For those who want to be a bit away from the hassle of busy Como city, this is a good choice. Right at the Maltrasio ferry pier which is great!

La nostra camera (203) e l'hotel in generale hanno un disperato bisogno di essere rinnovati. La combinazione doccia nella vasca è pericolosa e perde su tutto il pavimento del bagno. Il letto era comodo. Il cibo è al di sotto della media e il cibo in piscina è per lo più terribile. La posizione è più che spettacolare ma molto cara per le condizioni della proprietà.

E SE IL GESTORE DEL RISTORANTE INDOSSA LA MASCHERINA SOTTO IL MENTO COME MODELLO MA GLI OSPITI E IL PERSONALE DEVONO INDOSSARLA COMPLETAMENTE. QUESTO È IL GRAND HOTEL I....... E SE UNA CAMERIERA PRENDE 6 MIN PER LA SUITE, L'ALTRA PRENDE 25 MIN? ......

I think the bad reviews don't really do the place justice. As for my own experience in late March '24 having booked an executive room during easter I have the following observations on the good side and what could be improved. First the good: - Very comfy, large bed in a large room. Way better than expected and I'd say arguably 5-star level bed. You will sleep well here. - Beautiful view - Quiet area around the hotel - Decent breakfast - Very convenient parking + charging for EV if needed - Friendly staff What could be better: - Noise insulation from within the hotel is poor. You easily hear the neighboring guests. Wasn't a big issue, but it depends on the guests and it can be loud during the day. - Larger TV with chromecast would be nice

It was an average experience overall. Overpriced for what it was. The only complimentary item is a bottle of water. Everything else expect to be fleeced. Enjoy.

There was blood on my mattress and the GM didn't seem to worry about it at all! The staff gave me wrong information about the events in the city. We were left on street in lake como with road closures and no way for getting back to the hotel. Have never seen anything like this before.

If visiting Lake Como this location is just a short drive from the larger city and so much more beautiful and peaceful. A luxurious hotel with a fantastic restaurant.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Our room was large with great facilities and the most comfortable bed. We didn't do breakfast or eat here so can't comment on this.

A very nice place, and unfortunately we noticed some negative reviews on the state of this old hotel, but it doesn’t affect the quality of the stay. Italy is old and perhaps not for everyone. Staff is kind and service very good. The spa and swimming pool are great bonuses. The location of the hotel by the lake shore is second to none. This is really good value for money. Adding to that the restaurant and bar are terrific.

You sat was amazing! He tended to me very nicely! Place was amazing. Front desk was perfect! They helped me with my birthday needs! I will definitely be coming back! Best vacation ever!! Breakfast was super!!

Very old hotel, the rooms are outdated and not comfy. Its not directly on the lake and the area is not recommended
