我們到歐洲自駕遊的旅途中在這裏留下了深刻的美好印象。酒店內裝飾具有法蘭西傳統藝術風格，古樸中流露着浪漫與熱情。前台的帥哥更是給予我們很熱情親切的接待，先讓我們看了房間，介紹了生活設施。房間用品都很乾凈，暖氣也很熱，這對於冬季自駕遊的我們來説很重要。酒店的位置距離商業中心很近，環境幽靜，交通便利。周圍還有大型超市，購物也非常便利。院內有寬敞的停車場，還是免費的，晚上要關閉院落大門，因此給人安全感。我們很喜歡這家酒店，原來訂1天，後來又續訂1天。由於大意，在續訂時我們發生了重複下單的失誤，帥哥為我們及時糾正，避免了損失。

Colazione non fresca . yaourth tede.
Non c'è salato per colazione domenica mattina.
Non c'è igiene per il pane, tutti lo toccano per poterlo tagliare.
Camera letto orientale faccia a faccia la finestra con balcone attraversando. Tutti godono delle viste sulla camera.
Nessuna aria condizionata, era molto caldo ma impossibile aprire la finestra il mondo passa sul balcone.
Purtroppo il quadro verde esterno è bello.

Tutto è andato bene, come ci si aspetta da un hotel economico. Gli addetti alla reception sono stati gentili, anche se non parlano molto inglese. L'unico problema al check-in è stato che mi è stato chiesto di pagare nuovamente le spese dell'hotel, nonostante avessi già pagato online in anticipo. Mi hanno detto che non avevano addebitato l'importo sulla carta al momento del pagamento anticipato, perché serviva solo per prenotare le camere. Così ho pagato di nuovo subito alla reception. Stamattina ho controllato che entrambe le carte (quella usata per il pagamento anticipato e quella usata alla reception) fossero state effettivamente addebitate. Ora ho dei pagamenti doppi che sto ancora cercando di risolvere con il servizio clienti di Trip Advisor.
Inoltre, la mattina dopo siamo stati svegliati all'improvviso a causa del rumore fuori dalla nostra porta. Qualcuno urlava/parlava a voce altissima e continuava a sbattere oggetti. Quando ho aperto la porta, era la donna delle pulizie. A cosa serve mettere il cartello ”non disturbare” sulla porta se la persona che non dovrebbe disturbarti in realtà ti disturba direttamente da fuori dalla tua camera? Questa è la prima volta che incontro una governante così rumorosa e la prima volta che una governante non mi saluta con il ”buongiorno” nonostante ci siamo guardate negli occhi.

Ci siamo fermati per una notte in questa struttura, che abbiamo trovato molto accogliente. Personale gentile, posizione veramente centrale, comoda anche da raggiungere con la macchina (abbiamo parcheggiato nel parcheggio a pagamento indicato da loro, per una notte abbiamo speso €9,20, un costo onesto).
C'è anche la possibilità di utilizzare la sauna a €9 aggiuntivi a testa, ma purtroppo non siamo riusciti in quanto siamo arrivati troppo tardi.
Ci siamo trovati molto bene!

Bellissimo hotel nel centro di Reims, a pochi passi dalla cattedrale. Recentemente ristrutturato. Camere spaziose, design elegante e funzionale. Molto pulito. Bella spa, bar e ristorante. Personale molto cordiale e professionale.

Hotel room was clean and with all required amenities. Reception is not open 24 hrs but we were given instructions on where to find the key card and everything was fine.
Free parking outside the hotel. No coffee making facilities in the room but there were machines available in the breakfast room - at a charge.

Établissement bien placé, difficile de se garer proches de l hôtel.Salle du petit déjeuner trop petite par rapport aux nombres de personnes qui déjeunent. Mieux vaut arriver de bonne heure si vous voulez avoir quelque-chose à manger ??. Chambre correcte. Éviter les chambres en bout de couloir près des sorties afin d Éviter le claquement de la porte d'escalier.

Mi è stato detto che potevo registrarmi dalle 14:00 alle 20:30, ora, l'hotel chiuso tra 11 e 17h. a meno che non si possa regolare la tassa di soggiorno con carta bancaria. Ho dovuto andare e tornare alle 17:00 per ... 1,54€? !
Ho prenotato su Trip.com e mi sono trovato su Expedia con un altro numero di prenotazione, che non passava sul limite.

I stayed at Le Grand Hôtel Strasbourg from October 5–6, 2025 (Room 317). What happened that night was unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a three-star one.
At around 2:00 a.m., I was abruptly awakened by loud knocking. The man outside refused to identify himself, only saying, “You called for something; I’m bringing it to you”. I hadn’t requested anything. He refused to give his name, and I couldn’t confirm who he was with no peephole. He then asked, “Are you a Chinese man in Room 317?” I am a Chinese woman travelling alone. When I said no, he replied, “Oh, maybe you exchanged rooms, or maybe someone made a joke” and left.
I tried to call reception using the bedside phone, but it was broken. I then used my mobile to call the number on Google Maps; the same man answered, confirming only then that he was a hotel employee. He said a “Chinese man” had called asking for help, said he was in 317, and asked the receptionist to come because he had disabilities. Instead of verifying this request (which in the end turned to be from a guest in ibis hotel), receptionist simply checked the hotel system, read my full name aloud, assumed it was correct because it “looked Chinese”, and came knocking at 2 am.
When I asked whether he confirmed the caller’s name, he said, “We don’t usually ask the names of our guests”. He also refused to tell me his own name. Only the next morning did the manager say his name was “Francis”. When I asked for his surname, she replied, “That’s the name he goes by here”.
This entire event shows serious failures in safety, professionalism, and privacy:
-No night security protocol; staff knock on guests’ doors at 2 a.m. without verification.
-Broken in-room phone and no peephole reflect clear safety risks.
-The employee failed to confirm the caller’s identity.
-He accessed and disclosed my full name aloud, a privacy violation.
-His assumption that a Chinese name equals a Chinese man reveals racial and gender discrimination.
-He tried to distribute the responsibility to me, someone woken up BY him, instead of apologizing.
GOOD NEWS: The manager’s vague answer about his identity shows the hotel's good protection of personal privacy. It's just the privacy had nothing to do with its guests.
Because of this, I spent the night feeling unsafe and could not sleep until 4 a.m. I have neurasthenia, and being awakened like this caused serious distress. The next morning, the reception manager admitted that proper protocol requires checking a guest’s name before approaching their room — meaning this employee ignored standard procedure entirely. She kept repeating, “this is the first time this has ever happened to us”. This statement once again showed the amazing corporate culture of this hotel: distributing their responsibility onto innocent guest. She tried to make the incident seem as an isolated case rather than a systemic issue. But if their training were truly professionally standardised, such a mistake could never have happened.
The whole thing WAS a systemic problem: poor staff training, lack of supervision, and disregard for privacy and guest safety. The hotel was unable to distinguish between internal and external calls, meaning they can’t verify where a call comes from. If the man at my door had not been an employee, I would have had no way to protect myself.
Guests deserve safety, transparency, and respect — not fear, negligence, and discrimination. Until this hotel takes responsibility and implements real safety measures, there will still be danger of another guest being disturbed at 2 am, there will still be invasion of privacy by its staff, and there will still be chances of wasting your money only to get no rest over night and mental distress.

DDataworldCominciamo dagli aspetti positivi. L'hotel si trova vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, ma tenete presente che si sentono i treni. Non è possibile arrivarci direttamente in tram; bisogna percorrere un tratto a piedi.
La camera è dotata di forno a microonde, bollitore e fornelli. Tuttavia, ci sono pochi elettrodomestici. Non c'è asciugacapelli né ferro da stiro. La camera è piuttosto vecchia e non ha una cappa aspirante, quindi i mobili sono gonfi per l'umidità e piuttosto mal tenuti. Le prese elettriche erano rotte, il che indica che l'hotel non è ben tenuto.
Il lavello della cucina non scaricava bene, quindi ho dovuto usare il lavandino del bagno per lavare i piatti.
Per il prezzo, la camera era molto costosa.
Nella foto, ho contrassegnato le camere con problemi con delle frecce.

CChiuThe hotel is conveniently located next to the Reims train station, but reaching it was more challenging than expected. You need to exit the station through a specific platform exit that’s not easy to find, as there is little to no signage. We took the wrong exit, which added an extra 15 minutes to our walk to the hotel.
Upon arrival, we were quite surprised by the reception—or rather, the lack of a traditional one. It consists of just a small coffee table with a single computer, where one staff member manages both check-ins and check-outs while constantly running back and forth to assist guests. Initially, I thought this was just a secondary station and that a more formal reception area existed elsewhere, but that wasn't the case. I couldn’t understand how one staff member could handle all the guests with such limited resources, especially during busy periods. I suspect it could easily become chaotic during peak hours.
The room itself was quite small, and breakfast was not included in the rate. However, the hotel had an interesting offer: if we opted not to have housekeeping during our stay, they provided two complimentary glasses of champagne. We were happy with this arrangement, as we usually prefer not to have anyone enter our room during a short stay. We did enjoy our two glasses of champagne at the bar after dinner, which was a nice touch.
That said, with no breakfast included, there might be better value options available in the area. It's also worth noting that finding a place for breakfast near the hotel wasn’t easy, with limited options within a 5-minute walk.

UUtente ospiteAveva cambiato piani e non poteva fare questo viaggio a Reims e quindi voleva cercare di cancellare con Trip.com nonostante la prenotazione non cancellabile. Infine, purtroppo, non è stato possibile, poiché le parti interessate erano disposte a ospitare, così alla fine ho dovuto riorganizzare il mio calendario per evitare di perdere 200 dollari.
Quando siamo arrivati, il signore al di fuori del divano era amichevole e accogliente, e suggeriva di usare l'ingresso con la rampa per portare il nostro bagaglio, invece di portare più vibranti.
La stanza era a 6F e era ok. Per il prezzo spero di avere più spazio. C'è una strana condotto di cassetta contro il muro dove la TV è che si è spinta attraverso pareti multiple che era annoiante e pericoloso dal momento che è stato fissato a circa 1.5 metri alti dal suolo. Ho fatto un po' di battito sulla spalla, quindi è davvero un pericolo e dovrebbe essere rimosso se non è utile.
La stanza è dotata di un appartamento moderno e semplice, con pavimenti in legno e piastrelle di parete piatte che lo rendono pulito e ben tenuto.
Le strisce di illuminazione LED nelle pareti e nei tetti sono distrattive e sarebbe meglio rimuoverle.
Non sono stati inclusi i servizi minimi e la colazione.La pressione sul doccia non era forte e quindi ho preso più tempo di quanto non fosse normale.
In generale, immagino che questo sia 20-30% più economico per ciò che è stato offerto in termini di esperienza e mobili.

EExploreWithMoThe location is the main catch - 7 mins drive to the airport and 1 min walk to the France/Swiss border. Bus stop is right in front of the property and the tram stop is just 4 mins away.The apartment is ok, just basic. The property is a bit old but well maintained but can use some renovations especially the carpet. I perceived a funny smell as I stepped into the room (I think it's from the carpet). The service is fantastic, the staff attends to you with smiles always. There's a private swimming pool . There's a kitchenette in the room with some essentials(fridge, kettle , pots, plates, microwave, cutlery , induction and co)though I didn't get to use them. The room is spacious but the shower room is small.The cleaning can be done better - found some hair strands on the floor, dust/stains on the chair and the barrier at the back door/balcony. I like that the main door is always locked and you are given a code to unlock it from outside, feels safe. There's someone at the front desk 24 Hours. There is a restaurant directly opposite the property, I had dinner there on my first night, not bad and the price is reasonable. More cafes, shops and restaurants down the street about 3/4 minutes walk. The Lady at the front desk assisted me to order a taxi to the airport. New hand towel and sponge in the kitchenette Overall, not bad and it's reasonably priced.

C'era un bagno privato e gli asciugamani venivano forniti nella stanza privata, quindi non c'era bisogno di noleggiarli separatamente. Il deposito bagagli è disponibile presso l'armadietto a gettoni (Euro) al primo piano.

UUtente ospiteThe aparthotel is situated very close to Strasbourg main train station. You can also easily walk to the old town district from the aparthotel in less than 10 minutes.
Nice things:
- Water dispenser in the lobby to fill up your water bottle.
- Heat radiator in toilet, keeps you warm when you step out of the shower.
Thing to call out:
- The curtains for the room dont fit the window, because our windows were slanted, the curtains couldn't fully black out the window. When inspecting the curtain lines and the curtain itself, you can tell 100% that the wrong curtain is used for the curtain lines because it wont fully use up the curtain lines when the curtains are drawn.
- The shower curtains are too long/loose for the showers in the bath room, when showering you can almost feel the shower curtains touching you all the time. I hope the shower curtains are actually clean; otherwise it'd be pretty disgusting to have them in contact with my skin.
- The air conditioning is not adjustable.
- Water kettle is oily, makes boiled water look disgusting. Likely due to misuse by a previous guest.
- Laundry is not free, requires 4/5 EUR per wash.
- Requesting for towels/exchanging towels also cost money.
