Osom Resort

Non potevo dare un soggiorno migliore. Sono andato con 2 amici e siamo stati per una notte prima di prendere il traghetto per paros. Siamo arrivati a un caloroso benvenuto così meraviglioso. Dorothy e Anastasia hanno davvero reso il soggiorno meraviglioso. Sfortunatamente abbiamo cancellato la vacanza l'anno scorso a causa della pandemia ed entrambi sono stati meravigliosi nell'aiutarci con i voucher/riprenotazione. All'arrivo, nonostante il nostro poco tempo, sono stati anche molto utili nel fornire suggerimenti sui posti dove mangiare, visitare e come muoversi. Se vieni dall'aeroporto, possono organizzare un trasferimento per te che probabilmente è più economico di un uber o di un taxi a € 16 a persona (tariffa del taxi = € 40 uber = € 36 tariffa standard ovunque sull'isola). Le camere sono molto pulite e hanno una buona quantità di servizi. Forniscono gel doccia, shampoo, balsamo, ferro e asse da stiro, asciugacapelli. Grazioso anche un balconcino con una linea per appendere le tue cose ad asciugare. La piscina è favolosa, i panorami sono incredibili. Facile da raggiungere Ornos. C'erano più adulti/famiglie con bambini adolescenti, ma da quello che ho visto potrebbe fare appello a una vasta gamma di vacanzieri. La colazione è decente, à la carte piuttosto che a buffet con cibi caldi come frittata/frittata di uova bianche ecc. Nel complesso piacevole e ci tornerei sicuramente.

Really great Hotel. From the start at reception that let us check in much earlier to the end where they let us check out later. Of course that depends on their availability but still extremely nice. Breakfast is superb and service everywhere is superb. The views from the room and pool are stunning and three Greek taverns are within a 5 minute walk and on the Ornos beach.

We had a lovely stay at the Osom resort, the rooms were lovely with a great view, the pool also had a great view! Breakfast was brilliant with a great variety of options and you're in a fantastic location. The staff were on hand to help with anything and very friendly.

Wow! We could not get enough of this place. Firstly we were greeted by the most wonderful staff, Anastasia and Dorothy, who made our stay a dream. They were always on hand should we need anything. The accomodation was beautiful, relaxing and clean. The pool was delightful! We loved the breakfast also, and it was served very fast. The location is perfect - just a few minutes from the local bus stop, and about a 5 mins walk to the nearby beach. Still out of the hussle and bussel of town though so it was super relaxing! We absolutely adored our stay here and cannot wait to return. Highly recommended!

We recently had a lovely stay in this small boutique hotel located about a 10 minute walk from Ornos village & beach. The main access is up a long gradual hill or via the back road up a very steep hill to/from Korfos beach. On arrival, we were greeted warmly by Dorothy on reception who informed us of the hotel facilities and the local area. Our room was a Deluxe Suite Sea View which was slightly different in layout to the website pictures. It just about offered views over to Ornos from our balcony at the front. The rear-view window looked out to Korfos beach. It was spacious and comfortable and kept very clean throughout our stay. Our only observations of the room were that it could have done with a small chest of drawers, a longer wardrobe length to hang up long dresses and the doors to the shower and toilet opening out instead of inwards. The breakfast menu is rightly highly praised but it’s very filling! Not a criticism but if you would like lunch later, you found you were too full up, so I think the hotel is missing a trick here. When we did have lunch and drinks, we found they were very good and quite reasonably priced. A big thank you to Orlando on the bar and the cook in the kitchen (sorry, can’t remember her name). The pool and bar area are very relaxing and perfect for chilling out. The pool was sea water so a bit salty but very refreshing. During our stay the poolside beds were never full. Overall, though, we judged that this 3-Star establishment punches well above its weight. It should be noted that Mykonos is very windy! Almost hair-dryer like. There is nothing on Korfos beach because its too windy for restaurants etc – you only have kite/surfers using it. The other beach (Ornos) is more sheltered and very busy. As other reviewers have mentioned, the sun bed prices are eye-watering! They all operate a tiered price system so the daily price for two beds was 90 Euros for those along the water’s edge, 80 Euros for the row behind and 70 Euros for behind them. In addition, all beds are quite close to each other as well. We weren’t aware of any offer of buying a drink or meal will get you a cheaper option. We stayed in September and it looked to us that most of the beds remained unused during our stay. There are a number of restaurants along Ornos beach and on the side roads in the village – I don’t think we had a bad meal during our stay. Prices were reasonably for the island and portion sizes decent. You will pay extra for beachside establishments. These were our favourites in Ornos: • To Apomero – the best Greek restaurant – well worth the praise – we ate there three times. Booking advisable as it gets very busy during the evenings. • Lefteris – more traditional and cheaper Greek restaurant – gets very busy (more locals than tourists) but didn’t need to pre-book. Ate there a few times. • Appagio – around the other side of the bay (a good 20 minute walk from the hotel) – lovely waterside fish restaurant
