L'atteggiamento del personale dell'hotel nei confronti del servizio è davvero ottimo! Fin dal momento del check-in abbiamo percepito la loro ospitalità. Ha aiutato a spostare i bagagli nella tenda e mi ha illustrato attentamente le attrazioni circostanti e le precauzioni da prendere. La sera venivano servite anche bevande calde. Nella fredda notte del deserto, questo calore era così prezioso e mi faceva sentire a casa.

L'hotel è bellissimo e vorrei ringraziare in particolare Flora, la squadra del ristorante e il personale del bar per il loro servizio caldo e attento. Tuttavia, sono stato deluso dal maneggiamento di un grande evento durante il mio soggiorno. I clienti sono stati informati solo il giorno dell’arrivo del gruppo che l’installazione dell’evento e il test microfono avrebbero avuto luogo. Ciò che è stato particolarmente frustrante è stato il fatto che la struttura si è tenuta sul terzo piano terrazzo sopra il lobby, il principale punto dell’hotel per guardare il sole, che ha influenzato sia l’atmosfera pacifica che l’accesso ad uno dei punti di vista della proprietà. Credo che gli ospiti dovrebbero essere informati in anticipo quando si programmano grandi eventi e dato che possono decidere se desiderano rimanere in tali date. This hotel provides outstanding service. The front desk staff were always friendly, patient, and willing to answer all of my questions. They went above and beyond to help resolve any issues we had. A special thanks to our guest service manager, Xiao Zhang (小张), who was incredibly attentive throughout our stay. She stayed on top of every request and made us feel well taken care of. After we checked out, my son accidentally left some of his belongings at the hotel. I contacted Xiao Zhang, and she quickly helped locate everything, and promised to send them back to our provided address . We truly appreciated her professionalism and kindness. The hotel room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast offered a great variety of delicious options to suit different tastes. Overall, we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The excellent service made our experience even more memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

We made a mistake choosing this hotel: the word “international” led us to believe it would be better prepared to receive foreign guests, but that was not our experience. That said, the staff’s service was excellent at all times. Although they did not speak English, they consistently made the effort to use translation tools to communicate with us and assist us in the best possible way, which we truly appreciated. The hotel was almost empty. The first breakfast took place in a huge dining area where we were the only guests, which meant the variety was quite limited. There was some Chinese food and a coffee machine, but there were no options commonly expected by international travelers, such as fruit, cereals, yogurt, or bread. That same day, we were informed that the rest of the breakfasts would be delivered directly to our room. The staff made a continuous effort to ensure we felt comfortable with this arrangement, confirming the delivery time with us each day. The room was spacious and comfortable. However, the cleanliness did not match the hotel’s level and price: the carpet had visible stains, and finding a toothpick at the entrance made it clear that cleaning standards were not adequate. In addition, the amount of shampoo and soap provided was extremely limited—again, not consistent with the quality one would expect given the building and overall appearance of the hotel. In summary, we would like to highlight the kindness and dedication of the staff, but we believe the hotel still has important aspects to improve, especially regarding international standards and cleanliness.

Ho fatto il check-in a mezzanotte, il ragazzo alla reception, Xiao Zhong, è stato molto accogliente e mi ha persino fatto un upgrade a una suite. Il giorno dopo, quando ho chiesto di prolungare il soggiorno, non c'era più la stessa tipologia di camera, ma Xiao Qin e Xiao Shi mi hanno aiutato a trovare una soluzione e sono riuscito a rimanere nella stessa stanza. Se dovessi tornare in zona, sceglierei di soggiornare qui di nuovo.

We had a wonderful stay here. The room was big, the design very relaxing. The hotel is very close to the singing dunes, perfect for a sunrise visit - and only around RMB 15 away from the town centre making it very well placed.  The staff were incredibly friendly and breakfast was delicious! They also served a fabulous local desert soup in the evenings which we all waited eagerly for after trying on our first night.  Last but not least, the laundry facilities were very helpful and the bathtub of the room really great.  Highly recommend Poman!

I stayed at this hotel at the beginning of May, and it was a great experience. The location is amazing — feels like you’re in the middle of the desert—which gave me a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of city life.  The room I stayed in was absolutely beautiful and very cozy. The hotel owner and staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. They assisted me with various inquiries and even helped me take some great photos, which I really appreciated. The on-site activities were a highlight of my stay. I got to try camel riding, sand sliding, and even riding a motorcycle through the dunes. These were all new experiences for me, and I had so much fun. Overall, I had a great time and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing desert getaway. The only downside was that the hotel posted photos of me on their WeChat account without asking for my permission first. I didn’t feel comfortable with that, and I hope they’ll consider asking their guests before sharing any images in the future.

The hotel is located outside the city of Dunhuang, in fact, I never visited the city. But it's close to the train station and to the Mogao Caves Visitor Center, which is the reason most people come to Dunhuang. The staff does not speak English but will try to help you as much as possible, with a cell phone translator. The room was very big, I would say it was the biggest so far, very comfortable, with a view of an agricultural field. At night, if the sky is clear, you can watch the stars since there is no light pollution. The nearest restaurant was about 600 m away, and they had to call the cook to come from home when I got there. After that I decided to dine on instant noodles. The hotel staff invited me to eat dinner with their family. I noticed that later in the evening a bus full of tourist arrived to the hotel. Apparently that's who they cater for. Since I did not get up early, the breakfast was basically finished and cold.

Ho passato molto tempo a fare ricerche online, desiderosa di vedere il cielo stellato sopra il deserto del Gobi. Il giorno del check-in era nuvoloso, ma le nuvole si sono diradate quella notte, rivelando un cielo pieno di stelle. I bambini sono rimasti a bocca aperta! Quando si viaggia, si desidera sempre vedere paesaggi diversi. Il servizio dell'hotel è stato eccellente. Dopo aver effettuato la prenotazione, ci hanno contattato per consigliarci guide turistiche, ristoranti e attività locali. Posizione: si trova a circa dieci minuti di auto (circa dieci chilometri) dalla Crescent Lake Scenic Area. Le camere con vista sulle stelle hanno finestre a tutta altezza che offrono una vista sul deserto, e le camere con vista sulle montagne hanno un rapporto qualità-prezzo davvero ottimo.
