As with the other reviews, the service here is amazing. You have the option to have your breakfast delivered to your room. During check-in, the staff will personally bring you to your room. If you arrived early or plan to leave sun moon lake much later after check out, you can leave your bags or luggage to the staff to keep. Staff here also offers tickets to the ferry, bicycle rental, cable car and other services available. The only con is that there is no lakeview, but everything else is very accessible. Bus station, Ferry station, 7-11 and restaurants are just a few minutes walk from the hotel. As for the room itself, the toilet is equipped with bidet. There's also some snacks and teabags for you. Electric mosquito repellent is also available if there's a need to, but I did not encounter any bugs in the room. Room is also modernly designed and most importantly, clean and bugs-free! Bed is of soft and comfortable type. I nearly dozed off while lying on bed. Wifi's strong as well. Would highly recommend to others who plans to visit sun moon lake. This hotel has almost everything you need, convenience, amazing service, and good food.

Pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The room is a tatami room with comfortable futon beds. The highlight is the lovely view of the lake on two sides of the room. The layout is similar to what one finds in a typical Japanese onsen hotel with wc that is separate from the bathroom. Pajamas are provided. So nice to be able to soak in our private onsen bath after a day of activities in SML. The breakfast is amazing in terms of quantity and quality; it is however geared towards Asian food. Bagels are delicious. The hotel is opposite one of the entrances to the walkway around the lake so it’s convenient for strolls around the lake. Wish we could stay for a few more days.

We stayed at The Cotswolds Villa in Cingjing for three nights. It offers a pleasant base for visiting the area. The staff at the villa were very helpful throughout our stay, which contributed positively to our experience. The location is quite convenient. It is situated near Cingjing Farm, and we were able to walk over to the farm easily. One area where we felt there could be an improvement was the breakfast. While the meal was fine, we noted that the variety of options could be increased, especially for guests staying multiple nights. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay, notable for the helpful staff and easy access to Cingjing Farm.

We love this villa so much! The room was very warm and clean, the interior of the lobby and restaurant were awesome, and mountain view at balcony was stunning! We had dinner at the villa restaurant, you gotta book it with the hotel at least 1hr before their set timing and there was no menu, you get whatever they prepare. The food was absolutely tasty and portion was generous! 4-star for location as we had to take the local bus to the Qingjing Farm, and the bus frequency was one bus per hr. Other than this everything else was perfect!

The hotel is in a very good location, making it convenient to get around and explore the area. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and helpful, which made the stay pleasant and welcoming. The bathroom appears to have been renovated recently and is clean and modern. However, the carpet in the room and in the common areas are quite dated and does not meet current standards. An update would significantly improve the overall comfort and impression of the room. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay thanks to the location and service, but some room upgrades—particularly the carpet—would make a noticeable difference.

The room was quite small and did not feel very clean. The floor was sticky, and overall housekeeping could be improved. Considering the relatively high room rate, the room size and facilities did not feel fully worth the price paid. Breakfast must be ordered in advance and consisted of a sandwich with either black tea or milk tea. Although the reservation was made for two guests, I stayed alone, and the staff did not ask whether I would like to receive the second breakfast set that had already been paid for as part of the booking. It would be better if the staff could check this more carefully, especially since the breakfast portion was quite small. Receiving the additional set included in the reservation would have felt more appropriate and reasonable. However, the property does offer complimentary bicycle rentals, which was a nice touch. There is also a water dispenser available, along with complimentary tea and coffee for guests.

Room was clean, comfy and spacious. Great service from the staff, including a tasty and quick breakfast of ********* Toast. Amazing view and area outside to sit and stargaze. Only issue we had was there were some insects (stinkbugs) in the room. However, we told the staff and they immediately reassured us that they were harmless and vacuumed them up. Unfortunately it was breeding season for stinkbugs. Overall, we recommend staying here, but if you’re a bit squeamish then avoid stinkbug breeding season.

We had a great stay! The host was incredibly helpful and friendly, providing excellent recommendations for local attractions and even helping us secure discounted tickets. The room was clean and offered a beautiful view. A highlight was the breakfast—simple yet delicious. To top it off, the host kindly arranged for staff to drop us off at the Shuishe main bus station. L'hotel era bello e pulito. L'abbiamo prenotato perché ha tubi caldi di primavera all'interno delle camere. Ci è piaciuto molto. Ci è piaciuto anche il pranzo e il colazione a buffet. Abbiamo avuto un buon soggiorno di una notte per visitare il lago di Sun Moon, come è vicino al lato pier dove inizia la pista di bicicletta. Ci siamo rimasti solo per una notte, quindi non abbiamo potuto utilizzare le loro altre strutture.

I stayed at this hotel one night. The hotel provides free bikes. When I tried to check out a bike, two staff members talked to me. When I asked which bike I could ride faster, they did not answer my question. Some bikes are just very slow no matter what we do, so I don't want to get one like that. When I asked how long it would take if I wanted to ride in each direction from the hotel without a stop, the male staff member answered my question, but the female staff member kept on talking ”Don't ride fast. You are going to get into accidents.” Whenever I talked about ”fast” like ”how fast”, ”how long it takes”, she just kept on talking ”Fast is not good.” I am a mature individual and I will not go fast if I could not. She just refused to provide information that I was looking for. As long as I return the bike intact, the rest is my own responsibility.
