My husband and I went for a week and stayed in a first floor junior suite (they're 4 in a block so we had neighbours below and next door). Rooms are BASIC and very dark even when it's streaming sunshine outside, the balcony is a decent size but has a canopy over so was in shade for 90% of the day, views were out to the back of reception and the forest cottages, there was no privacy and it felt very claustrophobic, like a tiny village. Noise was also a problem, the resort itself is isolated, but the whole place was very noisy as you're all on top of each other, the walls to the apartments are also paper thin so if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs! The apartments were also dirty, there was literal excrement on our toilet seat when we checked in, the floors were so dirty your feet and socks turned black after walking on them for a while, I don't think the bathroom got a proper clean the whole week we were there. I also booked a birthday celebrations package with the hotel as it was my husbands 51st, cost me 84euro and was supposed to include 10 balloons, all we got was a couple of cheap banners which were sellotaped to the walls - ABSOLUTE CON! There was a woman who popped in to check and she just shook her head then left without saying anything else?! As for the pool areas, beach and sunbeds, if you want a good spot by the pool you'll need to be quick, they're all taken by 10am, as for the beach you'll need to be down there by 8am if you want a spot and that was us outwith the peak season, even though there's a kids pool they still take over the adult pool, so you'll have screaming kids to contend with all day too. The drinks are absolutely watered down, I had 5 cocktails and felt sober as a judge, the food for breakfast and lunch was okay, but for dinner we ended up going to Milna nearly every night as the hotel buffet dinner was so bad with the worst wine I've ever tasted. Ended up leaving early to go into Split to finish our holiday off, absolute worlds apart, amazing hotel, amazing food, amazing city, we loved every minute (and drinks which actually have alcohol in them). If you want to go to Croatia, ditch this place and stay in Split and do daytrips to the islands if you want to see them.
