With global roaming down, it proved very hard to locate the hotel. The hotel phone number on a poster by the motorway got no reply.

One the best and cleanest places I visited recently

De locatie van het hotel lag ons wat moeilijk,we hadden over het hoofd gezien dat we bijna 2 km van het centrum van Nieuwpoort en de dichtsbijzijnde tramhalte waren. Parkeren op het terrein van het hotel bleek €17 te kosten per dag,zijnde €0,80 per uur,we hebben daar wijselijk voor bedankt en onze wagen langs de straat gezet ( gratis) Op het hotel was niets aan te merken,alles was in orde,maar dat mocht dan ook wel voor de prijs die we betaalden in volle seizoen (eerste helft augustus) Ontbijt is €18 per persoon en per dag...maar was uitgebreid en constant was alles bijgevuld,alleen spijtig dat het Engels ontbijt zo goed als koud was,blijkbaar werkt de warmhoudplaat niet goed ( ?? ) Drankjes zijn heel duur in het hotel,merkelijk duurder dan in het centrum va Nieuwpoort.

The Hotel is located outside from Nieuwpoort, near to a camping. You'ill find a playground just behind the main building. Generally the Hotel is very Child friendly. In 9' you are at the beach with the car. We had room with bunk beds. Perfectly made for a family with Kids. The rooms are clean an easy made. No luxury or fancy accessoires. The staff is friendly. Only negative point is the pool. Actually you can only enter the pool area by trespassing the changing room. If the room is occupied you have to wait outside. There is no other way to the pool area. The pool is small and the water not very clean.

We enjoyed our stay so much in your place. Three generations mixed up. Nice swimming pool and wellness accommodation available in the hotel on reservation. Kudos to Stephanie and the rest of the team in Nieuwpoort!

The staff is very rude, the pool is small and over-crowded, although you need to reserve (which makes no difference for the number of people), the parking is expensive, the rooms basic without any kettle, coffee facilities or anything. Definitely not worth a penny! Never again!

We have been staying at this hotel for some years and it never fails to disappoint and nor do the wonderful staff, from Muriel, the manager and all her team, including Delphy and Michiel. This is a very clean and well run hotel and benefits from a good, hearty breakfast plus a very nice pool and wellness area. It is well located too, just off the main drag into the nearby Nieuwpoort, a pleasant resort on the Belgian coast. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this lovely, friendly hotel for a stay, be it a short one (as is the case with our family) or a bit longer. It is excellent and the staff are even better

Had a brilliant stay at the hotel whilst passing through Belgium with my young family . Wonderful welcome plus a helpful & friendly service from Michel (not sure of spelling) greeted us like we were his guests. Clean hotel and comfy bed. Will stay again soon. Thanks 👍🏼

This hotel, a 20' walk from the city, has a great holiday caracter. A warm welcome and friendly staff. The rooms have everything a room should have for a comfortable stay. The nice swimming pool with welness and a cosy bar stand for the extras I mentioned in the title. The location guarantees quit nights and make a stay here almost perfect.

Excellent value, spacious and clean family rooms with a double bed and bunk beds. New property with large playground, indoor swimming pool and easy parking. Only downside is the location, we drove to the nearby beaches and struggled to find parking so would definitely bring bicycles if coming again but the hotel is also well served by the tram which is a short walk away. Basic, family friendly menu in the evening and well stocked shop selling snacks, ice cream etc.

Good value typical standard Ibis hotel. Location ideal for breaking journey prior to or after channel crossing; only about 1 hour drive to Eurotunnel. Dog was welcome, easy parking (reasonably secure) and easy to locate. Did not take breakfast, at €18 pp felt too expensive. Easy 15-20 minute walk into Nieuwpoort itself. Will use again
