I have rated a 5 star because of 2 marvellous enployees Samir and Sailesh from the restaurant (Pomme de Mat and Sushi Quay) were very friendly and made us feel very comfortable during the day package with my family. Ranging from their welcoming, talking and giving us all the info that we required and most importantly always maintaining a beautiful on their face make them commendable employees for Suffren hotel. Honestly, as it is said employees are the asset to a firm and if they do not project a positive a**ostphere and make customers feel sovereign, then whats the use?! But Samir and Sailesh have not only gone beyond out expectations but have also made us want to visit the hotel again. I strongly believe that Samir and Sailesh need to be promoted to a higher position. Very well done both!!!!!!!

5 stelle sono poche per la favolosa settimana passata al Ravenala. partendo dalla reception, al nostro arrivo ci hanno accolto con il più caloroso dei benvenuti e offerto un drink rinfrescante nell'attesa che ci venissero fornite tutte le indicazioni sulla struttura. Va subito nominato il bravissimo Ismail, un ragazzo d'oro, un vero plus per questo villaggio. Ismail ci ha aiutato in ogni singola richiesta del nostro soggiorno, dalla possibilità di prenotare un ristorante in particolare alla prenotazione di escursioni, al cambio di valuta, sempre attento ad ogni più piccola esigenza del cliente, oltre che essere sempre solare ed educato. ci sono moltissimi ristoranti e bar, che con all inclusive, sono gratuiti (ad esclusione di due ) il che rende l'esperienza ancor più immersiva avendo assaggiato diverse cucine del mondo (consigliamo il ristorante kreolo una vera delizia, qui un ringraziamento va al cameriere Sachin, sempre gentile e cordiale e alla signora dei tabaji una vera dolcezza), vanno però prenotati subito il primo giorno essendo sempre full. Tutti i giorni ci sono spettacoli (la sera) e diversi intrattenimenti (kayak, pedalò, sup, snorkeling) tutti compresi. Un altro punto forte sono le camere e il bagno, delle vere suite, grandi, illuminate e curate in ogni dettaglio, un occhio di riguardo va alla pulizia quotidiana ottima. abbiamo provato anche il centro benessere vicino alla spiaggia una vera chicca. Tutto lo staf sempre gentile, sorridente educato, pronto a seguire ogni esigenza del cliente. l'unica nota ”negativa” può essere il colore del mara davanti alla struttura, effettivamente non è l'acqua che ci si aspetta alle mauritius ma questo a causa del Citron che sfocia proprio accanto alla spiaggia, ma basta attraversarlo (a piedi 1 minuto) e andare sull'altra sponda per godersi le acque cristalline mauritiane, oppure fare snorkeling con l'escursione gratuita del ravenala o utilizzare il kayak nel fiume. insomma abbiamo passato una settimana splendida, della quale non ci scorderemo mai, in un gioiello di villaggio e isola.

Well it was our first time at labourdonnais hotel for dinner and it was a fabulous night...you have a fantastic team specially vinsen and Arvind who were our waiters....and Mr Anoop an amazing restaurant manager who gave us a warm welcome,he is a humble person, friendly and very helpful and always smiling,eyes contact which is the most important things in the hospitality business....food was great and tasty... presentation was wow...well for sure we'll be back again and again and will bring more friends to your hotel.... thanks again to the three people I mentioned...they made our dinner....

Il soggiorno ha pienamente soddisfatto le nostre aspettative. La struttura è accogliente e confortevole, in particolare le camere da letto sono molto spaziose e pulite (pulizia della stanza 2/3 volte al giorno). Inoltre, l'albergo offre una vasta gamma di ristoranti al suo interno. Noi avevamo la formula ”half board” (mezza pensione) che prevede la possibilità di scegliere tra 3 degli 8 ristoranti a disposizione. Cibo ottimo in tutti i ristoranti che abbiamo provato e adatto ad ogni esigenze e necessità. Tuttavia, nella mezza pensione, a differenza dell'all inclusive, non sono incluse bevande alcoliche (vino/birra) ma sono considerati come extra. Anche per quanto riguarda la spiaggia, nulla da segnalare. é molto lunga e i lettini sono comodi, anche se al mattino conviene ”prenotarsi” i lettini per evitare di restare senza (cosa che però a noi non è mai capitata) essendo la struttura dotata anche di 3 piscine con annessi lettini. Evidenzio che l'albergo è situato ad est, quindi il sole tramonta molto presto e già verso le 4 non c'è più sole sulla spiaggia. Nonostante ciò, per fortuna, non ci siamo mai annoiati essendo l'albergo dotato di molte attività di intrattenimento. Sono infatti incluse attività acquatiche come sci nautico, boat glass (barca con vetro sotto per vedere il fondale), gonfiabili, ma anche attività come minigolf, bocce, ping pong e campi da tennis. Sono a disposizione, a pagamento, anche delle biciclette. Noi abbiamo utilizzato molto anche la palestra che offre una vasta scelta di macchinari. Unica pecca che segnalo è il servizio di organizzazione delle escursioni. Poco tempestivo ed efficiente, dovevamo spesso rincorrere noi il ragazzo che se ne occupava.

Where shall I start...Our stay way pretty perfect! Most of you know Mauritius for the big hotel areas, so it was an absolute miracle that we found this lil gem on the island. We had a wonderful 9 days at the SALT of Palmar. We loved that it was super tiny, and very familiar, every corner had a special detail and the service was superb. The staff really makes you feel at home. If you are looking for a Mandarin Oriental Standard, then this won't be the right one. But what this hotel had, is a lot of soul and personality. Rooms: Book a room with a sea view. We had one, but I would say that that's the magic of it. You will realize quite fast that the hotel is refurbished, so here and there you see that it's not 100% up to date, but it really doesn't matter. The rooms were super clean, and spacious and had a great personalized interior. Housekeeping in the morning and also for turndown service did a great job. Thanks to the team! You will see that TV is missing and also Mini-Bars, but that's why you have chosen a Lil boutique hotel over a big chain. Beach: The beach is beautiful, clean, and located around the corner, so u don't get the feeling that it's getting crowded with too many guests, what I loved. The pool is nice, but there could be more sunbeds. Be aware that you are on the eastern side, so when u arrive in August or September, it's very windy and may get chilly. While in November, you will be happy to have the breeze. Snorkelling: Yes, you can snorkel, and you will see fish. But don't expect reef-like on the Maledives for sure. Food: ONE OF A KIND. If you are looking for endless buffets and a big choice just to look at, this won't be your cup of tea. The food was just amazing. Very individualized menu, a big variety. We didn't eat twice the same. The breakfast menu was outstanding and so was the coffee (which usually always sucks in hotels). Nevertheless, you have to say that if you wanna dishes outside the included menu or wines, they are quite expensive (even for Europeans). The only experience, where we were not really stunned, was the cocktails at any point. Watery, not really strong etc. Foodservice: A very big thanks to the service team. you made our experience stunning, also the way you took care of my parents and everything around my mom's birthday. OUr warmest thanks to Vidusha!! But also to Vinesh, Med, Vajna and Vashish (I Hope I got the names right) We hop to see you soon!

Non è stato detto che le strutture e i servizi dell'hotel di sei stelle, specialmente Yash, che fornisce servizi di telefonia comune, non sono cinesi, è piuttosto sorpreso.Grazie per l'aiuto di Yash nel ristorante di ciambelle prenotato, è una esperienza molto speciale. Se non è abbastanza buono per tutti, puoi dire a qualsiasi cameriere dell'hotel che vuoi cercare Yash, va bene.E il paesaggio della mia camera 87, mi piace molto.
