Il hotel è stato un ottimo hotel per soggiornare presso il personale, amichevole e super utile. L'unico punto in basso è che il wifi non funzionava, abbiamo chiamato il desk front, che poi ha trasferito la nostra chiamata a un servizio informatico che non erano molto aiuto abbiamo trascorso il nostro soggiorno senza un wifi, non il più grande come una persona che visita per la prima volta, soprattutto se Tutto il resto è stato sorprendente che io abbia viaggiato con un amico e abbiamo avuto un bel tempo, perché questo sito ha molti posti grandi per buon cibo.

Great location! I had a conference at the Monterey Conference which is less than a 3 min walk! Only thing was that there was no AC, I’m so used to assuming that hotels always have AC, but it was my bad for not checking ahead of time. I asked for a roll out bed, and they were able to provide that, depending on availability at no extra cost. Had a good stay! Quite historical hotel.

Le camere sono tutte decorate con un tema. La mia era una sorta di look safari. L'altra stanza aveva un tema ”viaggiare”. Certo, la maggior parte delle decorazioni potrebbero essere state acquistate a Home Goods, ma era divertente. Le camere erano pulite. La posizione è grande. Il parcheggio non era un problema come alcune persone hanno scritto. (ma gli spazi sono stretti se hai una macchina più grande). La zona del colazione, come hanno detto alcuni, è piccola, ma fa quello che deve fare. Non è il Ritz o il Mandarino, ma è comodo, conveniente, pulito e costoso.

Very comfortable hotel conveniently located in downtown Monterey and short distance from 17 Mile Drive. Rooms are spacious and staff is very friendly. Room amenities are: individual sized coffee pot and mini fridge as well as standard hair dryer, toiletries and iron. Microwaves can be delivered to your room by request at no additional cost. The Marriott has a bar and serves breakfast (not included in room rate) and other meals. It is connected to the Monterey Convention Center so if you are attending a conference, this is the best place to be. If you need parking, be aware, only valet parking is available at $40 per day with in and out privileges. There are a couple parking garages with hourly rates within a couple block walk, they do not have in and out privileges. Valet service takes about 10-15 minutes to get your car depending on time of day. Mornings were a little longer wait. Wifi is not free unless you are a Bonvoy Member, you can sign up on the spot. Would stay here again.

Check-in went smooth; top notch room & views of the harbor and bay. This is the safest hotel near the Monterey sea. In house lounge and restaurant. Gorgeous room with huge shower, balcony and comfy bed. Worth every penny. Valet, parking and nice cleaning staff too. Prime location; it was very busy with a conference happening but still great!!

I'm guessing this is one of the oldest motels on the Munras Ave. ”motel row”...maybe mid to late 50's? It's still got the original wall-mounted gas heaters, which I love during Monterey's chilly, damp winters! Older, yes, but furniture and finishes are always in good condition and cleaning standard is above-average. Two small but comfy deck/patio areas outside. A huge advantage with this one, compared to others on the ”row” is that you are in easy walking distance of downtown and the wharves. And you're literally a block away from a Denny's, Jack, a pretty good Thai place, a decent Chinese joint, and an above-average pizza spot. Service is OK with a slightly faster check-in that most others. The owner is a straight-shooter - more honest than most. My only reservation would be the two or three rooms on the first floor, all the way in back. They're almost like a half-basement, so you may want to tour the rooms first before paying. There's nothing sensational about this place, but I'm giving 5 stars because it offers amazing value compared to others in this area.
