Booked 3 club rooms for 3 separate nights during a multi-stop tour through Kenya. The Stanley and the 1902 lounge were one of the highlights of our trip and we would definitely stay here again and specifically book the club rooms. First of all, the staff were incredible - Emilie, Collins, Benson (1902 lounge butlers), Steve (concierge) and Susan (management) deserve special recognition. They all went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. The 1902 lounge is well worth the upgrade. Soft drinks and snacks during the day, and an incredible happy hour daily from 6-8 with hard drinks and hors d'oeuvres. And if your flight is later the day of checkout, you can use the lounge throughout the day. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. We tried all 3 restaurants during our stay - The Thorn Tree cafe provides an excellent breakfast and is good for lunch. Both the Thai Chi and Pool Deck restaurants were excellent dinner choices. If you are heading on Safari or to Mombasa you can leave the luggage you don't need with the concierge, taking only the things you need for that part of the trip. This makes traveling so much easier. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious and well-appointed. As we returned to the Stanley from one of the legs of our trip, we all remarked that it felt like we were ”coming home”. Would highly recommend.

This is a real treasure of a place! The atmosphere is old world charm, the food is fabulous at TATU. The bar is excellent with service and attentiveness to you needs. The gift shop is stellar for some nice jewelry. The facilities are clean as a whistle as they say...breakfast was outstanding with so many choices. The work out facilities are just super great, and the pool is heated. Ok, lastly the ambiance of colonial Africa just fills the air, from the art, to the breezes flowing freely through this wonderful hotel!

The staff in this beautiful hotel is friendly, welcoming and helpful. The ambience is very tropical- relaxed and casual. The walls are adorned with African textiles, traditional implements, weapons etc. Rooms are luxurious and all the public areas are comfortable and tastefully presented. There is a large pool, excellent gym (I’m told), and the massages are well worth it. A jewel in a large busy city

L'hotel è fantastico, ben curato dal personale adorabile e attento. Ringraziamo tutto il team e principalmente Florence, Patrick, Antony che sono stati fantastici, come tutti gli altri dipendenti. La colazione è molto abbondante, direi che manca solo bacon e Nutella perché sia ​​perfetta 🤩 le camere sono ben insonorizzate e gradita la piscina riscaldata. Anche il bar sul tetto è molto carino e il Mojito è eseguito molto bene. Grazie a voi. Il prezzo del ristorante forse andrebbe abbassato perché questi sono i limiti di prezzo in Europa. L'Oakwood è stato usato da anni, sempre un hotel a prezzi ragionevoli nel cuore della città di Nairobi. Abbiamo deciso di controllare il weekend e non è cambiato molto oltre a una nuova entrata che è completamente fuori carattere con il resto di questo piccolo hotel accogliente. Le griglie di acciaio e le tessere bianche offshore tolgono davvero il vecchio fascino della scuola che è sempre stato qualcosa di cui ci piaceva.Si sente come camminare in un'intervento dentale antiseptico e abbiamo immediatamente perso le vecchie pareti di legno che esulano il fascino e il calore. Il resto del legno di Oakwood è molto lo stesso. Le meravigliose camere e mobili sono ancora invariate. Purtroppo sembra che il proprietario abbia deciso di aumentare il costo di una birra fresca fredda a un KSH 400 estorsionato! Questo è stato oggetto di un ampio dibattito con il personale disappunto che ha dichiarato che i clienti stava saltando per un prezzo più regolare in impianti meno ferrosi, purtroppo abbiamo deciso di seguire il gregge e di muoversi! Vergogna vedere un vecchio stabilimento così venerabile cadere nella stessa trappola di tanti altri vecchi charmanti .....!

Dear Marble Arch Hotel Staff, Hanna & Jan would like to thank you for all the enjoyable stays we had in your hotel over the last 8 months. Your super friendly and hugely helpful staff has made our stays more than excellent. Amongst them but not limited to: manager Immaculate Kamau, the reception team Eva, Feddie and Sam, waiter Alex, room service Charles Mwangi and many others. Every time our taste buds were spoiled with tasteful dishes prepared by chef Charles Mbugua and frequently we enjoyed the lunch buffet. But the cherry on the cake was the hotel awarding us the suite room following our wedding. We have been appreciating it a lot keeping memorable thoughts forever. Thanks so much for your highly professional service! Hope to visit your hotel soon again. Hanna & Jan
