Great central location between Dunkerque and Bruges. The family room was perfect for a family of four - double bed and a bunk bed for the kids. Breakfast was good, service excellent

With global roaming down, it proved very hard to locate the hotel. The hotel phone number on a poster by the motorway got no reply.

Très propre, bonne literie. Excellent petit déjeuner. Le seul petit bémol est l’emplacement avec beaucoup de traffic sur la grand-route. Impossible d’ouvrir la fenêtre la nuit.

Hotel was mooi met gezellige kamers.  Hadden een kamer met balkon. De ligging van het hotel is iets minder. Ver gelegen van alles . Wel een super goed frituur in de straat .  Parking van hotel is te betalen.  Pluspunt zijn de laadpalen aan de parking.  Bij het ontbijt moet je zelf je tafel afruimen .  Voor de prijs dat je betaald is dit wel jammer .  Ook niet genoeg plaats als alle hotelgasten op hetzelfde uur gaan eten . Dan moeten er letterlijk mensen aan de kant wachten voor ze kunnen ontbijten.

Niet de eerste keer dat we daar verblijven,het is alleen maar om te overnachen en steeds heel tevreden,mooie kamers misschien alleen maar spijtig dat het parkeren aan hotel te betalen is!

Koffie kon je niet krijgen voordat je ingecheckt had voor het ontbijt, dus moest je per tas dan 3,50 betalen. Achter de bar sprak mn geen Nederlands noch Frans, enkel Engels en dit in een toeristisch verblijf.

Prima hotel , wij verbleven slechts 1 nacht, maar alles was aanwezig voor een prima verblijf.

Standaard goede en propere kamer, vriendelijk personeel, ruim ontbijt met bubbels, goede parkingfaciliteiten. Prijs-kwaliteit kan je niet meer verlangen.

La chambre est très bien, le buffet du petit déjeuné très bien aussi.

During check-in on 27 May 2025, I was issued a key to Room 224. To my horror, when I opened the door, there was already a man in bed—asleep, partially exposed, and probably completely unaware of the intrusion. This wasn’t just embarrassing; it was a serious breach of privacy and safety, witnessed by my entire party, including children. When I reported it, the receptionist’s first response was, “Did he see you?”, followed by “Accidents happen.” As though this was a minor inconvenience, not the shocking breach it was. Let’s be clear: this was not an accident—this was dangerous, neglectful, and deeply frightening. I asked to speak to a manager but was told none were available. There was no proper apology, no escalation—just deflection and indifference. To make matters worse, I discovered that the internal door locks do not prevent other programmed keycards from unlocking the room. So if a key is issued to someone in error, there is no way to physically secure the room from the inside. That alone left me feeling incredibly unsafe. I was not able to sleep at all that night and was even found pacing the hallway at 2:30 in the morning by the night guard as I'd had a panic attack. Even more concerning, my son was later able to get a replacement key simply by giving the room number—no ID or name check was done at all. I accepted a free breakfast as a goodwill gesture, but this was wrongly taken as “full compensation.” I do not consider the matter closed. The combination of serious security flaws, a lack of safeguarding, and staff who downplayed the situation made this an incredibly distressing experience. I expected far better from any hotel—especially one under the Ibis/Accor brand.

We are a family of 4 staying in a room with a double bed and a bunk bed. There is plenty of room for the four of us. The bunk bed is a good size and big enough for my 13 year old. (Why can't more family rooms have bunks instead of sofa beds)? The room is clean and the breakfast is good. There are no photos of the carpark, but because the hotel is just outside of town, the parking spaces are very generous. They are large enough to take a bike trailer with 4 bikes and we see a few cars with bikes. It's a short walk to the town centre for food. The town itself is lovely and both the town and the walk feels very safe for families.
