Nima Local House Hotel & Spa

We had such a delightful stay at Nima. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and welcomed into a beautiful home. We enjoyed a delicious drink at check-in and taken to our beautiful room, which was very quiet and just off the top floor terrace — the De la Lama room. The house is historic and without an elevator and there are narrow steps to the top floor room which is something to consider for those with mobility issues. Staff kindly brought our bags up to our room. The terrace room is remote and quiet and has beautiful windows that let in lots of light, but there are blackout shades for sleeping in. The room is small, but fine for two people. The terrace is an excellent place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. It has lots of comfortable seating with a combination of small tables and sofas and lots of flowers, greenery, a fountain and an honor bar. The house location is perfect, along a quaint tree-lined street and just down the street from Panadería Rosetta and Rosetta Restaurant. We had wonderful meals at both locations, but get a reservation early for Rosetta restaurant. Staff were helpful at making reservations for us at restaurants but we made reservations for Rosetta far in advance of our trip. Everyone at Nima was very helpful at giving recommendations on places to visit and created an overall warm and welcoming atmosphere. After visiting the Museo Casa Luis Barragon, the famous architect, we came home to a book of architecture on our bed to enjoy during our stay. It was a very thoughtful touch. We had breakfast a few of our days at the hotel and it was delicious. During the six days we were there, they had music as entertainment one evening and also a fire pit. We were only able to step in and enjoy music for a while one night because we had reservations at a restaurant and we did not join for the fire pit, but I’m sure it was done well. This was a girls trip for my mother and me but I can see where it would be a nice place for couples or friends. I highly recommended this hotel and hope to return.

We had a fantastic time at Nima! Starting from before we even arrived, they offered support and recommendations. Outrageous food (the green juice!!), aromatherapy in the room and comfy bed. Also packed us lunch to go one day. Wonderful staff and spa great too. We will be back!

Our stay at Nima exceeded all expectations. The building is beautiful and exceptionally well-maintained. The turn down service was such a lovely, peaceful way to come home after a long day exploring the city. The breakfast was delicious and especially pleasant to enjoy in the rooftop garden. The highlight of our stay was the attentive, thoughtful staff who made our experience truly seamless.

My boyfriend and I visited in early August and had the best experience! The house is gorgeous and relaxing and our room was spacious and so comfortable. The location is perfect - close to many great restaurants and shops in Roma Norte but is on a quiet and relaxing street so you don’t hear noise at night. The hospitality was AMAZING. The team is great. So helpful with recommendations, the room came with an iPad with recommendations for every neighborhood in CDMX (along with all the amenities / offerings of the hotel, music, and more). Each night had turndown service that included tea, cookies and an aromatherapy diffuser which was so nice to come back to. Breakfast was tasty, and our stay included access to the spa sauna, which was also incredible. Seriously the best getaway, couldn’t recommend it enough!

You can believe all the good reviews here; Nima Local House Hotel is awesome in every way. If you’re looking for a small inn with exceptional and personal service, impeccable cleanliness, many thoughtful touches, lovely design and a wonderful Roma Norte location, this is it. The staff will do anything to make your stay pleasant but are never intrusive. Highly recommended!

Nima is nestled in the perfect street with great coffee and unique shops nearby. The room was super comfy with all the accoutrements you’d expect plus more. I had a terrific massage at their spa. The staff went above and beyond providing good service. We now feel like family. Thank you Luis and Flor!
