Hotel in zona Aria Park, Melbourne

A new and charming hotel, in the district of Docklands in Melbourne. Excellent location, very calm and quiet, next to a Tram Station, free ride to several places in the city, including downtown, walking to the Docklands and the Marina. The room was comfortable and specially clean, great king bed, nice shower with good amenities. Amazing infinity pool with a great view, sauna and a equiped fitness center. The breakfast has great quality, excellent food and beverages. The highlight are the staff, very attentive and friendly, the general manager Mr. Christian, is always available and present. One of the best lounge in Marriott Hotels. The M Club has a super nice atmosphere, excellent options for food and drinks, excellent wines and a chef in the morning preparing a very good breakfast. Congratulations to Fazeel and his team, they are ALL spectacular. I recommend André I'll be back. Thanks to all the wonderful human being from this elegant Marriott Hotel.

Stato qui il 3 e 4 giugno.. Nuovo hotel, così come previsto, pulito e ben mantenuto.. La camera era molto piccola, ma il letto era molto comodo ( due re singola si sono spinti insieme),la camera era una grande dimensione con una doccia grande, che aveva una mano con la testa, così come la testa piovana.Nessuna guardia,ma aveva una ferrovia con circa 6 vestiti.. Connie, che era al di fuori del dipartimento, era sorprendente, molto utile e niente era molto problematico.Molto facile.e senza saldatura check-in.. L'hotel era grande, una pietra gettata al Vic Market, e ristoranti. In futuro saremo di nuovo, e consigliamo questo hotel ... 2 pollice in alto ...👍👍

Choosing Dorsett for my first journey to Australia. Price is rather okay since it is winter. Dorsett located in the city center，which is about a 10-minute walk from Southern Cross Bus Station. There is a model car placing right beside the front door. Front desk receptionists are friendly and it took only couple of minutes to check in. 200 Australian dollar is required as deposit，either by credit card or cash. The room is about 30 square meters，which is big enough for two person. Facilities are fine，but neither disposable items （toothbrush，slipper）nor drinking water were provided. City view could be seen from the window. Swimming pool is at the 7th floor. Housekeeping service of 10 Australian dollar is included in the room price and is refundable for those who do not need it. Food delivery is available but could only be place at the lobby. Remember to take your room key at night in case the front door is locked after certain period. Checking out is also fast and luggage storage service is provided. Overall，living in Dorsett is a good experience.

Good service, great location within CBD, close to Southern Cross and Flinders stations, within free tram zone too. The bed was comfie enough, room small, dated and needed a lick of paint and fridge really noisy. Even at 5 storeys up you can hear traffic, especially sirens. BUT, I wouldn't let that put you off, IF you simply need an affordable base to go explore etc.

Il servizio all'hotel era amichevole, ma il standard, accettando che si tratta di un hotel a basso costo era inferiore a quello che mi aspettavo... tutti i mobili hanno chips di pittura mancanti e il divano e le tende hanno piccole righe notevoli, dicolorazione generale e solo un aspetto generale in calo. La vasca e la cucina potrebbero fare soprattutto con una veramente pulita... solo un po' di attenzione per lavare le pareti e le noci e le crane sopra il check out standard di pulire per rendere effettivamente più pulita della superficie... È davvero le piccole cose; fornire 5 piccole bottiglie di shampoo e non condizionatore, (chiesto ai pulitori e dissero che non è stato rilasciato condizionatore) ma affermare di fornire i bagni... nessun asciugacapelli, solo 2 asciugamani per una persona per 2 notti; per fornire un lavatrice di vestiti ma non lavatrice liquido per lavare i vostri vestiti... ma 6 compresse per il lavatrice? Opzioni strane che tutti hanno aggiunto alla mia involontà di rimanere in questo hotel di nuovo o lo consiglio. Mi sono divertito anche nelle vicinanze di Aldi per lavare i vestiti liquidi, condizionatore, e pulire i lavastoviglie, così potevo sentirmi comodo seduto in una sala sporca..

The room is quite nice and the location is good. It’s self checkin so I had to wait downstairs for a while as there was no staff and I wasn’t aware of this. There was a really a noisy alarm in the building across the street from my room and I asked to change room around midnight. The staff aren’t very accommodating and I couldn’t change room. Luckily the noise stopped after a while. The hotel is okay but I had actually just come from the Brady Hotel at Central Melbourne where the price and location is similar but with much better customer service. I’d suggest skipping the Ibis.

Il personale della reception è molto amichevole e estremamente efficiente in tutte le mie esigenze e indagini. Il mantenimento della casa rende sempre la mia camera nuova e pulita. La posizione è al centro della città che è conveniente per tutte le vostre esigenze e luoghi di visita.

Camere pulite, personale amichevole e posizione perfetta. Facile accesso ai punti di trasporto pubblico e di pasto. Grande valore per i soldi. Buona opzione di bilancio per una breve visita. Mi piacerebbe tornare.

My wife and I operate a small coach tour company, and have done so for the last 28 years. We offer residents of Sydney, the Central Coast, the Southern Highlands, Canberra and Queanbeyan, the opportunity to travel on a variety of tours, ranging from four days to ten days in length, to different areas in Eastern Australia. Last week, a group of our passengers from these areas travelled on a seven-day tour to Victoria. During the tour, our passengers stayed for four nights at the Novotel Melbourne Preston. We certainly have no complaints or regrets about using this Hotel for our group’s stay! When I first contacted the Hotel in September 2023, about the possibility of using it for my tour group’s accommodation for this tour, my enquiry was treated with genuine enthusiasm. I was put through to the Sales Manager, Ms Michele Kerrigan. Michele was amazing to deal with. After a steady stream of telephone conversations and emails during the next few days, the accommodation was booked, and the menus for all the dinners during this stay were locked in. At some hotels we’ve used over the years, this process can take weeks, and it can be quite a frustrating experience. At this Hotel, it was the exact opposite. So, a huge ‘thank you’ to Michele, for making this all so easy for us as tour organisers! After all the arrangements we finalised, and the booking was locked in, Michele passed on our booking to the Sales Coordinator, Annalise Dimase. Once again, Annalise was an absolute delight to work with! Between the finalisation of the booking, and the date of the group’s arrival, we spoke many, many times on the phone, and exchanged many, many emails. In all my dealings with Annalise, she was professional, personable, helpful, patient, and attentive. On a few occasions, when Annalise was unavailable, I was transferred to Nada, another member of the Sales Team. Again, Nada was wonderful to work with. When our tour group arrived at the hotel, Michele, Nada, and Annalise were all there to greet the passengers. They were very impressed by the warm and friendly welcome offered to them by this team! Once inside the Hotel, this level of service was experienced in all sections. The reception staff, the housekeeping staff, the restaurant staff, the chef and kitchen staff were all friendly, welcoming, obliging, and helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to any tour groups requiring accommodation in Melbourne. Judging by our experience, it would be difficult to surpass the level of attentiveness and friendliness offered by the management team and staff, the quality of service, the degree of comfort, and the attention to detail our group received during their stay. Very nice location, I felt like it was very good pricing. They do make up the room every other day, so just need to be prepared for that. Pretty good amenities. The lack of an established pick up/drop off point will be a little awkward. But otherwise I like the place.
