I have read so many comments and I was actually not going to write a review because almost all of the staff was amazing. Some people complained about people not speaking English. It's Haiti, they speak creole and French, duh and most of the visitors speak English and would gladly translate. Okay the reception area is okay, there was one staff that had an attitude, but the entire staff was extremely nice. The bar area was clean and the drinks were average, but the cremas, was perfect, I just hated the small cups that had me going back for so much. The food, the food was so basic, the breakfast had variety, but the eggs were so salty, I could not eat it. If you missed breakfast the in between snack was not good, the hamburger meat tasted off, like canned meat, the hot dogs tasted salty and weird too. The drinks that they offer for breakfast are limited, they were weird about it, but they did offer me a different drink, when I asked, The lunch and dinner did not have much variety and I wanted some Haitian food, I wanted avacodo, watermelon, coconut which was all over the place, fried pork was not what I know as griot, etc, however since it was included I can't complain too much. I purchased lobster from a man named Harold, the best lobster and fried plaintain Ive ever had in my life. Oh yes I spent a pretty penny on lobster and Harold was such a nice guy, great conversation. My hotel room, the bathroom is weird, the shower glass is half open, so when you shower there is a small pool in the bathroom, when it rained so did the bathroom, and yes the bathroom could have been more up to date, the cleaning staff amazing, my window door was broken, my tv didnt work either. They did offer me something for my troubles, which was fair, they did offer me another room, but they should have made sure the room was up to par, before sticking me there. I also had to speak with 2 people to get accommodated, that's where I encountered the 1 and only attitude staff member, she did have to deal with an irate man that tried to sneak in a young looking girl into the hotel, so I gave her a pass. I wet jet skiing for the 1st time, I had a blast, they trained me properly. The beach is amazing, but bring beach shoes, because the rocks hurt to walk on, the water is calm and inviting. The pool is fun, but always dirty to be honest. I have no idea why, it may be the people, the hair products, but it always looks dirty, I do suggest bringing in noodles etc, and do not let the kids use it. I come prepared and the kids asked to use my things, I bought noodles and inflatables, the destroyed my noodles and the inflatable, so don't be nice and let people use your things if you plan to enjoy it. I liked the experience prior to this trip so decided to stay 8 days, but I probably won't do that again. I would like the room to be nicer and the food to be better, before I spend a lot of time there. Someone complained about the lizards that don't bother anyone, they are outside and cute, w
