I was attending a class at the NATO School that I was sent to on short notice. Luckily, I was able to get a room here on very short. The staff did a great job of working my registration before I got there, during check-in, and when I locked my key in the room and rerurned after reception hours. It was a great full-size bed with plenty of room to do my workouts and since I was on the first floor, there was no one to disturb. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well every night. The breakfast each morning was a delicious standard Baviarian one, with your own pot of coffee for your designated table. Since this is located in the center of town, all activities and restaurants are a short walk. We got to see the Krampus visit while we were there, and it started right outside my window - a great chance happening. This deserves the Number 1 Travel Advisor ranking it had before I stayed there. This is a must stay location if you are in the Oberammergau area

I have stayed in other guest houses in O’Gau while visiting the NSO and this is my favorite by far. Helpful and flexible to manage arrival, departure and daily breakfast before the bus. Close to the bus stop, easily walkable to the school and very central for the restaurants and shops in town. Lots of friendly advice on local events and spacious super clean and cozy room with fast WiFi and plenty of power outlets too. Nothing but good comments from me. Will definitely try to return here if the opportunity arises.

We liked the most the warm welcome , our room so large and comfortable and the breakfast . Oberammergau is very nice town in a good position to visit all Ludwig II residences and Ettal Abbey . The hotel is in central position with free parking in front ( the parking pass is kindly offered ) and if you want to explore the town you can easily walk around .

Fantastic hotel, easy parking and large spaces. They had a wonderful breakfast and a fresh pot of coffee at our breakfast table every morning. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are very clean. We loved how we could just park the car and walk to whatever we wanted since it is centrally located. The staff was amazing and very accommodating I left my pillow and sleep mask and they mailed it back to me. Wonderful stay and wonderful staff!

Stayed at the Hotel Fux over New Year's as our base for our trip to the Area. We had one of the Apartments and it was lovely. It's location was excellent for us. The Apartment had all we needed for a Family of 4. The staff at the hotel were great to deal with and full of information for our trip. It is located right in the middle of Oberammergau and is beautifully quiet. Everything was spotless and clean and given the cool weather our accommodation was cosy and warm. Without hesitation I would recommend the Hotel.

Was booked in to this wonderful family-run hotel for 5 nights, and I genuinely cannot recommend it enough. The room were comfortable and classic, and the bathroom was modern and had everything you needed, plus everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was classically German and delicious. The staff were attentive and genuinely helpful, especially when I mislaid my keycard and had to get them up at 0030 to let me in! No complaints from them and I felt comfortable and cared for throughout my stay, There isn’t a bar at the hotel and only breakfast is served, however Oberammergau is full of bars, restaurants and shops, so you can easily enjoy the town and return to a lovely room to sleep.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, stayed for 2 nights. Reasonable breakfast. Didn’t take any other meals in hotel (don’t think they did them). Mine host was friendly and helpful. He was one of the soldiers in the Passion Play!

Hotel Ferienhaus Fux This was a wonderful hotel and the accommodations were very comfortable, spacious and extremely pleasant. The meal that was provided was delicious and cooked on the premises. The thing that stands out to me the most is the exceptional hospitality that was provided by the owner. The staff were also very accommodating, making sure that we were treated like family and that all our needs were met. I forgot my jacket and scarf in the closet of my room. My husband and I traveled with Trafalgar and our wonderful tour guided spoke to the owner. The owner packaged my belongings up and took them to be post office to be mailed to California! I don’t think I can thank him enough! Btw, Oberammergau is a beautiful town and the Passion Play was outstanding. I highly recommend staying at the Hotel Ferienhaus Fux.

We were impressed by the friendly hotel staff, the personal attention from the owner/manager (who is in the 2022 play as a soldier) and the breakfast ladies. Sadly we only stayed one night after seeing the passion play but enjoyed being right in the heart of the village with a magnificent view from our balcony. The breakfast was a good range of quality items.
