Our family of five – one grandma, 80+years old, two adults and two teenagers, had a wonderful time at Huangguoshu (Yellow Fruit Tree) in Guizhou. Huangguoshu Waterfall is the largest waterfall in Asia, which is 67 meters high and 83.3 meters wide. The whole Huangguoshu scenic area comprised of 18 waterfalls, making it the world’s largest waterfall cluster. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The breakfast fried noodle was our favourite. After the daily adventurous outing to the national park, we enjoyed the nice shower and were able to sleep soundly at night, the room is clean and new, outside environment was peacefully quiet. On the day of departure, our self-pre-arranged transporter changed the vehicle from a 6-seater SUV to a 21 seater bus, which we rejected. Thankfully, the hotel manager helped to call up his transport contacts and was able to arrange a comfortable 6-seater vehicle to get us to Anshun Railway Station. The staff at the hotel are all local people, so they know the place and the people well. This boutique hotel is highly recommended. Our family of five bring back with us wonderful memories of our stay here. This homestay is heaven on earth!😍 The location is nestled between the beauty of nature and the beauty of what man can create, the astonishing baling bridge. The hotel is far from the city and restaurants but the staff do tell you that in advance so they can prepare lunch and dinner for you. I found it to be the perfect escape in nature✨ The staff were so friendly and helped with everything I needed. Loved this stay and would definitely come back in the future.🩵🩵🩵 ⚠️Do book the rooms with the bathtubs😍

Fantastic hotel situated in an incredibly well-preserved Ming dynasty village. Our hosts were very accommodating and the room was fantastic - very clean and a comfortable bed! There are many things to see here, including a Buddhist temple of 500 years one of the mountains the town in nestled beneath. Far different from the new old towns we saw in Lijiang and shangri-la, this village is the real deal and just unbelievable to walk through and explore. We also enjoyed walking down to the nearby town outside the gates. The Karst mountains in this area are extremely dramatic and beautiful to behold. There is a speciality coffee shop and a place to get breakfast near the gate - we suspect that we were visiting outside of peak time as it was generally quiet but that suited us just fine. The host made us wonton and dumpling soup in a vegetable broth which was very nice. The hosts are very kind and they have prepared a wonderful place from which to explore this very special village. It is about a 40 minute taxi from Anshun West station and 20-30 minute taxi into Anshun city. Thank you!

We were originally choosing between this hotel and another hotel just around the corner. Upon arrival we checked the other hotel first but we didn't like it at all. So we walked to this hotel which was on a totally different level in all aspects. We were impressed by the new and stylish interior and, most importantly, we were greeted in the most hospitable way and offered a big room of a higher category than the basic room that we actually booked. The bellman walked with us to the first hotel and helped us bring our mutilple suitcases to their hotel. There were few guests in the hotel so we had a very relaxing stay in our comfortable room. The front desk staff also helped arrange a car to the train station at a much lower price than we had paid when we arrived from the station on our check-in day. We highly recommend this hotel when you visit Huangguoshu Waterfalls. The hotel provides a complimentary transfer to the entrance of the scenic area where you can actually walk on foot as it's only 5 minutes on foot from the hotel.
