Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Netanya

We stayed at the hotel in April when it is not a high season. The Ramada Netanyah hotel itself is very nice with the great location and view. It’s just opposite the beach. Panorama on the 5th floor and higher is gorgeous! Among the positive things I would also add the personnel’s willingness to help. However, the amount of negative things is prevailing. 1) We were told that the room is ready and we can check-in but it was rather unclean. Renovation is needed. 2) Insects in the kitchen (cockroaches) 3) Dirty pool - it seems that they don’t know how to clean the bottom 4) Dirty windows in the room 5) Small parking area 6) Open pool area is so weirdly constructed - the hotel itself shields the pool from sun therefore it’s rather cold to stay there after 14:00. It makes you so angry. 7) Pool water is very cold (very common to the majority of hotels in Israel) 8) Mass with room booking. I witnessed the situation when a couple (late night check in) was sent to the room where another couple was sleeping. You can imagine the situation when you sleep in a room in another country that is being entered by other people. And after that the security comes up asking why you are sleeping there because the room should be empty according to their system. I would sincerely ask the hotel management to make changes into their system, and make the standards higher and client-oriented.

sadly this is a 2star hotek masquerading as a resort. the location is nice, but thats where the good and the amenities stop. as an advertised 'resort' i expect the following amenities of which none are offered: concierge taxi stand bell hop / help w lggage (just a DIY cart AND no ramp to get to the hotel w your luggage, only stairs!) in-room mini bar in-room water toiletry items (body wash. shampoo & conditioner are avail) room service menu robes / slippers (you can request a robs from housekeeping) the service is completely missing - from checkin, which took over 30min and we were the only people there (the associate told us she didnt know how!?!?), to asking for a taxi (completely rude front desk attendant, no effort made to help w directions), to asking for help with electronics or even directions. not only is the service inadequate but also very rude. room service is dismal - although the phone attendant was very kind & positive, the food was delivered w no tray, practically inedible, and the dishes sat outside for an entire day before being picked up. sadly housekeeping is also quite sub-par. room service food left in our room for 2days! bed so sloppily made that i wasnt sure theu had come, bathroom not really 'cleaned' more like wiped down. kettle had water in it when we arrived (gross!) and a mildew-y bottom and smell - but its accompanied by instant coffee packs, so not missing out there... the room is dated, w stains & thin, cheap sheets. the balcony is the best part of the room! but ruined by other guests smoking on their balconies... the ac barely works, but the heat works great... last, the much-touted and photographed pool is closed?!? in february when its sunny & beautiful out - we came here thinking we could sit poolside & enjoy the sun, but alas no. With no open beach access and no pool, guests are left to enjoy the sun in the patio of the coffee shop (the only food option thats decent) or the playground. overall, this is not on par with most of Tel Aviv's 4star hotels and certainly not on par with international resort standards. A sad miss all the way around. o! i forgot the laundry rooms - reminiscent of Malaysia, each floor offers a laundry room instead of an iron in the guest room, my husband used it & said - that's a 2!!!! it was shockingly bad & the irons were dirty and stained his shirts -
