An Unforgettable Stay with ”Superhuman” Service in Weishui Memory Hot Spring ”Our first trip to China was made unforgettable thanks to the incredible team at this hotel. Located right in the heart of the vibrant Tai’an Ancient Village, the hotel is surrounded by lively local shops and friendly faces. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted at the door by the owner (or manager) who personally helped with our luggage and escorted us to our room. Despite being busy preparing the restaurant on the first floor, every single staff member paused what they were doing just to wave and smile at us. It’s rare to find such a warm, genuine welcome these days! A special shout-out to the receptionist who rushed from the kitchen to assist us. Even though there was a language barrier, their 'service level' was god-tier. She skillfully used a translation app and even created a WeChat group with 8 staff members just to ensure the two of us were well taken care of! Truly mind-blowing hospitality. Our room on the 3rd floor (yes, there’s an elevator!) was pristine. We loved the welcome tea set, the natural light from the sunroof, and the stunning panoramic window view of the ancient village. It felt like stepping into a classic martial arts novel. We fell in love with everything here—the hotel, the village, and the mountain. Our only regret is staying for just one night. Next time, we’re definitely booking for a full week!”

Prima del Capodanno lunare, ho deciso di uscire da sola per rilassarmi. Dopo aver scelto e ripensato, ho scelto questa famiglia ospitante. È molto tranquilla e rilassante in montagna. Anche il servizio di maggiordomo alla reception è molto cordiale ed entusiasta. La camera non delude. È molto pulita. Anche la colazione è completa. Ci tornerò. Petali nella vasca da bagno: il bagno ai petali di rosa è fantastico. Latte della buonanotte.

When you yearn for a different lifestyle but not ready to commit yourself to changes? For me, traveling is a way to get a sneak peek into “what would it be”, even if just for a moment. I feel incredibly fortunate to have come across Several Mountain Houses, and I’m grateful for the owners’ generosity in creating such a beautiful place and sharing their mountain life with guests.   Many guests have already praised the lovely courtyard, the nature-surrounded rooms, the sensorial bed linens, and the warm, earthy aesthetic of the space. I wholeheartedly agree. Beyond that, there was something even more special. I was wowed by the tidy kitchen, thoughtfully designed and completed with high-quality appliances and tableware. It’s a place that move your mind from “I’m staying in a B&B” to “I’m staying in a home.” The cherry on top? Having the owner made you a perfect cup of latte or cappuccino in the morning. Of all my travels in China, this is the first homestay where I’ve experienced that personal touch.   We arrived by Didi and had to drop off by the roadside, cross a wooden bridge, and then tackle a steep hill path.  We called for help and the owner came down to meet us and made sure we felt welcomed. My friend told me she felt like we had stepped into a scene from a web novel—the little challenge at the start, the homey atmosphere, the owners and their charming “career life to mountain life” story all made the experience very special.   I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful mountain retreat. It's the perfect spot to unwind and reset.    A small tip: if you're in the mood for trekking, head up to the Wulong Gorge scenic area and work your way back. If we had known, we would totally skip Baiyun (White Cloud) temple / village and spend more time relaxing at the house.

Our family had a truly wonderful stay at Song Hotel in Dujiangyan. The environment is absolutely beautiful，peaceful, and perfectly designed for a relaxing getaway. The hotel’s stunning Chinese architecture adds a unique charm, with elegant traditional design elements that blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings, creating a serene and culturally rich atmosphere. What made our experience even more memorable was the outstanding service. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout our stay, always going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. A very special thank you to our housekeeper, Lori, whose kindness and dedication did not go unnoticed, and to Lechuan, the photographer, who captured such lovely moments for my daughter. Ho prenotato un soggiorno di 3 notti in questo soggiorno. La sua posizione è leggermente sopra Tai An An Ancient Town, a 1 km. Il servizio dei butlers è stato fantastico, perché sono stato aggiunto in un gruppo di chat con tutti i butlers e tutti sono stati molto rispondenti alle mie esigenze e domande. Apprezzo molto il servizio di navetta che mi permette di prenotare come e quando mi piace andare a Tai A o al punto di partenza. Ogni mattina mi sveglio sentire gli uccelli che si svegliano. Poiché questo è un soggiorno a casa, non c'è prova di suono. Ma le penderie sono fornite nella stanza. Il colazione giornaliera gratuita era gioioso, soprattutto la zuppa di noodle cheton. Bere il tè pomeriggio complimentare con snacks nel mio balcone era bello. La vista libera delle montagne e le nuvole a bassa ubriacone sono terapeutiche. Il mio posto era il più bello, e il suolo era molto freddo, mentre il suolo era in acqua calda, con un paesaggio di montagna non bloccato, e io ordinai la zuppa di pollo erbaceo per cena, e veniva con due servi di ortaggi e riso libero. La quantità di cibo era molto riempita per due di noi. Raccomando fortemente questo posto per chiunque voglia di detoxare nel campo montano. Anche se il prezzo era un po 'sostanziale, ma vale ogni denaro.

It truly felt like being back home. The host was very friendly and welcoming, making guests feel comfortable from the moment of arrival. A simple yet satisfying breakfast was provided, including porridge, soy milk, pau, corn, potatoes, and other vegetable dishes. The heating was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, and I slept soundly through the night. The place looked exactly like the photos, and soaking my feet before bed made the stay even more relaxing.

Un'esperienza deliziosa! Dal momento in cui siamo scesi dal vagone, arrivando al Six Senses, siamo rimasti subito incantati dalla freschezza dell'aria e dall'atmosfera. Semplice ma così elegante! Sono rimasto assolutamente sbalordito da come è stato realizzato e dalla perfetta integrazione con la natura che ha elevato l'intera esperienza di soggiorno al SS a un altro livello. Ad esempio, la sala colazione è stata davvero piacevole non solo per il cibo, ma anche per il design degli spazi e l'organizzazione del programma (c'era una dimostrazione di tai chi mentre facevamo colazione, che non avrei mai pensato fosse così piacevole e rilassante!). Ho dovuto provare la lezione di tai chi dopo ed è stata così rinfrescante, energizzante e tranquilla! Un meraviglioso inizio di giornata! La camera era estremamente confortevole e tutto era progettato e organizzato in modo impeccabile. Questa volta non ho avuto abbastanza tempo per esplorare tutto ciò che SS offre per il divertimento, quindi spero di tornarci con la mia famiglia, perché questo posto può sicuramente soddisfare tutte le esigenze, dai più piccoli agli anziani, con la massima attenzione. Il personale è stato attento e ha dimostrato un'ospitalità impeccabile, come ci si aspetta dai migliori. Un ringraziamento speciale a Hickey che si è preso cura di noi durante il nostro soggiorno, soddisfacendo prontamente tutte le nostre esigenze e assicurandosi che ci divertissimo dall'inizio alla fine. Un ringraziamento anche al personale della reception che ci ha preparato una scatola piena di biscotti da portare con noi, sapendo che eravamo stanchi e affamati e che ce ne stavamo andando dopo una lunga escursione in montagna.

A very huge hotel with a lot of amenities. Our 2 night stay here was great, if not we have other journey at other city, we would extend our stay here. Firstly, the hotel is located at a v peaceful area, very little tourist, around 2min away to food places if you take didi, 20-30min to dujiangyan, depending on how fast and furious your driver is. It is very near 青城山，熊猫乐园 and 熊猫谷。 Next, the breakfast selection is amazing!!!! Ranging from chinese to western food. 3 large table for food!! There’s congee, prawn, fried egg, boiled egg, tea leaf egg, vegetables, pork ribs, ham, cheese cream puff cereal, stew beef, tones of variety of pastries and cooked food and it doesn’t disappoint you. How I wish i could upload videos for the food taken… 🥹🥹🥹 The hotel room is great too, very spacious. We got upgraded to a room witj private hotspring. But we did went to explore the pool and hotspring outside. The staff are super friendly!! Bringing us around and help us with our enquiry, regardless the staff at lobby or tje hotspring area. Look forward to my future trip here!! But do take note if you are buying taobao, only shunfeng send to the hotel, you will need to go to the nearest pick up point for your parcel collection.

L'hotel era praticamente vuoto, ma il personale era professionista. Le camere erano un po 'di declino in pochi punti - ma in generale era estremamente piacevole e di lusso in altre aree. In generale, una raccomandazione certa. E'una fattoria di tè di lavoro. Siamo svegliati presto per raccogliere foglie di tè per l'esperienza (gratuito ma vale 68 yuan) e se si raccoglie abbastanza si può portare al maestro del tè per poi sperimentare la frizione del tè in un buco per trasformare le foglie fresche in tè verde secco. Le borse di tè nelle stanze sono fatte dall'hotel stesso e del gusto grande. Le esperienze più gratuite sono incluse con il soggiorno, tra cui le classi di birra di tè e di indossare la hanfu. Pensavo che fosse incredibile valore per i soldi. Il culo privato è grande e ha portato un sacchetto di erbe a casa per gettare in un bagno medico. Le camere sono spaziose con una vista eccellente - e DEVO apprezzare il numero incredibile di commutatori di luce che vi permette di avere qualsiasi combinazione di ambiente luminoso. Minori scontri - vi verranno moschee nella zona alfresco durante i pasti, mi siederò all'interno la prossima volta. Abbiamo dovuto anche fare la doccia per molto tempo prima che l'acqua calda potesse uscire. Le socket di carica sono un po' affamate con molte polveri nelle socket e alcune uscite potrebbero non funzionare a seconda della tua fortuna. Le socket standard funzionano per lo più, ma le socket USB potrebbero non funzionare. La W/C intelligente è anche leggermente disfunzionante, ma funziona in gran parte come previsto.

I liked the (Chinese-style) breakfast. The staff was helpful and they even took me down to the front of the mountain ticket office. The food at night (beef and bamboo shoots) was not bad. I stayed in the garden view room, with two single beds. The bed was comfortable. The tea in the room was really nice Maofeng tea. The style of the room didn’t scream luxury to me (not the quiet kind either). As for the location, I thought it would be nice to be in mountainous surroundings but it didn’t prove to be very convenient for my needs. I arrived on Friday and went to the front mountain on Saturday. Someone from the hotel very kindly dropped me off near the ticket office. A little aside: After visiting the mountain I decided on a spontaneous trip to Nanqiao (the south bridge) in Dujiangyan (I had not seen it at night on an earlier trip there). It was not that hard to find a taxi back, but keep in mind a small surcharge of 3.9% for taking you up the mountain). On Sunday I left the hotel too late as it was already very busy on the road to the back mountain ticket the taxi driver did not want to take me there (cause it would mean being stuck in traffic for hours either no compensation for all this waste of time) but offered to take me to The high speed railway station from which I could take a bus (passing hotel again!). Obviously the bus also ended up in a traffic jam, but in any case I did make it there in the end. Luckily I took my luggage and left it at a shop next to the foot passenger ticket office for 5 yuan. Unfortunately the hot water spring is only open in winter. They have a nice pool though. I enjoyed my stay but didn’t find it very luxurious although it is rare to have a hotel with a pool in China, so that was cool. At around 50 euros per night it was okay value for money.
