Marcan Resort Hotel

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and the staff were very friendly and worked really hard to ensure all guests were happy. The food was authentic and fresh, and the cakes were delicious. The hotel was very clean. I would have appreciated a proper duvet cover as sometimes it was a little chilly at night. However, I'm sure they would have provided these if we'd asked. Overall, the hotel was in a peaceful location at the top of the *****, so it was not too noisy. We would definitely be returning sometime in the future to this lovely hotel and the beautiful resort of Olu Deniz. Thank you, Marcan Resort!

Good , hotel very clean and good food .. Perfect location for short walk to shops / bars / beach no taxis needed . Highly recommend Metin for family photos to capture the memory if he visits while you stay ..................................

This hotel is Dangerous to your Health and safety …should be maximum rating of 1 star!! We are dumbfounded that TUI are associated with this hotel. From arrival to staff rude unhelpful. Broken glass by pool being jet washed into poolside. All inclusive until 23:00pm poor food .daily running out of drink choices unless I want to pay. not enough seating for dinner or entertainment … waterpolo daily people cutting feet in pool blood footprints all around pool . Guest sitting on sun loungers in evening .. ripped sun lounger mattress - ripped parasol if you could get one . No pool towels no facilities to shower if late check out . Room not what booked , dirty bed linen never changed ! Towels not changed cleaning in communal areas even worse.Dint get me started on transfers. TUI rep on sight defensive rude . Statement read small print .. no wonder people book direct as what is point of using operated if no support or help. We have been travelling to Turkey for past 2 decades never had a bad trip until this one really sad to say … this hotel is o very poor standard please be cautious … water slide open one hour am /pm mum throwing water up slide to help children . No life guard . Ice cream available one hour a day only vanilla no choice . Staff had limited English and for the beginning of season seemed fed up and very unfriendly.

I was advised that my chosen hotel was closing on my holiday dates, and this 'equivalent' one was given. Most definitely was an upgrade to the very budget hotel I had paid for. The hotel is a decent 3 star, with bits of 4 star thrown in. The hotel is nice and conveniently located a few minutes walk from the top of The Strip-so no noise, yet everything is almost on your doorstep. Youre surrounded by the mountain, where it's pretty cool to see the paragliding in the sky. My room was fine, though after several days I was asked to move as there was some plumbing going on in this particular block. My new room was fabulously located on the ground floor with a lovely little outside area-really enjoyed this. The only problem was that every few days, there was an awful smell coming from the bathroom area that seeped into the room. Obviously, you cant have your patio doors open 24/7, so one night, I literally slept under the covers. I must admit that as soon as I let reception know, it was promptly dealt with. However, it seemed to return every 4/5 days. Again, as soon as I let reception know, it was sorted. I think it was some sort of drainage problem in that block. On this note, I must say that the manager-a Jolly guy-was excellent throughout my stay, as was the blonde 'perfumed' lady on reception. Both were very approachable and pleasant. I found all the staff were good. I tend to keep to myself and liked that they weren't mithering, yet on hand if you needed. There is only one Entertainment Guy-Garfield-which makes it a hard gig to rally round guests to take part in daily activities-though he did his best and was friendly enough. There wasn't so many daytime activities, just the odd ones if he got enough people to join in. I must admit, though, I did enjoy some of the night entertainment. I'm not one to be out every night, but I did enjoy a couple of games of bingo and 2 of the weekly shows-which were said to be good-were pretty darn good. I really enjoyed them. Onto the food. I'm not food fussy and found the food variety and quality pretty good. They have your usual food stations, with freshly cooked food outside, which I enjoyed. There was enough food-plentiful for those who are 'pigs' on all inclusive- and hardly any q's and they had a couple of themed nights to mix it up. There are lunchtime snacks-I definitely enjoyed a couple of those double burgers-and Ice-cream at a set time. I really enjoyed the outdoor eating area, through the main eating area and there was another bigger outdoor eating area if this was full. The drinks were fine. Normal soft drinks, as per, and a basic selection of alcoholic drinks. There were some moans that cocktails were not on the all inclusive, only at happy hour, though, as I'm not a big drinker, this was not a 'problem' for me. I had the odd glass of wine, which was drinkable-nothing special-but fine. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was good and I really liked Ouldinez. I would definitely recommen

Another great stay at the Marcan resort. Rooms are very clean and pool area is great. Cocktail hour was very enjoyable! Would deffo come back! Only a 5 minute walk from the beach so in a great location. Located right next to the mosque so it’s lovely to hear the call to prayer throughout the day.

What a hotel! My daughter was turning 18 while we were here I asked the hotel before we arrived for a sea view room and to decorate our room for her they went above and beyond to make her birthday one to remember. We had an amazing day room with amazing views cleaned every day the room was decorated they also made her a birthday cake and bottle of wine plate of treats she was absolutely blown away our fridge was stocked with water every day and all the staff made us feel so welcome and looked after our every need u can't thank them enough for making my daughters 18th special as one she will never forget. We definitely recommend the hotel and we will be coming back to next year thank you again so so much. Gemma and Demi xxx
