My recent stay at this hotel was unfortunately a mixed experience, with several areas needing significant improvement. Check-in Experience: We arrived at the hotel around 1 pm and were informed that our room would be ready by 2 pm. While we understood that delays can happen due to cleaning and late check-outs, it wasn't until 2:30 pm that we were finally given access. The wait at the reception was also less than ideal, with only one or two receptionists available to serve a large number of guests. The lack of organization in the line caused further frustration, and I believe the hotel should have had someone managing the queue to streamline the process. Room and Cleanliness: Upon finally entering our room at 3 pm, we were disappointed to find that it hadn't been cleaned yet. We had to store our luggage in the room and return later to find it cleaned. The towel situation was particularly frustrating. We were provided with only three towels for three people, which is far below the standard two towels per person that most hotels offer. To make matters worse, the towels were not replaced daily, and on one occasion, we received small hand towels that smelled bad. On another day, no towels were replaced at all. This lack of proper towel service was a significant issue during our stay. Facilities: The hotel features two pools, one of which is a smaller, quieter pool that we found enjoyable. However, the larger pool, divided by a staircase, was consistently overcrowded, making it difficult to enjoy. The beach was also a letdown, with dirty water and no sandy shore. Dining Experience: The restaurant's food was average at best. On several occasions, we struggled to find a table, and when we did, the tables were often dirty, with no utensils or water provided. The staff appeared to prioritize foreign guests over Tunisian ones, which was disappointing. Additionally, it was disheartening to see some guests taking excessive amounts of food, but this was more of a reflection on the guests than the hotel. Bars and Lounge Areas: One of the most disappointing aspects of our stay was the condition of the bars and lounge areas. The floors in the bars were consistently dirty, and it seemed as though they were not being cleaned regularly. This lack of cleanliness extended to the tables and chairs, which often had leftover crumbs, sticky surfaces, and spills that hadn't been wiped up. The chairs were a particular issue; they seemed to soak up water, likely from guests who were wet from the pool, making it uncomfortable to sit down. On several occasions, we even noticed that some of the chairs appeared to have been soiled by children, adding to the unpleasantness. This overall lack of cleanliness in the bars created an unsanitary and unwelcoming environment, which significantly detracted from our ability to relax and enjoy our time at the hotel. Ho soggiornato qui come viaggiatrice unica per 2 settimane a luglio. Dopo aver letto alcune delle recensioni negative ero un po' incerto. Sì, è morto come la maggior parte degli appartamenti in Tunisia, ma è perfettamente pulito, la biancheria da letto e gli asciugamani venivano cambiati ogni giorno, splendida vista sulla spiaggia e posizione proprio di fronte alla spiaggia 10TD per ombrellone e lettino per il giorno e tutto il personale è gentile e cordiale . C'è un bar direttamente sotto per tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno e gli appartamenti sono molto spaziosi. Sì, è rumoroso di notte perché si trova su una strada principale con molti bar e night club. Ho usato i tappi per le orecchie e non ho avuto problemi a dormire. Sono una persona molto esigente quando si tratta di appartamenti e hotel e lo consiglierei sicuramente e ci tornerei

Definitely not a 5* but can’t fault it too much, the hotel was clean, staff were all friendly and welcoming - especially bar/ waiting on staff. Animation team were absolutely brilliant with us the whole time we were there. Always very cheerful and fun doing pool activities and getting involved with the guests. Only 1 problem with the staff was the guy who took our luggage of us, seemingly can’t of give him a good enough tip for then on he was rude towards us spoke to everyone else but not to us even when spoken too. Which was a shame because tips shouldn’t determine how you should treat someone. Bed & pillows were very comfy, the room was a good size plenty of space. We had a view facing the beach which was a nice view especially watching the sunrise in the morning - only problem was the noise at night time was very noisy especially on weekends could do with some better doors to block the noise the out. The handle to our balcony door was broken. Food was good, lots of different choices but was same throughout all week apart from Saturday, got a little sick of eating the same things. Puddings were great. Good location for the hotel, beach right opposite the hotel, lots of shops and restaurants close by within walking distance everyone even in the shops were welcoming and friendly. Pool area was good a nice big pool and big selection of sun lounges ( you have to go early to get a decent sun lounger) chilled music played throughout the day in pool area which was nice and relaxing. Lots of shade for when you get too warm in the sun. Although we didn’t have housekeeping in our room they were more than happy to help when we needed. Very friendly always got a good morning and good afternoon of them.

I am really very disappointed with my last stay in Movenpick Sousse. I can't find a word that describes this terrible experience and I will simply list the problems that I had to go through: - During the check in, I had to go through the queue 3 times. Since the room was not ready, the lady told me that she will bring me the room access card once available so I will not need to got through the queue again, and of course she did not. I went twice through the long queue for almost 30 min in order to get the room card -I booked a King bed room and they gave me a twin bed room. The lady in the reception did not accept to change the room and she told the will change the mattress to a big single one over the two twin bed and of course she did not -The towels are dirty and stinky -The sink is clogged - The TV is not working - We kept the do not disturb sign in the room during our stay because my wife got sick but this was not respecting by the house keeping and the maintenance agent. They entered the room without our permission - Their excuse is that they received an order form their manager !! -In the restaurant and during the diner, I asked the waiter for a cutlery (because you almost never find a prepared table in the restaurant) - The waiter pointed his finger to another table and told me to get it by myself !!! I am still shocked by this impolite answer !! I still cannot understand how this kind of unpleasant events can happen in this hotel and all together during one stay. If my wife wasn't sick, I would have left the hotel since day one. In short, this is a half start hotel

Ho trascorso due settimane con la mia famiglia in questo resort. Tutto sommato, la vacanza è stata positiva, ma ci sono degli aspetti che andrebbero migliorati. La struttura è piuttosto datata, i rumori provenienti dai corridoi sono talmente amplificati da non permettere di riposare bene. Gli stessi inservienti parlano tra loro a voce molto alta senza considerare il disturbo per gli ospiti. I posti sui lettini sono limitati sia in spiaggia che in piscina e le regole non vengono fatte rispettare, per cui al mattino presto la gente va in spiaggia a occupare i lettini per ore senza utilizzarli. Quelli in prima fila vengono occupati dagli stessi bagnini che provvedono a destinarli secondo criteri non proprio trasparenti. Ci aspettavamo un mare più bello, ma è comunque abbastanza pulito. Il ristorante offre cibi squisiti e vari. Gentilissimi i camerieri, in particolare Mekrem. I nostri figli si sono divertiti moltissimo nelle bellissime piscine e hanno trascorso una vacanza super.

Resort nella norma , scarsa pulizia nelle camere, per il mangiare nella norma, il punto forte del resort rimane l'animazione, ragazzi disponibili simpatici e sempre pronti ad aiutarti in qulsiasi necessità(un grazie immenso a Franco , Tito, Sam , Cookie e Alexis e ovviamente tutti gli altri) grazie ragazzi siete il pilastro del villaggio, anche il personale bar della piscina il top.
