezzi del paesaggio sono diversi.L'igiene pulita non è grande, ma pratico.Per vedere il prezzo di settembre è abbastanza costoso, ci vuole 3K. E'molto vicino al centro commerciale di Oxford Siemen, tutti i tipi di cibo sono molto conveniente, e camminare fino a Oxford college è molto conveniente. Il colazione dell'hotel è molto buono. Oltre a tutti i tipi di cibo che viene messo, è possibile chiedere al cameriere dei pezzi d'ovulo omelet e altri. Il sapore è migliore di quello della serie Hilton.Vanha prodotto, il livello è sicuro.

Quando siamo arrivati all'hotel, abbiamo scoperto che avevamo effettuato una doppia prenotazione per errore. Quando abbiamo parlato con il direttore, nello spirito di cercare una soluzione amichevole e reciprocamente vantaggiosa per il nostro errore inavvertito, il signor Jay Sicyp ha perso il suo temperamento prima di finire ciò che dovevamo dire, e minaccia di ”rimuoverci” mentre getta il suo fiato sul desk. Questo comportamento aggressivo non vale la pena di un hotel a Oxford, in realtà ovunque nel mondo. Siamo nei sessanta e questo è stato di gran lunga il peggiore, e il nostro unico disumano, Se la direzione superiore di questo hotel dovesse leggere questa recensione, dovrebbero avvertire il signor Jay Sicyp di ripetere questo tipo di comportamento e fare qualcosa per cambiare la cultura aziendale come si riflette nel In considerazione del numero eccezionalmente elevato di valutazioni negative, tale riforma sembra essere molto temporanea.

Siamo stati solo una notte per incontrare i membri della famiglia a cena a Oxford. È molto ben posizionato per il centro della città. Nonostante ciò, è in una posizione tranquilla e abbiamo trascorso una buona notte di riposo in una stanza piccola ma confortevole. Manca la gamma di servizi che potresti desiderare per un lungo soggiorno. Ad esempio, non ha lounge, ristorante o ascensori, che è l'unico motivo per cui non ho potuto dare 5 /5 per i servizi. I servizi che ha sono buoni: in camera bollitore per tè e caffè, televisione, radio e WiFi. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile. Siamo venuti in macchina e abbiamo usato il sistema Park and Ride, che è eccellente. I servizi di autobus di Oxford sono buoni. L'hotel è anche solo una breve corsa in taxi dalla stazione se andate in treno. L'hotel era ideale per un breve soggiorno e lo useremo di nuovo.

Molto molto fondamentale. Molto poco cura in generale. La stanza era ok, ma piccola e stufata. Decorazione scendeva . Corridori crampi e sbattuti. Desk era senza equipaggio, doveva bussare per ottenere il personale lungo la strada dal loro “sorella” hotel. Sembravano disinteressati. Little local knowledge. Wall paper thin. Quando sono andato via la mattina, sono andato in un sito di costruzione - tutta la sezione, compresa la porta anteriore, era stata tagliata fuori dai lavoratori - che mi hanno urlato per non aver indossato un cappello duro 😂 sarebbe stato bello ottenere una testa dall'hotel questo era sono stati fatti. È stato economico, ma non rimarrò più.

A friend and I had planned to go to Oxford to celebrate Mayday in 2020 but the pandemic meant this didn’t happen. In November 2022 my friend tried to book into the same place but it was full. There weren’t many rooms available and he booked us into the Ali Inn based on the photos. Neither of us read a review until the day before when I did. The majority of the reviews were poor but as we had no choice we arrived not expecting what to find and somewhat concerned. However There was someone to meet us Our room was clean and tidy. There were sufficient towels, toiletries and tea and coffee. Because of Mayday prices had increased everywhere and the Ali Inn was no different but at £260 for 2 nights wasn’t bad. It is a budget hotel. It is centrally located which is good. There is noise as there is a pub opposite and the theatre beneath it. It is a number of rooms up stairs and adjacent to a sandwich business run by the same people. The owner? Manager? Was very amenable helpful and friendly. The room was a good size as was the toilet and shower room. Definitely good for budget travellers who don’t mind noise. Ideal location very central and close to the bus station. Clean. Big towels too! Bed slightly soft and that’s the only slight criticism I have.

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and it was nice to have extra pillows and blankets in the room, if needed. Bathroom was nice and towels were fluffy! The little extras like bottled water, hot chocolate and cookies were a nice touch. The location was great...very close to the train station, which was the deciding factor to book this hotel. We were not disappointed! The little restaurant located off the lobby served a delicious breakfast!

I enjoyed my stay at Central Backpackers. It's a small, compact hostel so it's pretty easy to start up a conversation with someone if you feel like it. The room (8 bed female dorm) was super spacious, and it was great to have power sockets and a light for each bed. Hostel was clean, showers were nice, but one of the toilets always seemed to have an issue with flushing (toilet within shower room by dorm 7). Kitchen was small but seemed like it had everything you'd need if you wanted to cook. Movie room was small but cosy. Great location, 5 mins from train station and easy walk to main attractions.

My first experience highlighted the incompetent service. I booked an executive room and was told 6 months later that they had listed it at the wrong price. After confirming the new price, it was clearly confirmed on ***********. The hotel clearly ignore these confirmations because they downgraded me to a classic, but left *********** to charge me the higher price. Hotel not interested, everyone else’s fault. No apology, no compensation. *********** had to contact the hotel and correct the price again. Access code arrived less than 3 hours prior to check-in, which was the first I knew of my downgrade. Classic rooms are OK but very noisy if you’re at the back. Sink plug broken, poor ventilation, good Wi-Fi, clean and comfortable bed. Stayed 2 nights but after first night, no housekeeping, no clean cups, no new toiletries and bottles of water. They have clearly, following the decision to sell, given up. If you haven’t booked already, or have a flexible booking, you might wish to do the same.

Situazione perfetta su Broad Street, nel cuore della storia di Oxford. Questa è una scelta buona e ragionevolmente prezzi. Anche se descritta come un hotel, è davvero solo camere sopra le negozi, con un tavolo di ricezione. Non c'è ristorante, salotto, bar o strutture all'alloggio. Lo sapevamo e non ci importava. La nostra stanza è stata servita durante il nostro soggiorno di fine settimana e è confortevole e caldo. Il tè, il caffè e la caldaia sono stati forniti. Uno sacco di cappotto. La stanza era molto piccola ma adeguata. Buona doccia. La posizione della nostra stanza (102) era rumorosa, al di sopra delle scale e al tavolo di ricezione. Altre camere, più lontane, probabilmente non sono.
