Crosby Street Hotel

The hotel location is good for SoHo shopping, restaurants, etc. No valet parking, although there's a garage down the street. The service is really top notch, at the high end, even by NYC standards. The restaurant will always seat hotel guests, no matter how busy, and it's always busy! The food and service are excellent. The lobby is very small and really not much of a lobby at all. The rooms are smallish, even for a deluxe - the bathrooms are very small relative to the price, but immaculate and comfortable. Incredible water pressure! Negatives: lack of valet parking and small room size. Positives: service, location, and upkeep of the hotel.

Spectacular oasis in NYC. Absolutely as wonderful as its reputation. Calm, beautiful, private. I’m a frequent NYC visitor and review a fraction of the places I stay. But The Crosby Street Hotel is special. I had been at a conference with unrelaxing vibe/odd meals/odd venue. This was a welcome respite and worth every penny. I can’t say enough good things about the staff, the ambience or the lovely drink and snack I had when I first arrived (and ate in the bar area). My blood pressure dropped 40 points. I hope to return very soon.

We really loved out stay at the Crosby Street Hotel. First the location is great, in a very central part of the it without having any negative impact on the hotel, which is located in a quiet street. It is easy to go anywhere from the hotel and there are many good dining options within walking distance. Second the hotel staff are very good: We got great service in the hotel, good restaurant recommendations from the concierge, good service from the cleaning staff, and good service at breakfast. Excellence all around. Third we had booked a deluxe room top floor. The room was very spacious and light and was very well decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very well appointed. Nothing short of excellence again. Last, breakfast was great with many choices. We were taking the breakfast in the Crosby Street Bar which we found to be incredibly well decorated. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations.

I stayed here for a few days on business. It was a great experience - super friendly staff, great food, and extremely helpful and friendly staff. The rooms have huge windows and are very bright and atmospheric. The outside terrace is a great place to hang out. Will definitely be back.

We researched luxury hotels extensively and decided the Crosby was the best choice for the part of New York we wanted to be in. We booked two rooms but due to a glitch there was a problem. I spoke with David Quiroga reservation manager who calmly and apologetically laid out the issue. He found a way out of the conundrum in a very professional and satisfactory way. At the best hotels they will do this: personalize your experience and find out of the box ways to keep clients with high expectations happy. At some other high end hotels in NYC you will get lip service without the underlying help or substantive commitment to client happiness.

Today, I visited the hotel for a crucial meeting with my client, intending to discuss design ideas for his new space, inspired by the hotel’s style. However, my experience was marred by unwelcoming interactions with the staff. When I attempted to charge my laptop at the restaurant, I was abruptly informed that it wasn’t allowed. Relocating to the library for a charge, I was promptly escorted out by the assistant beverage manager, Shelly, who insisted that only hotel guests were permitted there. This lack of flexibility and accommodation made me feel unwelcome. Despite understanding the necessity of rules, the abruptness of the staff’s response and their failure to offer alternatives left a negative impression. As someone who has frequented 5-star hotels globally, I am disappointed by the snobbish and dismissive treatment I received. It’s disheartening to see a hotel prioritize current guests over potential future ones, neglecting the fundamental principles of good customer service. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience.

This is a gem. The decor is unique -- boho meets pet lovers (I assume furry friends are welcome). Great service. Lovely turndown touches (candle, pillow spritz). A serious, serious minibar. A good in-house restaurant and a lovely drawing room with a nice selection of drinks -- hot and cold. I've stayed in a lot of hotels in New York, and this is one of the best boutiques. Rule Brittania!

Even though it rained non -stop we had the perfect cozy place to land. This is a special hotel, the design and location are unmatched. Had tea and cocktails in the lobby bar and felt pampered and happy. Something about being tucked away on a cobblestone street in the middle of a big city is just heaven. As are the beds and robes. Look forward to coming back soon.
