Hotel in zona Aparcamiento Torres, Montevideo

Excelente todo, la ubicación, las habitaciones, el desayuno y sobretodo el trato del personal. Sumamente recomendable! Sin duda para repetir. Estuvimos en una habitación de 4 y fue super cómodo todo , la cocina americana un plus.

I hope that this hotel understands that needs a major update/renovation Our suites were fine in the sixteen floor with great views My room had the furniture jaded with stains Only one phone out of two that usually have I spent the whole stay with the phone not working (the policy we will make it right did not happen) I had to use my personal phone to contact my partner My TV had the volume super low Had to call two times and was finally fixed Both remote controls with wasted batteries We had breakfast included but we gave up after the first day The staff looks like tired upset to be there The quality of pastries as croissants and breads are super lame No spoons for your coffee The excused using the COVID but saw coffee spoons in room service lame cold cuts cold eggs and uncooked bacon I asked the girl in the stand to cook it well and it was returned in the same way raw pork us unhealthy (policy to make it right did not exist) The front desk staff is great but the seating area is a shame with old and stained seats This is a great property but a renovation is needed and the restaurant needs new staff and Chef

L'hotel è stato molto deluso per me e mia moglie. Guardando le foto e le recensioni precedenti, ho davvero pensato che saremmo rimasti in un grande hotel, ma la realtà era diversa. Abbiamo prenotato una stanza standard, le foto non mostrano quanto sono piccole. La stanza che ci hanno dato era sul secondo piano, e la finestra era diretta a una macchina a aria condizionata centrale (suppongo che sia). È una grande macchina, una vista terribile, ma anche un rumore terribile. La spegnino alle 6:30 e la spegnino alle 8:30. Se vuoi dormire in essa è impossibile, o se vuoi prendere un po' di pisolino in pomeriggio, anche impossibile. Oltre a che c'è una porta nella stanza, alla stanza successiva, è chiaramente chiusa, ma si può sentire tutto dal vostro quartiere. La vasca è buona, le tovaglie sono buone e pulite. Ma quando si fa una doccia, il pavimento si bagna, anche con la scatola chiusa, probabilmente è un po'fugata. Abbiamo chiamato la ricezione e la risposta era che dovevano chiamare un tecnico per ripararlo, e hanno risolto la questione, ma il giorno dopo era di nuovo rotto. Fortunatamente il tempo non era così freddo, e fu possibile lasciare la finestra aperta, ma abbiamo dovuto affrontare il rumore che veniva dall’esterno; abbiamo chiesto di cambiare una stanza migliore non appena arrivammo. Ma il ricevitore ha detto che l'hotel era pieno, e che il giorno dopo avrebbero una stanza gratuita, in una categoria superiore, ma era necessario pagare la differenza per l'aggiornamento. Abbiamo detto che abbiamo il vantaggio dell'oro da hoteis.com, e questo aggiornamento sarebbe gratuito per noi. Non appena abbiamo parlato del vantaggio, ci hanno detto che dobbiamo aspettare il giorno dopo e vedere se la stanza sarebbe ancora disponibile, ma, naturalmente, non era più gratuita. As a Canadian traveler with large family, this boutique hotel in central Montevideo was one of the finest places I have stayed at. The front lobby staff (especially Laura) were incredibly helpful and English was very good. They are available on whatsapp to answer questions prior to your visit. The roof top breakfast dining was really great spread with hot meals. The location is generally safe and walking distance to the central commercial district. The famous Palacio Salvo and Plaza Independencia are a block away. Lots of eateries (Americano Cafe really good), pharmacies, laundry, and convenience stores. The history of revitilzation of this hotel reminded me of the incredible boutique hotels of Queen St W in Toronto (a bit like Drake Hotel with a more family feel). The rooms are not large as it is an older building conversion but offers a comfortable and clean upgrade.

L'atteggiamento del servizio della ricetta è buono, la stanza è in regola e il viaggio è in ordine.L'unico dolore è che il weekend è finito, il bar di tutta la strada è un carnaval di notte, il suono di Judy è molto dolce e influenza il sonno.La prossima stima non vivrà più.

This place was perfect in every way. The check-in, the room, the service, and the dining room staff were all wonderful. Our room was clean, the water was hot, and the bed was comfortable. This hotel is ideally located as well. The mall and grocery are within walking distance, and some excellent restaurants are also within walking distance.

We stayed here for one night in mid-January and found it to be a wonderful location, right in the heart of the old city. We were walking distance to the port, areas of the old town, and many attractions and plazas. The staff was very friendly and happy to answer questions in English, recommending restaurants and sights to see. They were also happy to hold our luggage for us the day we checked out until our afternoon departure. Each room is apparently unique, and ours was beautiful, with a comfortable bed and an obviously updated bathroom with modern fittings and conveniences. Our room was on the first floor (one above ground level) and we did hear some road noise in the morning as the city started walking, so if you're concerned about noise you may want to request a higher floor. Breakfast was included in our stay and had very good options, both hot and cold.

I stayed at this lovely hotel a number of times in April and May of this year 2023.This hotel is located in the heart of the Ciutad Vieja,the Old City, in Montevideo.The location is very convenient to the sights,attractions and restaurants of this part of the city.Check-in was handled speedily and the room I was given was clean and inviting.I want to pay tribute to the staff who were always friendly and helpful-Oscar,Francisco and Reuben...The ladies who operated the breakfast buffet were also friendly and welcoming....This is a lovely place to stay and a staff member is always available to assist with booking a taxi....I am happy to recommend this place and gladly give it 10 out of 10.

We had no problems with the hotel, its location or cleanliness. However, we were double charged for our room back in March 2022 and 7 months later have still not received a refund. Upon check in the girl charged our credit card the incorrect amount for our booking. When I pointed out the error, she recharged my credit card in the correct amount and said she would issue a credit once she asked someone who knew how to process it. Shortly after we were issued a credit and given the appropriate slips indicating the 2 charges and the credit charges to my card. When we arrived home I noticed 2 charges from the hotel on my credit card statement but no credit. For some reason the credit has never processed to my credit card. Up on closer inspection of the credit slip I noticed it says INCORRECTO at the bottom and therefore never got processed. I have sent numerous emails trying contact someone at the hotel since this booking trying to get my $463.50 USD refund; and no one will return my emails or my phone calls. I even had the booking agency contact the hotel (***********) and they still will not correct this matter. This is not a big hotel (it has 21 rooms) and at the time of our stay it had very few bookings so reconciling this matter should not be a problem. I wonder if they make a practice of doing this type of thing??

Nothing to improve here. Beautiful, historic property. Our room was lovely, the beds super comfortable. Very quiet. Terrific neighborhood behind the hotel with lots of restaurants and boutiques. Breakfast (not included) was very good and the best poached eggs I’ve ever had. Loved it.
