Un hotel che vi rimarrà impresso. Tutto veramente bello e minimal. Atmosfera perfetta. Ideale per i ragazzi tra scivolo, calcetto e Ping-pong Colazione di prima qualità e super Prezzi direi ottimo tanto da trovarlo sempre pieno. Mi è’ piaciuto molto

L'hotel è al centro si Ostenda, molto carino se avete dei bambini, in quanto ci sono dei giochi per loro e non solo 😀 abbiamo cenato nella zona bar, con delle "tapas" ma la struttura ha anche un ristorante, camere nella norma

Hipster Hotel, very close to all the action and a short walk from the train station. Staff were friendly enough, and the lobby area has lots of cool features like a pit, slide, and dartboard. Unfortunately the rooms are a little uncomfortable. Quite small, no aircon, noisy (you hear every flush) and serviced by small corridors. Great WiFi and shower, OK breakfast. Probably would not return but fine if you're young and easily amused for a night or two. Certainly not in the summer as a lack of air might be unbearable.

The Upstairs has been our favourite hotel in Oostende for quite a few years now. The rooms are functional, equipped with everything you need and most importantly: super clean! The staff is very friendly and the check-in and -out couldn't be easier. Plus, the hotel is situated directly by the beach, near the main shopping street of the city and is surrounded by delicious restaurants. The hotel itself has its own restaurant too. Their breakfast buffet will satisfy every eating habits, from vegan to gluten-free. Lunch and dinner options are varied, fresh and delicious. We especially enjoyed spending time at the bar, having some tapas and cocktails and playing table tennis (or mortal combat). Our daughter loves the slide in the middle of the lobby and makes new friends every time we visit. The Upstairs is THE place to be.

We stayed at the Upstairs Hotel for three nights. It’s a great hotel in a really good location, close to the promenade. My four year old daughter LOVED the slide (how could she not!). The breakfast was great (albeit an add on). The room was fine, but my main criticisms were that the room is too hot (we were on the 7th floor and there is no AC), the hairdryer wasn’t working, you get no hand soap, and the double bed was just two single beds joined together. If they could fix these things it would easily be a five star rating.

Extremely noisy and nothing special like e.g. fitness/gym or pool. But the location is rather good, if the weather is good and you want to go to the beach. It seems the belgians love this place, but I think it's bad and overpriced (which Oostend perhaps also is). On 2 of the 3 days I was there there was a hellowa drilling machine noise from the room just next to mine, I cannot believe they're renovating in the middle of high season instead of doing it when there aren't that many guests. Also, the doors were/are really cheap so noise from outside the hallway is incredibly loud inside the room. I don't think I'll be coming back, I prefer Germany where there are many much better hotels for the same price and often with gym/fitness and/or swimming pool and/or free parking and/or free breakfast included.

I did not like to wait for the lift which was taken over by cleaners when demand was high for breakfast. Cleaners equipment should not be in lifts at high demand times

Lovely clean, quirky modern hotel. Beds comfy, great coffee machine in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very central location, and was quiet. No complaints at all. Plus one of the few places in Ostend we could get easy access with a wheelchair, as we were meeting up with a friend, and many places we couldn’t access due to her wheelchair

I was able to book my room extremely last minute, and the price was amazing and when I got to the room, it was gorgeous with two balconies on the very top floor. I could not be happier with this booking. I would’ve stayed the whole week if I knew about it earlier.
