Location wise is tip top nearby jonker street, service is really good and attentive especially breakfast, it was ala carte and delicious. Hotel beautifully decorated with babanyonya style. Room are little outdated, old tv, no socket beside bed, small hair dryer, non sensitive door handle. With the price we paid we could get better quality of facilities tho, narrow gym & swimming pool. However, TQ to everyone in the hotel, they’re very friendly and accommodating

This is a very new hotel which started their business in March 2023. Wanted to try on the first day of opening but due to some reason, it was delayed till now. It’s a first Marriott hotel in Melaka, so I do have very high expectations from them. As a Marriott platinum elite member, I’ve stayed in many hotel under Marriott organisation. Upon reaching the hotel with grab car, the staff came up to me immediately and lead me to the check in counter, the lobby are huge, and I can still smell that the hotel are still so new. Not much of the guest in the lobby area, it’s a Monday so I guess it’s normal. No suite room upgrade and no complimentary breakfast for a platinum member, although I was upgraded to a strait view room which I appreciated it. It can see a tiny bit of the sea. Apart from that, I guess the room size and amenity are the same. The check in staff told me that the suite room was full… I mean.. it’s a Monday.. and I literally still can see the suite room was available in the Bonvoy app. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve been to many hotel under Marriott organisation. I don’t always get upgraded to a suite room, but it was okay, I do understand all these are subjected to individual hotel policy and it’s all a good will. But I guess the staff could just tell me that the hotel are still new, the suite room are limited and it’s reserved for paying guest. I would totally understand that. But I don’t think it’s wise to you know, use a default replied as member like us, we check on the app. For me, if there’s no available suite room, I wouldn’t even ask for an upgrade. Secondly, there’s no complimentary breakfast, I paid RM70 for the 2 day breakfast. I’ve stayed in a few courtyard hotel, this was the first one that I’ve paid for breakfast, there might be other courtyard that don’t provide complimentary breakfast for guest with elite status, maybe I didn’t stay much enough to see it all. I’ve stayed with hotel that told me that their facility actually don’t offer complimentary breakfast for elite member, but they will just give it to me as a good will on top of my welcome gift. Just a little suggestion, like maybe let the counter staff to decide, if they could slip in some complimentary breakfast to guest with elite status or even guest that potentially come back again. I’m not complaining here, just some of my suggestions. The room are new, nice and spacious, very clean. Nice TV channel selection, view was great. Bed are firm to the level that I like, they offer pillow menu as well. Had very good sleep for the 2 night. Breakfast was very basic. There’s a very annoying flies flying around my table.. how did it come into the hotel, lol. Gym are small but there should be everything you need. The infinity pool are great! Very good view and very Instagrammable. Please visit the pool when you are here. The staff and friendly and nice. Would come back again to the hotel when I’m back in Melaka.

We had stayed in Hatten hotel a few years for the first time and liked it very much. So for our second visit it is a natural choice for us again. The staff was friendly and the household service was prompt in sending extra towels at night. We had used the swimming pool this time unlike our previous visit. It was clean and looked well maintained. Its location was excellent as it is next to two malls. Jonker walk is about 20 minutes away by foot. The only disappointment we had was the quality of the breakfast and Ramadan dinner. There is a wide selection of food items but it was quantity over quality.

Sono parcheggi gratuiti per gli ospiti, ricordati di convalidare il biglietto del parcheggio prima di lasciare l'hotel. L'hotel è vicino alla città di Melaka, mi diverto molto con la mia ragazza qui, sicuramente verrà di nuovo. Arrivederci

The hotel stay overall was a pretty experience. Located in the heart of little India, a block away from Chinatown, and a couple blocks away from the main Pier area. It’s pretty easy to get around from this hotel has everything is quite walkable. The hotel had staff that were pretty helpful overall. I stayed two nights during Christmas when the hotel was full of patrons, and not a single room was available. The rooms are the typical Ibis kind of rooms but one thing that is good about the Malacca in ibis is that is kept up pretty well. There wasn’t anything that was worn down in the room other than my nonworking TV, which didn’t bother me. Oh, another somewhat of a hiccup that I ran into was the restaurant. According to the menu, the restaurant closes at 10 PM and the sign downstairs indicate 10:30 PM. My wife and I would really hungry and at 9:36 PM, I went downstairs to order an Ibis burger and an apple juice. The waiters at the front desk initially rejected my order, indicating that they’ve already closed the kitchen, but there was no indication of any “last order” time anywhere on their menu, or at their restaurant. Of course, since I was as a bear, I was not up for a kitchen closing early for whatever reason. So, I threaten to contact management indicating that the restaurant doesn’t have a last order time. In response, the waiters contacted the kitchen asking if they are willing to take my order and lo and behold, their chef was going to make the burger and drink. Not sure if this is a Malaysian thing or not, but I thought that was kind of scummy. I didn’t end up contacting management with what happened, but perhaps anybody who is going to order room service at around 930pm might want to use the same tactic as I did.

A nice 4 Star hotel with limited numbers for rooms.Grab fast. There's a small swimming pool and sauna(steam room) for use. For those who drive, there's both indoor and outdoor carparks at the back of the hotel. You have to drive through an alley to get to the area. Please ask the lobby staff for directions. Their rooms are nice and cosy. An important thing to take note of, the rooms and corridor areas are only accessible by cards issued by them. So please remember to bring along the access card. The staff of the hotel will check the availability of food for the breakfast provided by the hotel. You don't have to worry there's insufficient food.

*************.. check-in completa per 1 notte qui.. pulizia è ok.. check-in è smooth.. la reception e l'ostello sono altri edifici.. devono camminare un po' prima di arrivare.. tutti devono portare il proprio.. che fornisce il prezzo delle tovalette e della carta da bagno.. Mi ricordo che c'era un ferro fornito, si è scoperto che non c'era ferro ... Ho dovuto portarlo anche ... Ho dovuto parcheggiare un po' lontano perché era tempo per le vacanze scolastiche e per i domenica.. Il parcheggio è un po' difficile..

È un vecchio edificio, non rinnovato per molto tempo, le finestre non si apreno almeno nella mia stanza, non c’è un banco per aprire il bagaglio, le cascate sono state fugate,è stato impossibile regolare l’acqua calda/ fredda al doccia,in generale molto pulito, il personale utile come ci hanno permesso di controllare in 1 ora prima, la colazione ha molto poca varietà,nessuna acqua minerale fornita,nessun gel da doccia, nessun pasta dentale, solo sapone a mano e gel dello shampoo è stato fornito

Room is very spacious and clean. We have the Deluxe King. Toilet and shower room is separate. Wifi is okay. Hotel location is 10 mins walk to Dataran Pahlawan Mall, Christ Church and Jonker Street. The reception only till 10pm then only the security guy there. We were lucky enough arrive around 10pm right before the reception staff go back. But the lift is broken when we arrive glad our room is just at level 1 so not much hassle to carry our luggage to the room. Staff is quite helpful and friendly to us. They have like common space near the lobby so u can eat ur takeaway there and also they provide hot and cold water near the common space. It is very nice that they have it. Truly enjoy it.

Io sono al centro di Johor Bahru e la città di casa di mio padre è a Malacca.Ho soggiornato a Wayfarer con i miei genitori per 2 giorni 1 notte in congiunzione con All Souls Day.Ho davvero amato la stanza molto! È così orientale, pulito, cosy, bello &con una bella sala balcone.WiFi gratuito è fornito anche.La più importante, la posizione della casa ospite è nel cuore della città.Che grande posizione! Potremmo camminare così facilmente senza dover guidare la nostra auto intorno alla zona della città.Quello che mi piace di più di Wayfarer è che è così vicino a Jonker Walk, Jonker Street e la zona della chiesa di Cristo.Al contrario della mia sala balcone, Posso vedere la chiesa di St.Xavier e il fiume Malacca con i barche da crociera che passano tutto il tempo.Non posso davvero dimenticare il mio soggiorno a Wayfarer.Io consiglio veramente la gente di venire e rimanere a Wayfarer! Non si pentiranno e il prezzo delle camere sono così economico e ragionevole.Le tolette sono assolutamente pulite e la gestione fornisce lavastoviglie e schiuma da doccia per gli ospiti.La stanza che ho soggiornato in ha anche un bagno.Ultimo, ma non meno importante, Wayfarer mi ha dato un servizio molto buono e amichevole a me e alla mia famiglia.Non dimenticherò mai il mio soggiorno a Wayfarer.Sarò certamente tornato a Wayfarer per restare di nuovo quando c'è un'altra opportunità e un'altra buona opportunità.Quindi, Vorrei congratularmi con la gestione di Wayfarer e delle loro famiglie immediate per il loro lavoro turistico e per il loro futuro impegno! Grazie molto Wayfarer per avermi lasciato andare con la mia famiglia a stare molto dolce, divertente e carina.Abbiamo riuscito a fare buone ricordi a Wayfarer e a Malacca.AMO WAYFARER così tanto!
