Abbiamo soggiornato all'Hotel Time Out da 20/11 per 2 settimane. Le recensioni erano molto miste, ma non avevamo motivo di preoccuparci. Prenotammo una sala di vista sulla piscina, perché le recensioni avevano detto che era un po' più tranquillo di quelle delle camere del bar. La nostra camera era pronta per le 2 e la nostra camera non era pronta, quindi abbiamo messo il caso nella bagagli cambiato e andato alla piscina. La nostra camera era immacolatamente pulita, luminosa, 2 letti confortevoli, abbondante magazzinaggio, grande bagno con cammino in doccia, frigo, tè e caffè e grande AC. Grande balcone che era sempre nell'ombra. Potevi sentire qualche rumore dal bar, ma la musica non era tardi e non ci ha disturbati affatto. Abbiamo trovato il personale dell'hotel molto utile e amichevole. La zona della piscina era grande e non c'era problema di ottenere un letto. Gli asciugamani della piscina erano un bonus aggiuntivo. Quando uscite dalla spiaggia di Dover, è proprio lungo la strada che era bella. Ci sono molti ristoranti e bar da scegliere. Abbiamo amato ovunque mangiamo, il cibo era magnifico e, naturalmente, pesce fresco sorprendente. Rimarremmo sicuramente qui di nuovo.

L'hotel si trova sul divario di St Lawrence, che ha alcuni club e ristoranti. Può diventare piuttosto rumoroso a notte. Se si opta per l'appartamento di vista sul mare è meno probabile sentire il club sul lato opposto della strada. La stanza stessa è grande, c'è una cucina dove si può cucinare il vostro colazione e fare tè, un tappeto di lavoro, frigorifero, congelatore, caldaia, microonde. Il balcone e la vista sono bellissimi. Svegliarsi ogni mattina guardando l'acqua blu e il cielo blu! Sono andato con il mio amico e quindi abbiamo avuto un letto matrimoniale che è molto comodo. La doccia è un po ' lento con acqua, ma se la mangiate per 3-4 minuti l'acqua si riscalderà. Non abbiamo scelto il colazione, quindi non possiamo commentare il cibo. In generale, positiva, la mia unica denuncia è attenta quando ordinano un taxi che quote in dollari statunitensi e non in dollari barbadiani.La donna che ricevette mi ha sbagliato, nonostante mi abbia chiesto due volte di essere il prezzo quotato in dollari barbadiani e lei ha detto sì. Quando abbiamo finito il taxi, ci è stato detto che era in dollari statunitensi e non in dollari barbadiani. Penso che sia un errore fondamentale da parte del ricevitore e mi ha costato inutilmente. Perche' l'hotel non meritava una 5 stelle. In termini di posizione è buono ma aspettate di rumore, perché siete direttamente contro un nightclub chiamato halo che è molto rumore nei fine settimana, soprattutto il dj e il suo microfono gridando in esso. L'isola è molto piccola, quindi non è tutto lontano. Vale la pena assumere una macchina per andare intorno all'isola, altrimenti il taxi sarà costoso. Un taxi da Lawrence alla distanza nord dell'isola vi costa 120 dollari Barbadian per un solo viaggio. L'hotel dispone di una bella piscina all'aperto e zona frigorifera privata e un ristorante per ordinare bevande. Sì, penso di restare ancora qui.

Ho avuto un ottimo soggiorno all'Hotel South Gap. Zero si lamenta. L'hotel è bello e moderno. Tutte le camere hanno una vista incredibile sull'oceano e sul ponte della piscina. Le camere hanno anche una cucina e un frigorifero di dimensioni piene che è conveniente. La mia stanza era pulita ogni giorno e riempita di toletta e di nuovi asciugamani. Il personale è molto bello, utile e ospitato anche prima del mio viaggio, poiché ho avuto alcune richieste speciali. Il personale dell'hotel ha anche assistito con il trasporto aereo. Il ristorante situato al livello inferiore dell'hotel non era come il vostro tipico ristorante hotel. Era molto buono e le bevande erano grandi. Anche se non è un tutto inclusivo, il cibo è molto conveniente. L'hotel offre anche un buono per un drink benvenuto e un buono per cena del 10% a pochi passi dal ristorante sorella. La spiaggia è anche a pochi passi dall'hotel.

Such a charming little hotel with wonderful, friendly, fun and helpful staff (Brenda, Nicole, Mechelle and Andrea to name but a few). Clean, spacious rooms with good simple cooking facilities if you want to self cater. Maid service in rooms every day. Amazing location 10 min walk from Oistins and opposite a beautiful cove beach with warm, turquoise water. Fantastic little swimming pool which was never crowded. We loved our time at Golden Sands and would be lucky to return one day! Thank you all ❤️

Sorry for the long review but there is a lot to say to try to counteract the numerous poor reviews. Not discrediting peoples experiences but we went anyway with low expectations as only 3 star. Had a deluxe room with 2 double beds and ocean view. Very good size room, lap top safe and very comfy beds and pillows. A real bonus was sufficient coat hangers, not to be sneezed at in my experience. In room refrigerator. A couple of small water bottles every day but as a ”green” person just used the water dispenser to fill my water bottle (near the shop). Well done hotel for that, much appreciated. Food was as expected for a 3 star in the buffet however, the a la carte restaurant had very good food and service, has to be booked so do that as soon as you arrive. Beach towels are available for a rather large deposit compared to other hotels, disappointed with the quality as they were similar to a tea towel in texture. Drinks were adequate eg only 10 cocktails all based on rum or vodka, I have a photo of the menu, the management claimed 16 but no evidence at the bar for that? Service at the bar was really good despite being short staffed sometimes. That said the white and rose were very drinkable, not so much the red. At breakfast, really nice orange juice and a good selection of teas. Good choices for breakfast food. Only problem was size of cups outside meal times where tiny paper cups were available. No problems finding a lounger but cushions were in short supply, a customer complained and suddenly more were supplied - come on management its not hard to please your customers - you could remove the cushions overnight like other hotels do. You can step out right onto the beach which is lovely but as others have said sea very rough - global warming? No sea**** despite the rough seas?? Managed to snorkel at Pebbles beach, bus ride away and Dover beach a 20 minute walk away. Turtles everywhere! Entertainment most nights, some great and some so so. Desiree is amazing, did wood burning activity with her that resulted in a souvenir. Most staff great but some really quite openly miserable that made me wonder about the manager?? Give this hotel a chance.

This hotel was exactly what we needed. From the beginning the service over the telephone was outstanding. Everyone was super helpful and kind over the phone. A special mention to Graham who arranged our taxi with Colin aka Taximan 246. Colin was right on time and took us safely to and from the airport. He was an amazing driver. We even hired him for other occasions. The staff in general was always wearing a smile and let me tell you CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. The rooms were spotless and bed was comfortable. We were right on the Gap which made moving around even easier. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that isn't looking for luxury but is just needing a very warm clean reasonably priced accommodation in Barbados and on the St Lawrence Gap. Ok, è in un buon posto e le camere sono buone, e l'aria con e wi-fi buono, ma è stato molto deluso che non fossero interessati a fare cibo. Quando abbiamo guardato le relazioni del consigliere di viaggio quando abbiamo prenotato, tutti hanno osservato il buon colazione e i buoni proprietari, ma ora è in vendita e i proprietari non erano da vedere. C'erano alcuni giovani che la mandavano e sembravano dolorosi di dover lavorare, anche quando abbiamo prenotato per colazione una mattina, il cuoco non si è alzato! Mi è stato anche pagato un 5% extra per pagare con carta di credito che non era stato menzionato al momento della prenotazione. Vorrei pensare due volte a tornare lì, ma dire che probabilmente sarà sotto nuova proprietà?
